beautiful story , great actors , great styling

I loved this one , at first I was sceptical but after just few minutes Ioved it . Ml an Fl did a great job , acting was great , the chemistry awesome , there were a few Kisses but overall the appeal was built from the first minute and it lasted . It is a slow burn romance , but not in the convencional way. He protected her and supported her and she did the same for him .

Ml - as expected great. I think he is the only C actor who can wear suits and style like this and you don't get your eyes sore 😅 he makes it believable and you want more 😅

Fl - I liked the transformation , from a weak cute girl to a fierce woman , but it wasn't forced , it was slow and enjoyable . The second Role you could see a slightly difference , well done.

Scenery was nice sometimes even beautiful , and the oppening and few last scenes -I loved it !

There was no "standard" kidnapping , the " SFL" had just a few minutes and was easy to deal and the helper of the ml -great actor, loved him to.

I am deffinetely going rewatch it and enjoy it .

Reallyyyyy enjoyable, with a few small bumps.

I loved it! War's (Joker) acting is really good in this.

One of the biggest issues I have with so many BL's is that the "drama" aspects feel forced or it doesn't make sense. Jack & Joker really doesn't have that problem. All the conflicts that happen throughout don't feel like a random ball thrown at you where you go "What? Where'd that come from?"

I do think they have some parts of the story that are somewhat rushed; the beginning for instance, (if you haven't watched it, don't read this part) I think they could've made a bit more to better explain why Joker would turn himself in. To me, it kinda felt like something to "get out of the way" so they could do the 5 year skip.

The only other part I wasn't the biggest fan of was the "games" aspect of the Four Horsemen. It created good scenes, don't get me wrong! I just didn't understand the point of it fully.

Besides those 2 things, this has become one of my "lists of recommended BL's," this show is absolutely a need-to watch by BL fans. Amazing acting, great characters, amazing scenes. And you know it's good when you cry your eyes out!

Dual cultivation took place

Aaaand it's yet another banger from director Xi Zi. I love tragic phoenix boys since a certain xianxia I will not name to avoid spoilers (bonus points when the FL is constantly screaming her phoenix lover's name while said phoenix is busy sacrificing himself for her for the umpteenth time) and also have a big softspot for pariah heroïnes, so this was right up my alley. I wasn't very convinced at first, the girl's obviously fake red wig was distracting and I found the opening a bit much (FL jumps from a deadly trap to another, to yet another, with no break) but from the moment the "dual cultivation took place" I was in. When he starts being summoned when she sneezes, I knew this was going to be a favorite. The aesthetic of the show won't be to everyone's taste, they were aiming for ambitious fantasy with limited means, but I grew to love it. They did achieve an ethereal, mystical atmosphere, and the charming newcomer actors were fairy-like, looking the part of mystical creatures out of a storybook. The plot was a bit all over the place but it never lost me, and I was enthralled until the very adorable ending (best groom attire ever by the way, can we have all male leads get married bare chested with painted skin from now on ?). Kisses were plentiful which made me a happy camper. Yes please, and I want more.

Not A Must-Watch

Love the actors but I did not like this story at all. I thought it would've been like Vice Versa or even See You Again, and I was ready to cry every moment of this series like I did for those. I was really excited because of that. I saw it was 9.5/10 on iQIYI, and I'm confused now.
Like, they threw a ball, and it was aimed at the goal... then they came along and whacked it into the crowd. This could've been soooo good!
A stalker situation?? really? I was confused for a bit, then I started to understand everything, then they throw the whole stalker thing. Which, I honestly think was to create a "hurdle/challenge" like how most drama's do. I seriously don't know what happened during screen writing...

