LOVE-SWEET-WONDERFUL

I only watched this series because of the ML (watched Mobius which he was in and liked him from that series). This is the 2nd Chinese series I’ve seen. (I watch K-dramas)! I so loved this series, although a little long for me, I prefer shorter series.
I loved both the ML & FL, they were awesome I thought (as well as all the supporting actors). It had a lot of sad moments and issues, but this series I think is truly about true love and to see how much he truly loved her was amazing, just melted my heart.
And of all the K-dramas I’ve watched, I have to say this had the best ending (yeah it made me cry) but a happy cry. The ending was just amazing, so sweet, so full of love, so everything. I LOVED IT! MADE THE WHOLE SERIES!

Nothing Wrong with being AMBITIOUS - You Go, Girl!

I am not a big fan of ZLS although I think she is a fine actress. I have nothing against her at all. I am just not a fan of hers. Nonetheless, I have watched several of her dramas and I have enjoyed her in them. For instance, she was great in "The Long Ballad" and in "Love like the Galaxy". Her performances left good and lasting impressions. Similarly, I am not a big fan of WC. Again, I have watched a few of his productions and I must saw that he is a fine actor.

I was blown away by this production - Love's Ambition. <3

What I Loved:
- The FL was a go-getter. I liked how she was so smart and sassy. When she realised the error of her ways, she owed up and moved on. She was a flawed and complex character. She was so human and so relatable.
- The ML was suave and I liked that he, too, behaved like a mature man in love when he realised that he did love her after all.
- The outfits worn by the FL were so beautiful. She looked so charming and feminine in all her looks. She was truly quite ravishing in this drama. IMO, this role really made her "glow up" and "grow up". I'd say that this FL is definitely one of my favourites.
- The story moved quickly enough and there were many instances of suspense as well as hilarity. I was riveted and wanted to move from one episode to the next. There were some twists and turns. Some were expected while some were quite surprising and I liked being surprised.
- The FL's MIL turned out to be pretty likeable and great. The FL's grandmother was a gem. The scenes with the grandmother were mostly quite moving.
- I liked the happy ending.

What I Did Not Like So Much:
- Some parts were not edited well. Some parts were a little disjointed.
- There were annoying characters and some actors/ actresses could not act that well which marred the show a little bit.

Overall, I rate this a must-watch at 9/10! :o)
<3

I highly enjoyed watching both the FL and ML on my screen. Their chemistry was good. I liked that they behaved like pretty normal man and woman which made them relatable. I also liked their chemistry which set some slightly more adult scenes on fire. Thumbs-up for this drama! Be ambitious! Go Watch It and Love It! <3

:o)

A big no

Honestly, the story didn’t make any sense to me. The beginning was good, but the ending was terrible. The first few episodes were engaging, but after that, it just became gross. The only thing I liked was the acting. However, because the script was weak, even the actors’ performances were affected.

Baek Ahn Jin: The Conjuring 5

This actress is giving soo much thriller. Infact , her pairing with Yoo Jun Seo is more scary than Conjuring season i have watched. I dont know who to be more afraid of; Ahn Jin or Jun Seo. I love this series. Was skeptical at first to watch it, but became so invested after ep1. Had 5k watch the remainig eps the same day all at once. Cant wait for the rest to drop

The story is not what you think at all, the title and preview didnt do justice

First you all need to know before watching and not to get dissapointed, The Main Character is The FL Mother and FL, ML is just a support character in this entire drama.

The Title and preview didnt do justice at all, most episode have an anoying thing that makes you wanna stop really, the FL mother Character is the worst that ive ever seen in the entirety of cdrama, but dont get me wrong tho, the acting is really good that she can embodied someone as anooying as this as a character.

I thought after ep 16, the most annoying episode for me, it gettin better but oh man i was wrong, it constanly doin it for the entirety till finish, the romance plot is almost non exictance if there are, its so subtle that i forgot about it already.

in the late episode i had to fast forward and skip it coz i cant bear it anymore but need to finish it.

Damn, such a waste of main cast, FL and ML is really good couple and the subtle romance is really rewarding, hopin they get together again with full romance in the next project.

Strong friendship and resilience

I really enjoyed watching this drama because it portrays women's struggles in patriarchal ancient Chinese society, where the rules limited many women's potential in court and in their daily lives. The women were forced to marry either for business profits or for their family's sake, like Hao Jia. What makes this drama very interesting is that among the women who were forced to marry the Xinchuan princes, some of them found good partners who helped them break the law of the marriage selection across the nine regions and changed it to be more beneficial towards women, giving them freedom to start businesses and explore their opportunities and not to limit them to only marriage and childbirth.

