8 episodes that really should have been at least 10
This drama has potential. If it wasn't for the limited screentime, the casts and directors could flesh-out a unique story on Korean students. However, since it may end as is, I cannot rate it any higher than a 6 personally.CHARACTERS:
First of all, the FL is annoying. However, it works for this drama since she is suppose to be a loner and the awkwardness is presented well. She is not suppose to be smart or cunning or know how to perfectly help her friends. The unlikable FL is one of the reason many dislike it, but I beg to differ. I do cringe at her words and actions, but she is an awkward character and that makes it reasonable.
The ML is the actual problem for this drama though. He is a coward, but he is handsome and so he enjoys deceiving people. Yes it is unintentional that stalkers got his pic and mistaken him for a trainee, but he procrastinate his clarification and later enjoys the fame. If they had more time, I know ep 8 would not be the rush ending it is for him (he need a redemption arc).
Surprisingly, SML got the right amount of screentime ratio in the story. Yes he is the better man for FL, but he did not take too much screentime to elaborate their relationship as the FL only saw him as a childhood friend and he accepts it. This is what Kdrama SLs interactions should be in their relationship (not drama-making and diverging screentime from the main story).
SFL got a reasonable background (childhood friend with ML), reasonable actions (jealousy but not to the crazy harmful way), and is a well developed character. She is jealous, but ML betrayed her trust by hiding the truth as she waited for him to have courage to tell her. She is victim of circumstance of the FL actions and so ML has no rights to say that he forgives her in ep 8. She deserves better for being an understanding friend who got caught up with the FL disaster.
The last friend is great. He is a supporting character and rightfully so. This drama has done it right because not everyone's lives revolve around the main characters. He got his side story and that progresses his relationship in the friend group.
STORY:
Nothing much to say. It is about school popularity and rather than evolving into an unhealthy competition, it focus on personality and the truth. Students got multiple interests and groups rather than becoming the school's queen bee. Also, who was the owner of the admin phone? Why does the FL get to keep it forever? the answers regarding the admin phone will never be known.
The pacing was reasonable until ep 7 and 8 because they have to rush out the ending, the forgiven, the exposing, etc. which I think they could do better with more screentime.
ACTING (remember this is my personal take):
Out of the 5 'main' characters, SML, male friend, and SFL have great expressions for the limited screentime they get. FL acting is either cringy or that is what the character is supposed to be as directed. ML got the worst case of plastic surgery acting because I don't think wide open eyes and some squinting counts for great expression as most of his emotions rely on the lines delivery.
CONCLUSION:
Overall, it is unfortunate that this drama did not get more screentime and the rushed ending made sure that there is no second season. However, the story is very interesting and has a lot of potential so if there is a remake, I would watch it. This is a 6 for me as is.

wasted potential
high school romance, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, he falls first, love triangle..
this drama had so much potential and i was so excited about it, but it turned out so badly.
first things first, the production was really bad. the acting wasn't good, the way it was filmed wasn't either, the ost always came up so randomly and sometimes didn’t even fit the mood.. everything felt so flat, rushed and forced/unatural.
it's only 8 episodes of around 20 minutes too, which obviously doesn't help since it was so short and therefore lacked many things.
an example would be that NONE of the characters has an actual backstory. not even the mcs. it's impossible to get attached to them because we literally don't know anything. the drama mostly takes place at school & in the their rooms, we don't even know who they live with or what their daily life is like..
this deserved a better production & proper episodes lengths to explore the plot, characters, their stories & personalities, their relationships.. so many things.

A short and comfortable Kdrama to watch and teaches about honesty
I give this kdrama a rating of 8.5/10. Why? because so happy when I first heard that Kim Woo Seok and Kang Na Eon were in the same project in this kdrama. their visuals are so good and very wow. this kdrama also gives a moral message about honesty and also this kdrama is short and comfortable to watch in my opinion. The acting in my opinion is not bad but is not good too. This is a kdrama that you can watch if you like a fast and interesting storyline. A girl who wants to be famous uses a popular guy to express his feelings for her. and it turns out that over time the guy really likes her. it's so very cute and adorable.
And also i watch this kdrama because of the plot twist Kim Woo Seok and Kang Na Eon who played in this kdrama as ML and FL are officially DATING! I was so shocked when I heard it! they are dating after filming this kdrama! aka love at work! I can't imagine they fall in love while playing this kdrama. you should watch it!

