I’m honestly not ready for this show to be over . I’m ready for the episode but this is such captivating story that I hate to see go . Hopefully we get more netjj soon. This story has had me in a chokehold for the longest . Love how you can connect with the characters and the story . As the story progressed, his performance became even stronger and more impactful. He added depth to Klao/Nakhun, making the character feel real and relatable. His emotional scenes were especially impressive...they felt raw, sincere, and deeply moving. You could clearly see the growth in his acting, and it made every moment more engaging to watch. His screen presence and chemistry also played a big role in making the story more enjoyable and memorable.
What I appreciated the most was how JJ connected with the audience. He made it easy to feel every emotion his character went through, whether it was happiness, pain, or love. By the end, I wasn’t comparing him to anyone anymore... I was simply enjoying his performance for what it was. JJ truly proved that he was the perfect choice for the role of Klao/Nakhun, and his performance left a strong impression on me. Overall, I really loved watching him and felt that he did complete justice to the character .... Lots of love to Netjj ❤️🫶

Net’s character really stands out to me. You can clearly see how lost he is, and the way he craves love feels so real and painful at the same time. It makes you understand him more, even when he’s struggling.
Latte and Kim… this part really hurts. Latte knows that Kim loves him, yet he keeps playing with Kim’s feelings. It’s frustrating but also so emotional to watch. You can feel Kim’s heartbreak more and more, and it honestly made me so sad.
Also, this is my first time watching JJ, and I’m really impressed. He’s cute, funny, and natural—but at the same time, he delivers the emotional scenes so well.
Overall, I’m really enjoying Love Upon a Time so far. The chemistry, the emotions, and the storyline are all so captivating. If you haven’t started it yet, you should definitely give it a try!

Important noted for this drama
Please watch at least 2–3 episodes before judging this drama. Don't pay attention to the hate comments, as some of them come from people who dislike the actor and don't want the drama to succeed.You might think it's a little silly at first, but trust me, it's incredibly good and addictive. I've watched each episode more than five times already because I can't get enough of it! 😊

Good but not the best. The drama was basically spammed 10s to raise the rating
I am a huge sucker for historical dramas. It may be straight or BL and this is probably on the bottom on the list. Now that doesn't mean this is bad. It's an above average show. Pretty good just not the best. After having a 7.2 during the initial episodes fans basically spammed 10s to raise it's rating but yeah 8.5 is reasonable.I started this show cz i saw edits on the trailer and it looked sooo good but then the 1st few episodes. Especially ep 1 were disastrous. With JJ just screaming for no damn reason in ep 1. I really wanted to drop it but then i didn't wanna judge it too fast and fans were like give it a chance and that's how i ended up chucking netjj on dmd 2. Well I think I hated this drama till ep 5. I literally forced myself to watch it cz it was soo confusing and the whole time travel thing felt pointless along with the drama on its own. But later it improved. The drama got much more engaging, interesting and JJs acting also improved. But i felt they should have distributed the plot a bit throughout the series instead of revealing everything in the last 15 mins of the drama. I personally wanted a few more episodes in the modern era but yeah they pretty much tie up all the lose ends although a little late.
Coming to our pairs netjj and lattekim.
Netjj - as someone who has watched and loved bed friend I wasn't very convinced that NetJJ would work on screen. But they work just fine🤭 there are times where both are on absolute different wavelengths and not in sync when it comes to acting but i think they will get a hang of it as they work together. They definitely did a great job and u could see they're comfortable with each other.
LatteKim - I've liked Latte in dmd1 and i didn't know he got a partner and such a pretty one at that. I was pleasantly surprised and loved it. I literally waited for them the whole series our precious JomKaew❤️❤️❤️. I've got 0 complaints with them. They did an amazing job.
2 of my fav scenes are related to them. 1 is the scene where the bowl in the painting gets fixed in the last ep and 2nd could be TutorYim's cameo n Jom's trauma 🤌🤌🤌🤌 i went from hating jom to loving him.
Overall yep it's good u can watch it.

When this drama first started, I wasn’t sure it would keep my full attention, but thankfully I was wrong. While some actors didn’t quite match the chemistry of their co-stars, the overall experience was still enjoyable. Setting aside the silliness of Klao’s character and focusing on the drama, beautiful cinematography, and traditional attire made it easy to overlook his antics. I loved how even a simple scene like bathing in a historical setting became an OMG moment. The series also touched on the opium crisis in history and its devastating effects, which added depth. It covered everything I find fascinating about Thai culture.
My favorite characters were:
🔥🔥🔥 Phop (past and present – excellent acting)
🌻🌻🌻 Kaew (past and present – gorgeous and talented)
*** Jom (past and present)
Credit to the screenwriters May Piangpaitoon Satrawaha and Porndee Satrawaha for their excellent work. My only drawback was the casting; while many Thai dramas pair established couples, sometimes one actor excels at expressions while the other lacks subtlety or overacts, which can break the scene’s ambiance. For me, the lead pairings here were just mediocre, so I couldn’t rate it higher than 9/10.

“Lowkey Watched It… Highkey Not Over It ”
Drama Review – Love Upon A TimeOkay… say less, this drama is actually such a good watch 😭✨
Here’s what stood out to me:
1. Cinematography 🎥✨
The lighting and warm tones were so pretty. Like… it just had this soft, dreamy ancient vibe that I couldn’t get enough of 😌 I was lowkey staring at the screen sometimes.
2. Plot 👀
It’s mysterious in a nice way. Not too heavy, but enough to keep you curious. I kept going “okay wait… what’s going on?” in a good way 😭
3. Visuals 😍
Everyone looked SO good. Like… respectfully, I was staring 👀✨ The styling really did its job.
4. Main Leads 💫
Yeah… I’m not okay 🧍♀️ Their chemistry was just so nice. It felt natural but also had that little spark that makes you smile for no reason 😭💗.
5. Second Couple 😶
I wanted to feel it more, I really did 😭 but something felt a bit off. Maybe I was just too invested in the main couple at that point.
6. Traditional Elements 🌿✨
The way they carried the traditional aspect of the series is honestly a must-watch. The Thai cultural beauty was shining throughout the drama, and it gave everything such a warm, comforting feel 😌
Final thought:
It’s such an easy, enjoyable watch… and yeah, I might have gotten a little attached 😭✨

10/10 — One of my favorite BLs of 2026 so far
The Ayutthaya setting is SOOO stunning and feels incredibly alive, the time-travel mystery actually has weight to it and keeps me thinking every week, and NetJJ’s chemistry is honestly insane. Phop going from being suspicious of “Klao” to becoming deeply protective and soft for him felt so natural and satisfying to watch. Nothing about their relationship feels forced at all.And the NC scenes? Not just hot, but genuinely romantic and intimate too, (especially that Ep. 8 scene Lol) . I also love all the historical details, plus the emotional depth and how smoothly they handled the identity swap storyline.
The production quality is top-tier: gorgeous costumes, beautiful cinematography, and strong acting from everyone. This drama seriously made me laugh, cry, blush, and impatiently wait for Fridays every single week. Fridays are officially my favorite day now. Already craving a rewatch before it’s even over, and I’m so excited for the modern reunion.
NetJJ & LatteKim really delivered everything I didn’t know I needed. Absolute comfort + excitement in one drama. They truly killed it 🔥

So gooddd, im gonna repeat2 many time for thissss, the storyy, the scene, the sad scenee, all the scene so good, im so impressed for net and jj, their acting on the topp, i hopee happy endingg ,even we know ,p'phop gonna have sad ending ...
