Well written, exceptional acting and aesthetically pleasing
If you're looking for cliche childish and stupid romcom this isn't for you and please don't bother dropping your 2 cents here coz you're not qualified to do so.First off the cinematography is top notch felt like I'm watching a movie with solid backing.
The casting is great and these actors' work is really admirable not just the leads but also the supporting cast.
The soundtrack is also pleasing and apt.
It's well paced there seems some cuts but overall nothing too hasty or too slow so it keeps you hooked.
One thing I prolly complain would be the abrupt endings at each episode but dat would prolly because it's meant to be binged?
It's just 5 EPs now but from what I've seen I'm giving it an A+

Quite a surprise
I'm new to C-Dramas and only watch romance dramas. However, I think this also fits the "slice of life" genre as well. I didn't know what to expect from it, but wow, was I pleasantly surprised! I've never seen the ML or FL in a drama yet, and they were wonderful. They did a terrific job in their roles, especially the ML, Li Xian! He was able to portray being aloof, compassionate, anger, deeply in love, deeply hurt, etc. so well. It really is a perfect romance drama. It's about families facing challenges together, putting others first (as it should be), compromising, fulfilling goals and dreams, and most importantly to me. . . realizing that as wonderful as it is to have a fulfilling and accomplished career, at the end of the day, it's double the enjoyment out of life if you have someone to share it with. A line that was said during this drama that I copied and will use into the future:". . . a relationship that leaves no trace of existence won't help anyone grow." Wow. So true, one of the messages in this drama is don't just live for today, but work on relationships that will last a lifetime.

At last a well rounded Chinese drama
It has got to be one one of the best Chinese drama I've ever watched. Maturity, finesse, sensitivity. It got it all. And the casting was perfection. Each and every one of them inhabited their role, never betraying the character and so much balance in portraying these stories about love, ambition, death, loneliness, aging, family etc.This drama is a gem.

Finally two grown ups interacting like adults and loving like adults
One oerson mentiined that this story is too “preachy” … thats is true…ML works as main person in a funeral home… so he is confronted with desth everyday… and of course, this influences the narrative of the show… sometimes a bit melancholic but overall quite sweet…
So… finally a story where the FL speaks normally, acts like a woman, and lives like a modern, working individual, with goals and dreams… she jokes, talks, like a normal woman,,, no dead fish kiss or fake ones… much appreciated for that…
Story is kind of slow pace, but nice…
FL and ML have history together from the past.. and they reconnect… leading to flirting, friendship and falling in love… in a very realistic manner.
The interactions with their family and friends are very normal… you learn quickly to like them…
She is flawed… he is temperamental…. Discussions, break ups, reconciliations are part of their relationship, which is very real.
Some people found her too selfish and he too accommodating…. There is a bit of truth, but slowly you see her change… not perfect but it is there.
Chemistry is pretty good… in the little details…
Overall, I recommend it… 21 ep x 30 mins goes super fast

Absolutely amazing drama!
This drama is hands down the best Cdrama for 2024 so far. Everything about this drama is top notch. The actors are doing such an amazing job and the chemistry is off the hook. I love how the story develops and how secondary characters are fleshed out. You come to understand each characters flaws and motivations. The cinematography has been so beautiful and the OST one of the best I’ve heard. I look forward to each episode and love the slice of life story. Don’t miss it!!Was this review helpful to you?
IT FEELS ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE
This drama has already won me over with just three episodes I can tell it's going to be amazing...I love how the story isn't told in a fast paced nor slow paced way but rather it's told in a way that's perfectly paced enough to allow you to connect to it and to the characters.
The acting feels subtle yet impactful...and I must say the characters are so far well written..you can tell that each has personality and purpose to add to the plot.
The cinematography makes me feel like am watching a movie and not a series...it's relaxing and warm.....and the direction makes you feel the warmth.
The osts aren't over the top but each creates an everlasting impact on the scene.
I love how the characters backgrounds so far and their stories are kept hidden Ofcourse to be revealed with time....it's intruiging.
Iam looking forward to the romance between the leads because ain't no doubt even with the minimal interactions they have amazing chemistry.
This review is for the first three episodes and I'll be upgrading it with time.
So far this drama brings back the warmth I received from dramas like meet yourself, the forbidden flower, Sunshine by your side, nothing but you( 2023) and my marvellous fable.