Furthermore, I loved the friendship between Li Wei and the other girls, as they supported each other through the tribulations they faced and stayed together. This is what I liked the most in this drama, alongside the romance genre. Also, I laughed most of the time because of Yin Qi. He is such a good comedic character.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this drama to people who like strong friendships between characters alongside romance and comedy.

It Was a Bumpy Road.

A shame, that’s what this season has all amounted to, but it was never doomed to fail, especially after the fantastic second season.

Season 3 had a strong start in my opinion, in fact, it wasn’t until mid-episode 5 that it started to dwindle a little, and I’m talking narrative.

The character development of the characters took some questionable turns, it was all over the place that it made my faith this this adaptation falter, but I was sure it will come around eventually. Unfortunately, it was too late by then.

I have no issues with how the show ended, but I do have several problems with what it took to get there.

This is one of the most or the most overrated series ever!!!!!!!

The only thing that motivated me enough to watch this series was Keng's facecard but at the end that failed too. This series could have been executed way better, the storyline could have been better, it had a lot of loopholes and lets not start with the acting and the chemistry between the actors. It felt like all the actors were plucked out and put in the same screen side by side. The overall chemistry and stage presence was very stiff and awkward. It had no build up or development at all. Never realized when the main characters fell in love, it was just meh. It was below average in every aspects and if i could use only word to describe this series it would be stiff. The only team related to this show that did a very good job was the PR team . The reason i gave any rating to the rewatch value section because i had to .
The last nc scene between the main actors felt like a teacher grooming a student.

A Sweet and Heartwarming Sequel

Pit Babe Season 2 is such a heartwarming continuation of Pitt and Babe’s love story. Their chemistry feels softer, deeper, and even more sincere this season. Babe’s growth is so sweet to watch, and Pitt’s steady love makes every scene feel comforting. The moments between them the small smiles, gentle touches, and honest conversations truly stand out. The supporting characters add charm, the visuals are pretty, and the story stays light but emotional in all the right ways. Overall, it’s a sweet, feel-good BL that leaves you smiling after every episode.

LOVING these Korean-Japanese Dramas with a great plot and cast!!

After watching and absolutely LOVING What Comes After Love last year, I was pleasantly surprised to find another Korean-Japanese pairing-- and on Netflix at that.
The overall story may seem cliche with the "I can't touch anyone but you" fixation, but having both leads suffer from a mental illness seems to be the point. Two people going through struggles and overcoming, or at least learning to cope with, them in healthy ways. Obviously for both characters, forming a deep connection with a significant other is a major difficulty, so honestly it was really cute seeing how they go from partners of sorts to lovers.
The visual appeal was great, but of course I expected nothing less from a Netflix production. The chocolate-making intro that changes each episode was beautiful as was the more metaphorical transition of the evolving relationships.
I am always a sucker for fast-paced romance, as a hopeless romantic, but in this case the trust they form was so meaningful I quite enjoyed the way the writers had them form a tentative bond at first.
Nothing too serious or deep, given that it's only 8 episodes, but still a great drama. 🍫💝

Short but not that inspired

This is a short drama that I found somewhat mediocre. It’s got a little silliness to it, but I wasn’t that amused and I don’t think it’s meant to be a comedy. I’d say it’s a straightforward romance story.

The FL is a goddess jumped into a mortal body. She is sassy, has attitude, and stands up to bullying, but unfortunately she lost all her powers so she’s physically not that strong. She’s likable enough, I guess.

I’d consider Change Feng and Fu An to be ML and SML, if only because they both like the FL. What’s more unusual is that they share one body- you sometimes have to guess who’s currently present in said body, based on bearing, attitude, and voice. I think the actor did a pretty good job, but sometimes I guessed wrong.

The two of them have very different personalities and separate consciousness. I never fully figured out how it works or what’s going on, but they are definitely different people. Yet even with distinct personalities, I didn’t have too many opinions about them. Just not that emotionally invested.

The falling in love part is rather abrupt and I’m not sure when, how, or why it happened. I think there is a half-assed attempt at enemies to lovers. I did like watching the ML all flirty after they get together, and they have pretty good chemistry, it’s just that the relationship is not built on much. There is the SML sadly pining on the side but nobody seems to care.