I was honestly more interested in JinWim's story. I really want a show revolving around them with the concept of Jin being able to read people's minds. I hope they'll get their own series like PermBoun did!

sigh

last time i checked, lee sina has ten toes, not one toe missing, so why did she stop standing on business? like what happened? yeah no idc she needed to make him grovel more just for the insane fact that he was making her carry his stuff. idc that he wanted to spend more time with her but yeah no pls grow a spine queen u could have done so much more with him cuz she lowkey had him between her fingers at some point.

but yeah overall i love that it covered some very profound themes like suicide and grief, but yeah i think what really stood out and why i kept watching it was the redemption arc of everyone like it was truly so satisfying watching characters grow and become better. i guess it was funny at times as well

like a blooming flower

i grew up with a sister who looks exactly like me, that people usually confused us for twins. we also literally have the same personalities as mirae and miri, which made watching this with her lowkey awkward but it was so good. i cannot even begin to explain just how awesome and realistic this kdrama was. the writing was of another level, with amazing character developments and such realistic depictions of people. havent watched a kdrama this satifisfying in a long time, and it truly healed some parts of me. some angles were not it, but that's my only complaint. i guess i also wanted more from the second couple, pls that man was so hot i need more of them asap

girlhood

idk man this show was so awesome i think everyone should watch it. i spent half of it crying actually. there was so much to appreciate about this, but i will list a few that stood out to me: first, the lack of filter in the show. im in my early 20s, but i like to believe that some of what was portrayed in the show will be me soon. another thing i loved is the friendship of the women, for example, jihyun who obviously cared about her looks a lot but still jumped in every fight if it meant it would save her girls. when they all jumped the kidnapper of sohee, it was so satisfying bc they all fought for her. and i literally cried so hard in the last episode when they were coming out of the fire because ugh they really did it and saved each other and the others. the only bad thing is that there are only 10 episodes, but hey, it seems there will be another season !!!

Fun but more of a bromance

Now i know this is chinese bl, but still, the romance part was happening too slowly for my liking. They were acting more like bros than showing a romantic interest, which could've been shown without kissing, but i missed some more flirting, glances, accidental touch etc.
That being said, it was a pretty fun watch, main character is funny guy, and secondary couple was alright, with other guy being funny as well

One beef i have with chinese bl, they have the weirdest scene/ episode cuts. This show was so weird because in the middle of the scene, an episode ends. They could've easily made half of the number of the episodes if they connected 2 into one longer episode.

A Nymph’s Dance, a Night of Snow, and the Magic

If you like poetry,
and you like fairytales,
if you believe nymphs exist — and that sometimes they appear as human beings —
here comes Chaerok: the story of a nymph.

His wings were broken,
until one day an old grandpa found him and helped stretch them out again.
The nymph stayed by the grandpa’s side.

One day, he realized the grandpa was in pain —
and that his own dance held a kind of healing magic that could help him.

So the nymph began to dance.
One cold night, as snowflakes fell and the lights glowed softly,
he danced and danced for the grandpa —
and in that moment… he healed him.

And then, we realize how precious his magic truly is.

Love in the Clouds—and your heart says yes.

The story moves with confidence, tension tightens at the right moments, and a handful of neat twists keep the air lively. The action pops—well-timed, nimble, and boosted by beautiful CGI that that isn't overdone. Furthermore, the romance lands softly. Light, humorous, thoughtful dialogue carries the love scenes, and the OST folds around them like a warm echo, pulling genuine feeling to the surface.

Set against a shimmering fantasy world, the relationship between Ji Bo Zai and Ming Yi begins in deception and matures into truth. It’s simple and fun, yet honest enough to linger—helped greatly by Lu Yu Xiao, whose turn as an irresistibly youthful heroine makes falling for this couple feel effortless.

It all crescendos toward a finale that satisfies without overreaching. A gentle, glowing ending to a tale that earns its warmth.

Yes, I fall in love too!

Marks a turning point for me in the Chinese BL landscape

It is the first Chinese production to bring together all the elements with outstanding quality: a well-structured and well-paced plot, an ideal number of episodes that allows for development without filler, convincing performances, and impeccable overall production.

