Great reborn/revenge-plot production that contains a very different love story
This is a great reborn/revenge-plot costume production with really good actors and a storyline that contains a very different love story and revenge-plans that are meticulously executed.I did find it a bit long but I loved this capable/vindictive/adamant FL and cunning/clever/nice ML. This unlikely couple was endearing to watch, so I truly enjoyed this.

The proper revenge rebirth plot with satisfactory dosage of hell fury
Revenge/rebirth plot always have a strange attraction to them ... As they are not based on fairytale love but mostly based on the real emotions we face in our lives ...betrayals ...heartbreaking.. backstabbing etc ... This series too had the same feel to it ... But what made it more attractive was the act performed by the actors ... FL took the revenge thing to a next level .. the way she acted like her eyes full of anger and disgust everytime she looks at the lover who betrayed her .... WOW .. you see I am very peculiar about emotions, they have to match the plot .. and this particular plot needs to be acted with grey and perhaps black emotions ... The ML was equally compelling, and their chemistry? Simply electric.The story maintains a steady pace, never dragging or feeling rushed. It blends realism with drama seamlessly, keeping the audience hooked throughout.
If you’re a fan of revenge tales that don’t sugarcoat emotions, this series is a must-watch.
Strongly recommended for those who love a mix of realism and drama!

The drama can be found on YouTube under the caption: Full Version | The sweet and painful forbidden love with fake uncle | [Rise From the Ashes 小亭台] or Full Version|Cinderella want revenge, but she accidentally got pregnant with her uncle's child- on this one, the beginning is taken from a scene that happens later on but it is the same drama.

Basic revenge and rebirth story that transforms into a lovely romance
Can you have too much flirting in a romance ? I don't think so, and even if it was a bit cheesy at times, I found myself grinning stupidly from ear to ear in front of those two adorable fools in love. There is nothing new about the plot, it's the same old revenge story about a woman scorned by her husband and some green tea, being given a second chance to basically make them suffer her wrath, and finding love with Mr Perfect (who is alos her fake uncle) on the way, but there was something about it that was mesmerizing. The opening scene is arresting, we find our firecracker expert heroïne in red being branded and burned alive screaming bloody revenge on everybody, and then she wakes up in soft white sand, in a pavillion, in a meadow, far from the crowd in her young uncle's estate, meeting with a handsome and mysterious man in black who will become her ally and so much more. How to resist ? I adored the visual of the show, it feels very natural, with great use of warm colors and lighting. If I had to pick a word to describe the drama, it would be lovely. The actors were lovely, their story was lovely, the visuals were lovely. It can be a bit surprising to get a sweet romance after such a violent opening but it was fitting, because the drama is not purely about revenge, it's also (and mainly) about learning to trust and love again. A wonderful little find that deserves praise.Was this review helpful to you?
A Jewel of a Mini-Drama
Although a little rushed at times, (it's a mini drama after all), I did not skip a moment of it, which is pretty rare for me! You really want the FL to achieve her revenge and it's satisfying as the viewer to watch her do it. Not a lot of spice, but the kiss scenes are lovely (no fish kisses). The main leads acting was just as good as a non-mini drama, as were the hair and costumes. Even the art placed in-between the episodes was really pretty...I even screenshotted a couple of them. 100 % rewatchable and recommended for those that are looking for a romance/revenge/strong FL with a nice ending drama that they binge in a couple of hours.