The show is a little confusing and chaotic at the beginning, but they do manage to convey enough necessary information to follow along. Considering its length, it was actually less choppy and rushed than I expected. It ends up being fairly straightforward; the FL’s mission is not that complicated, and there aren’t too many twists and turns. I actually never quite figured out what was going on with the sacred fruit, but in the meantime, there are some evil humans to counter and defeat. There is even a “touching backstory” that gets revealed, but it’s too short and underdeveloped for me to really care.

At 8 min x 20 episodes, I was excited to be able to binge an entire show in one evening. But after seeing what I got, I think I should have just picked a well-rated movie instead. It’s not bad for mindless entertainment, but afterwards I didn’t feel great- it felt like I’d just watched a couple hours of filler.

And right, the subtitles are not good and can create confusion. Knowing some Chinese is definitely helpful. The subs aren’t the worst I’ve seen, and the wording is not the most difficult; just some knowledge of conversational Chinese, paired with the English and Chinese subs, should be enough.

ENDING – READ AHEAD ONLY IF YOU WANT TO KNOW, CONTAINS SPOILERS

I think this is a happy ending, but I’m not totally sure what happened. The ML dies, and apparently the FL gives up immortality (poor sifu, guess she doesn’t care about never seeing him again). I think this act somehow revives the ML, though the terms of this deal are unclear and for some reason it takes a chance meeting for them to reunite.

I have no idea what happens to the other guy in his body. I guess he is supposed to live.

its so good! Its a super slow burn with a simmering unraveling story and intrigue

Its full of mystery and a slowly revealing story and character identity. There is no horror as the ghost elements are only supernatural for the purpose of the story. Yai is clinging onto the past since the tragedy of his lover dying suddenly makes him unable to move on. Kaewta, a traditional Thai dancer is reborn and finds himself back in the white house where Yai resides as a bodyless ghost unable to be detected by Kaewta for the time being. Yai is possessive and quick to anger when Kaewta shows affection to others.

The story so far is good and progressive, if you don't like a slow burn then maybe skip this, there are definably steamy scenes to come. The traditional Thai dancing is beautiful! There are some sensual moments which are executed beautifully.

ep 6 edit:
omg it was quite something seeing the corpses preserved together :O This is an interestingly unique BL. Both BillyBabe projects experimented with interesting concepts, I'm intrigued and loving the mystery and pace of this, it is not following the traditional route where the couple get together around the halfway mark and instead dives deeper into their past and present relationship. I wonder how this will be resolved since one of them is a ghost.

Unfinished Business.

Blood River/暗河传 ushers in a new era for Beili’s mysterious and powerful assassin's guild Anhe/暗河 or Dark River. A spin-off in Zhuo Munan’s shared universe, it peels back the curtain on the legendary shadow force that lurks behind Dashing Youth (少年白马醉春风) and The Blood of Youth (少年歌行). The tale ignites when Anhe’s long-reigning Patriarch is grievously injured and poisoned, unleashing a vicious succession struggle. Two prodigies, Su Muyu and Su Changhe, are thrust into leadership. As they seize the reins and wrestle free of their shadow masters, they discover that “going legit” is a blood-soaked tightrope.

What hooks me hardest is the drumbeat insistence that Anhe must forge its own fate, not remain someone else’s concealed sharpest blade. That single theme slices straight to what I dislike most about Zhuo Munan—and the whole crop of self-styled “new wuxia” authors—stamping their seal on the genre. Real jianghu, the martial world at its molten core, is anti-establishment: outlaws and exiles who swear by their own code, patriotic yet allergic to any throne. In Zhuo’s realm, however, these legendary warriors morph into palace guard dogs for a dynasty that’s rotten, amoral, and utterly undeserving of their spilled blood. Blood River is the lone exception where the author finally gets it; it’s the only one of his works I’ll crown true wuxia in the classic sense.

The opening succession arc is pure lightning. Su Muyu clings to his oath to shield the fading Patriarch, pitting him against sworn brother Su Changhe’s hunger for a quick, clean coup. Changhe’s ambition burns naked; Muyu’s conscience is the thin leash. The script keeps spotlighting their clashing creeds yet repeatedly yanks the rug before the inevitable clash, letting plot contrivances dodge the showdown. Still, every sidestep plants seeds that bloom in The Blood of Youth, leaving a ghost of unfinished business between them. They’re magnetic characters shackled by a writer who chose to avoid conflict to tell the safe, crowd-pleasing story. That is all well and good but as a result, their character stories are not fully realised; the tension and conflict in their values never comes to a head.