Little bit difficult to understand
The drama covers several themes. Firstly, it sheds light on the profession of funeral makeup artists, a profession I wasn't familiar with due to my cultural background. In my religion, the family members are responsible for preparing the deceased for burial, which includes bathing the body, combing their hair, and dressing them, if a married woman die so she will be dress up like a bride . However, I found it interesting to learn about this profession through the drama, although I couldn't fully relate to it.In my religion it is true that those who are a part of funeral procession will take shower first as soon as they reach their home then only they touch the things and people.
So here lead actor told that people never touch us .so I understand this . And it is very hard to marry such a person who always surrounded by dead body .
However, the repetitive depiction of funerals made the drama feel somewhat monotonous.
Secondly, the drama emphasized the inevitability of death and the need to accept it. Despite the support and encouragement from others, those who have experienced loss find it difficult to come to terms with reality.
I found the personality of the female lead character somewhat irksome at times, and the slow pace of the drama tested my patience.

Best Drama I’ve Ever Watched
I’ve watched or attempted to watch a LOT of dramas over the year but never wanted to write a review until now. My first ever.When you take two talented lead actors (Li Xian and Zhou Yutong), add excellent secondary characters that do not take the screen time away from the leads, a really good storyline, sprinkle in some breathtakingly beautiful cinematography, mix in some wonderful music, with electrifying chemistry between the leads that feels too natural and makes you smile from ear to ear, add a dash of warmth and a lot of heart you get this pure gem of a drama call Will Love in Spring!
I can honestly go on and on about how incredible this drama is. I’m now a big fan of Li Xian and Zhou Yutong. They made me cry, laugh and swoon. Their chemistry is so pure and everything I could ask for and more. This is how it’s done my friend. Their hugs and kisses made me melt. After watching episode 21, I just kept staring at my screen and wishing there were 100 more episodes to watch.
Zhuang Jie said the town and Chen Maidong are like a heartwarming soup. This drama was like that to me. Not only was it heartwarming, it made me think and made me feel so much. Thank you to the cast and everyone involved. All I can say is Well Done!! I could shout from a rooftop for everyone to watch this!!

Its too boring ?
Guys this isn't my cup of tea. It's to boring and too slow. Too much depressing drama. ML is a funeral guy and FL is specially abled. The drama revolves around mysery and no good vibes.i am a fan of rom com so this isn't working for me. I dropped it when FLs stepfather died. It was too sad to continue. I skipped alot of drama so i was not able to finish it. If you are looking for something refreshing so don't watch this.. its too boring that i started feeling sleepy and sad 😔. Lavoro introspettivo di grande spessore
Un cdrama complesso, delicato, con dialoghi di una profondità rara. Non ci sono grossi colpi di scena ma realistico perché narra la vita e protagonista é la resilienza dei protagonisti. É un lavoro lento riflessivo sulla vita e le sue difficoltà, limiti dati dalla disabilità , sull’amicizia e sulla morte.Se volete storie d’amore coinvolgenti, passione, colpi di scena scegliete altro.