I was fascinated by the sensitivity with which they approached the emotional universe of the characters. The exploration of their feelings, conflicts, and insecurities was deep and real, earning a score of 10 from me in this regard. I also highlight the success in handling intimacy; scenes of sexual tension were present but did not fall into gratuitousness or heaviness, instead contributing to the story and the development of the relationship.

In a context where BL productions in China face challenges, 'Revenged Love' demonstrates the immense creative potential that exists. I just hope there will be greater openness for these types of stories to continue to be produced, because China has everything it takes to become a leader in the genre.

It was a pleasant surprise.

It's the kind of drama that captivates you with its aesthetic beauty and keeps you engaged with a plot that, without being overly complex, manages to connect. The effects are very well done, believable, and integrate perfectly with the narrative. But where the drama truly shines is in its art direction. The costumes are absolutely marvelous; every detail of the clothing reflects the personalities of the characters, demons, and the era. The acting is quite passable. The cast performs well, conveying the emotions needed to make the story believable and enjoyable to follow. This is one of its greatest strengths. It's a story that flows without falling into unnecessary drama, exaggerated sadness, or frustrating complications.

My only "but," and it's more of a personal wish, is that I would have loved to see more of the Snake Lady's partner.

If comfort were a show, this would be it.

This is going to be a very biased take because I love this duo too much but if you are a casual viewer and just want to watch a show that makes you relax, a little bewildered but mostly warm and happy this is it.

Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung are adorable together. The whole of BTS is always chaos incarnate and you find plenty of that here too, but it's also serene. Jimin and Jungkook chemistry and friendship just shine so effortlessly and you can feel their genuineness in each interaction.Just strap in for banter, food ,lots of laughs, their inside jokes, food, spontaneous play acts and basically everything that makes BTS and Jikook so addictive. ( Did I mention food? I kid you not I had to sit down with a whole course meal with each new episode!!)

I have been coming back to this show every time I miss them and now with season 2 premiering soon, I thought it was a good time to rewatch again. And it's just as precious to me as it was the first time I watched it, maybe even more so. I am really thankful that they decided to make this show and let us tag along!

What a great drama!

I loved it for its rawness and for not being afraid to show a realistic and harsh plot. The performances of the entire cast were absolutely impeccable. The way they handled the cards and time throughout the story was brilliant.

I found the ending so sad, but at the same time so fitting. That's why, although I don't give it full marks, it's only because the outcome is so bitter for the children... However, if you think about it, for the protagonists, who suffered their entire lives, it was definitely a happy and liberating ending. Highly recommended!

Take all the classic ingredients of the Xianxia in a fresh and highly entertaining.

From the first episode, the high quality of the production is evident. The costumes are marvelous, full of detail and color, which greatly helps immerse you in the story. The special effects are very well done, believable, and add a spectacular touch to the action and magic scenes without seeming over-the-top.

Chen Feiyu, besides having an imposing presence and being very handsome, brings his character to life with the necessary depth. But the revelation for me was Wang Yinglu. It was the first time I saw her act, and I was enchanted. She is very beautiful, and her performance was excellent; she managed to make her character comprehensible, not at all heavy, and gave it just the right touch of charisma and strength. And the fact that her character came from the "outside world" and uttered modern phrases the other characters didn't understand created some very comedic moments and a unique dynamic. This clever contrast added a novel twist to the typical xianxia plot. The romance was one of the story's pillars and was very well developed. The chemistry between the protagonists was palpable, and it was appreciated that they weren't shy with their displays of affection. The kisses (and there were plenty of them) were a success, believable, and satisfying for those of us looking for a good love story.

If I had to point to something that left me with a bittersweet taste, it would be the ending. While it's emotional and brings the main arc to a close, I would have liked to see more of their reunion in "normal life." A slightly longer scene showing how they begin their new life together, after so much suffering, would have been the perfect, well-rounded conclusion. I was left longing for a more detailed epilogue.