I adore the pitch-black premise, but the drama starves its leads of the crackling personality and bromance that turned The Blood of Youth into legend. Writing Su Muyu as a stoic and boring slab is a fatal misstep; it’s a role that doesn't leave much for anyone to work with, let alone Gong Jun, whose acting is still a work in progress. He does not share a natural rapport with Chang Huasen and their bromance never establishes solid footing because of Muyu's vapid, and forced romance with Bai Hehuai. Romance is already not this writer's forte and it is made worse by the casting of an actress with the screen presence of Muyu's limp, overcooked noodles. Gong Jun’s voice work is serviceable whereas Chang Huasen is elevated by a stellar dubber and gains a depth and menace that Gong Jun's flat delivery can’t match. The saving grace? Supporting firecrackers—Li Daikun’s diabolical yet weirdly sympathetic Mu Ciling (my ride-or-die), plus the grizzled Patriarch, cunning Su Zhe, steadfast Lord Langya, and Spiderwoman Mu Yumu.

The drama could have told a much tighter story had it bowed out after the power struggle or the Swordless City arc. At that point, it is a natural parting of ways as it is clear that Muyu and Changhe are on different paths. Stretching further turns Muyu into a rudderless ghost; his dream to reclaim his name and rebuild Swordless City evaporates without a whisper. He becomes everyone else’s errand boy—doctor's assistant, failed chef, Changhe’s glorified wingman to ferry Anhe to the “Other Shore.” In a gut-punch twist, Changhe goes solo with his own hidden agenda and is never held accountable by Muyu for abandoning Anhe at its darkest hour. It mirrors Lord Langya surrendering the throne to an unworthy heir, then looking over his shoulder to keep catastrophe at bay instead of living the life of adventure in jianghu with the love of his life that he gave up the throne for. In a similar vein, Muyu is tied to Changhe and his vision and ambitions for Anhe.

The finale lands realistic, bittersweet, hopeful—yet screams that the villains quietly won. Like the story itself, the jaw-dropping fight choreography peaks in the first half and the sequences feel repetitive in the latter arcs. The writer’s boast that Muyu and Changhe wield true agency is as laughable as the handy twelve-year antidote to puppet poison.

Verdict: A damn fine wuxia that still feels half-told. 8.5/10.

The chemistry between these two is chef’s kiss

*Edit*
This show fell apart for me about half way through. The work drama side was really boring. And the chemistry between these two fizzled away. By the end of this drama I left feeling *meh* towards it all. A forgettable show.
*End edit*

I knew going into this putting Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-Jin together you couldn’t go wrong with.

My dearest showcased the depth of Eun-jin ‘s acting skills and solidified her as being one of my favorites.

I first saw Ki-yong in Atypical Family but really fell in love with him in My Roommate Is A Gumiho. His kiss scenes are some of the best I’ve seen.

I rewound several scenes from Dynamite Kiss just for the pure chemistry between these too and to see more of Ki-yong’s perfect kissing. Also, if you’ve never seen him smile…you’re missing out on life.

So far from what I’ve seen I would HIGHLY recommend this drama if you like rom-coms.

Truly bittersweet ....

we get a strong start , great music and great acting .
luo yun xi truly did a brilliant job playing tang lici and conveying such complex emotion maybe that's what kept me going , we get to see a strong and cunning character yet emotional , even though tang lici denied having emotions a lot of time during the series but you can clearly see it , born to kill and allowed to feel or do anything except for becoming strong , he gets a chance to turn everything around after escaping from his realm , the time he spent at zhoudi tower truly shaped what he became in the end .

liu yan was well portrayed by allen feng , for a misunderstanding " thinking tang lici kill feng zhou on purpose " he was hell bent on killing tang lici and avenging feng zhou yet you can see through the drama he was hesitant at some points during the drama , but couldn't get why he would believe ghostly peony over tnag lici his friend ?? even after tang lici told him the truth he still doubted it .

zhong chunji truly annoying during the whole drama , you don't know her motives , indecisive and coward , you would hate her more as the drama goes , especially after she falsely become the princess , she will do anything for power lie , hurt her friends , she didn't even try to help her shifu we he was killed in front of her maybe she was less powerful than ghostly peony and xifeng tao still at least she could have said something when they were falsely accusing tang lici .

xaoshi was a surprise for me , didn't expect him to be ye mo .
a shui what was her role exactly , don't know what was the purpose of such character , maybe to keep tang lici alive in the first half ? a very forgettable role for me

finally , the finale was a bit lacking , although everything is reversed and everyone is back , wished tang lici returned or at least they remembered him , after what they have been through . everyone got his happy ending except tang lici , what a pity .