Casting: dai protagonisti principali ai ruoli secondari hanno fatto un buon lavoro e hanno diretto tutti benissimo.
Li Xian (Mai Dong) - È freddo, serio, inibito, non sorride mai e nasconde totalmente la propria emotività, è un tanatoprattore, il migliore che ci sia. Della sua professione ha abbracciato totalmente le aspirazioni fino a farne una vocazione: accompagnare i morti nel loro ultimo viaggio con cura e premura in modo che le loro anime abbiano un viaggio sereno.
Grazie a questo lavoro ho conosciuto la figura del tanatoprattore: La rappresentazione della gestione delle persone care degli altri mi fa apprezzare coloro che compiono queste azioni. Questi artisti sono sullo sfondo, difficilmente considerati, riconosciuti ma è sicuramente un lavoro apprezzabile e di nobile sensibilità.
Zhou Tong (Z Jie) - È senza filtri, sfacciata,spigliata, estroversa , volitiva e capace nel lavoro e in quello a cui si dedica, Ha un handicap con una protesi agli arti inferiori ma non le impedisce di perseguire i suoi sogni e di lottare per realizzarsi, professionalmente e sentimentalmente.
La scrittura è molto buona. I dialoghi sono il pezzo forte di questo lavoro. Così tanti punti toccanti sulla vita. Ti fa davvero riflettere. FL aveva molte insicurezze e ci sono alcune parti in cui può sembrare persino eccessivamente fuori luogo e priva di ogni umana sensibilità però è anche una donna ferita che sa spiegare e motivare e ha anche una grande consapevolezza dei suoi vissuti e quelli degli altri personaggi.
La coppia si forma con difficoltà ma in modo molto credibile , la loro evoluzione personale è davvero notevole e questo rende possibile il superamento dei limiti che non consentivano alla coppia di crearsi.
Questo lavoro non illustra solo la vita, i rapporti, la disabilità, la morte ma anche la Cina moderna e i suoi contrasti, la sua doppia faccia e la ricerca del proprio posto nel mondo e i compromessi per integrarsi e vivere i rapporti significativi. E' un viaggio di formazione della FL. Ci sono così tanti sviluppi ponderati . "La vita è piena di destinazioni diverse. Alla fine andrai nella tomba".
I dialoghi , a differenza di molti altri lavori, sono profondi e introspettivi. Mi hanno aiutato a comprendere e rispettare e normalizzare l'evento della morte, inserendolo in un ciclo vitale e ho definitivamente assunto un atteggiamento di rassegnata serenità . Pochi lavori sono in grado di allentare l'ansia che proviamo quando parliamo di fine, morte, abbandono, chiusura, questo almeno personalmente lo ha fatto.
Tratta anche il tema della disabilità, c'è un discorso meraviglioso che la FL fa al ML, terapeutico, per la qualità curativa e la forza di resilienza che viene trasmessa , lei non vuole pietà dagli altri, chi vuole pietà e riconoscimento della propria difficoltà esprime solo la propria debolezza e un'insicurezza quasi infantile .
E qui mi viene in mente la figura del fratello, che cerca la propria strada e il proprio posto nel mondo, è un ragazzo con ambizioni diverse, nel proprio percorso di maturazione è diviso tra le richieste delle società e le sue aspirazioni totalmente incomprese. Sa che vuole prendersi cura di qualcosa, di qualcuno, anche semplicemente di un'oca che ha un valore simbolico importante, non a caso è un simbolo solare, associato alla vita, alla creazione e alla rinascita (e di questo parla il lavoro).
Molto spesso sia vittime di risentimento per il mancato riconoscimento delle nostre difficoltà e invece dovremmo concentrarci più sulla vita e sull'esistenza, non abbiamo bisogno di "fuffa concettualoide". Gli adulti sono adulti per autonomia e responsabilità, è infantile cercare un occhio che comprenda e ti tratti da malata per le tue difficoltà, così come è assolutamente infantile un riscatto o che qualcuno ti chieda scusa per i torti che hai subito. Io l'ho trovato illuminante.
Altro tema delicato e toccante che viene proposto : l'amicizia, vera, forte e sincera, quella tra la nonna del protagonista e l'amica di una vita, come affrontare la partenza e come vivere i rapporti dopo la fine.
Io l'ho trovato un lavoro , sicuramente non spassoso, ma bello: con una sceneggiatura eccezionale, una forza , una delicatezza, una bravura da parte di tutti gli attori e un grande significato. Certo se si cerca la storia d'amore il titolo è fuorviante , se si vuole staccare il cervello ed evitare di pensare meglio optare su qualche mini serie stupidotta basata sui web toon ma ogni tanto guardare qualcosa di diverso e riflettere e lasciarsi trasformare da quanto si vede non è male.
Questo dramma è per i pensatori maturi. È scritto bene e recitato bene. E per quanto riguarda il romanticismo? C'è ma non è del tipo che emoziona e dà il batticuore come in molti romance ma certe scene sono di una raffinatezza unica.
Fate attenzione al commiato dei due in una notte , lui la accompagna in macchina e la guarda mentre ne studia il volto quando lei alza lo specchietto, i due si danno uno sguardo, è visibile che c'è dell'attrazione che cova sotto la brace. Poi vedremo quel calore, quelle tenerezze, quel desiderio attraverso contatti di sguardi, ricerca fisica, toccarsi, abbracci e baci. Sicuramente una moderna dimostrazione d'amore, inclusi i baci all'aperto, in mezzo alla gente. La chimica è frizzante
Mi ha dato tanto. Consiglio la visione.