disappointing amount of depth
i dont want this review to sound too horrible but, im not enjoying this drama .the plot starts off okay, but the chemistry between the leads feels forced. the male lead gets feelings for the female lead, despite forgetting her name. some of their moments are cute, but the connection feels unconvincing, and idk if i like it or not.
another issue is the lack of backstory, especially for the female lead. were four episodes in, and i still dont know if she has a family or who she lives with. theres no context or family presence, and most scenes take place either at school or in her room, where her parents are no where to be seen. the lack of background makes it hard to feel any emotional connection to her character
while the acting is decent, i cant engage with characters i know so little about. building that connection is essential in a good drama, and without it theres no reason to keep watching. the only reason i havent said yes to "are you dropping this title" is that the episodes are just 20 minutes long, with only eight in total so i guess im going to have to thug it out. i hope this drama picks up or something because i do want to like it and i was excited for it to release. but im not looking forward to the remaining episodes and honestly, if you havent started this drama yet dont waste your time and just watch something else

The definition of Mid
This drama is the definition of mid it's not bad its easy to watch but u will definitely get bored once u watch it u forget u even layed eyes on it. The story first starts off great but after the confession episode in my opinion there is nothing to watch anymore just boring and a waste of a perfectly good plotWas this review helpful to you?

Suitable for Teens audience
Tackling a heavy subject-wanting to fit in/be popular in high school- in the most lighthearted way. Most suitable for early teens audience. Very light and sweet show, seemingly consisted by debut actors. An easy and quick watch. There are 8 episodes. Each episode is under 30 minutes. The acting was not bad, so that made it enjoyable to watch. Was this review helpful to you?

Cute and lighthearted, albeit imperfect
This drama didn't have much substance to it, and it was short so it's worth giving a try if you have any interest in it and if you don't like it you will have barely wasted any time :)I did enjoy it as a lighthearted drama with cute scenes and likeable characters. It's best not taken too seriously, as it is flawed with some acting issues and plot issues, but overall, was a pleasant viewing experience and I did get enjoyment out of it, that's what really matters in the end, isn't it? :) This is your sign to give ep 1 a try!

Had soooo soooo soooo much potential!
The start was so promising with the female lead struggling to make friends and lacking the social skills and has strong desires to be popular. And the whole finding a phone which reveals everyone real name on 'it' (a fictional anonymous social media) was such an interesting plot and I was so excited but...The female lead:
So she was something... at the beginning I loved her so much and found her adorable and could understand the things she was doing but after she found the video (which exposed how the male lead was pretending to be a kpop trainee) I started to find her a little out of character. I first noticed this when she starts to blackmail the male lead into helping her 'become popular' but keeps insisting she isn't blackmailing him, which doesn't make it better... I also felt like her growth was non-existent cause at the end she joined the 'popular group' anyways by stalking them and finding out their secrets through the phone then just helping them. Her character had so much potential but then it was all pushed into the 'romance trope' where her character was literally 'I like the male lead and I want to protect him' mode. Like at the end it was all about the male lead's plot...
The male lead:
Okay so Kim Woo Seok needs to stick to the 'cold introverted guy' role cause his acting was... something... His character was so confusing to understand and I don't even know if I should blame his acting or the script. Cause I still don't understand why he helped the female lead 'become popular' when she repeatedly said she wasn't threatening him. And I seriously couldn't tell when he started liking her until the end when they started proper dating. And it was so hypocritical that he gave the main girl girl about how she doesn't have to be popular when he literally become popular because he pretended to be a kpop trainee...
The 'mean' popular girl:
So this girl was a mess and they really just threw her in and out for the plot. She was just their to be a villain and nothing more or less. An example of this is when she was shown really liking the male lead and getting jealous of the female lead but then she was the one who exposed the male lead faking to be a kpop idol. Like the writers were trying everything to make us hate her but it just turned into a mess of a character. Plus her 180 made no sense like where was her character growth?
The social dude that got bullied:
This character only purpose was to be 'saved' by the main leads and that's it... Like the bullies left him with no trauma, no fear and no impact. Like the mean girl, he literally only existed for the main leads...

this drama had a good plotline and i thought how bad can it be from the comments and reviews but i truly underestimated them.the story starts off with our main character finding a phone (how? why? really?) that had the administration dashboard of their school's popular community group and from that day onwards she started exploiting people's secrets to become their friends
first off the bat how can an 18year old be so dumb as to not realise that she was exploiting people's secrets and their personal lives. everyone has their own issues and problems and just because u found out about it that does not give you the right to bring it up to start the conversation. this is what happened the whole drama
there was a mystery / romance subplot to this. the mystery was good it had potential to be better it wouldve been ever better if they could lengthen the drama and create e solid base on the administrator dashboard thing
lastly about the acting. i never talk about acting cuz imo everyone starts somewhere but im very sorry to say but this fl was not it for me she needs some more practice. im so sorry to say this. this is someone's hardwork but to be very honest i did not even like the acting
