"I Love 'Some' of You—But Not All"

Wow, what a journey this series was! GMMTV's "I Love 'A Lot' Of You," emphasizes (if not outright shoves down our throats) the importance of sincereity, not only in how we approach others, inform our behaviors, but also in how we view ourselves; every life experience we go through is an opportunity to showcase our true selves unapologetically, no matter how that manifests, no matter the consequences. And while this show shines in the ideology of the message, the meaning of the show is unraveled in its handling of core plotlines, particularly the one surrounding mental health and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).

The show is centered around the premise of a woman with 5 different personalities (Mahnmook, Sairung, Storm, Prai-fon, and Fah-Sai) who first meets Sun under the guidance of Sairung's father (while I recognize the complexity of identity, for the purposes of this review, I will refer to Mind's character as Sairung), who wants Sun to "heal" her from her DID. The conversations around DID in the series not only consistently but also explicitly regard DID as a weakness that needs to be healed, which both undercuts the series' main emphasis on sincerity and also advocates a dangerous oversimplification of the condition. The idea that DID can be "overcome" with something as simple as being loved (if that's the case, then why wasn't her father's love enough to "heal" her) and the disregard for the complexity of each personality frankly stunned me. The series tries to circumvent this oversimplification in the end by showing how Sairung still carries a part of each personality, but it doesn't make up for the fundamental contradiction in the show's message; if we are to celebrate each and every part of ourselves to be sincere, then why not celebrate the complexity of ourselves by having Sairung end up balancing all 5 personalities equally? Each personality makes up who Sairung is; Sairung is Sairung because she was made up of 5 different personalities.

So, what this show ultimately ends up doing in this reduction of DID and identity, is it advocates a dangerous caveat to the message of sincerity. It's true that we should strive to be ourselves, but we should only do this when who we are is something to be desired. We should show parts of ourselves to others, but only the parts others can accept, which is an ultimately damaging view of identity and individuality, because if we are meant to pander to the wishes of others, then who and what is our true, authentic self?

This harmful portrayal of identity is further developed in the subplot of Sairung wanting Sun to choose which personality she ultimately ends up choosing once she "heals" from DID, which is ironic because sincerity is something deeply rooted in understanding and knowledge of ourselves, not something others ascribe to us; we cannot be sincere about our feelings and identity if we aren't familiar with the complexity of the wholeness of ourselves, or if someone else tells us who we are. If Sairung, as a character, were fully sincere, then why would she want someone else to choose the person she would continue to live as? Again, the show tries to circumvent this harmful narrative by ultimately having Sairung pick her own personality, but it is precisely the mere inclusion of this subplot in a show that advocates for the importance of authenticity in expressing our individuality that is harmful. So, while this show presents a performative attempt to open the door to more genuine, productive conversations regarding DID and mental health, an issue historically underrepresented in Asian culture and media, I can't help but walk away from this series thinking it has done more harm than good.

I think the premise of the show is a very interesting one, the cast (Mind killed this role!) was amazing, the soundtrack was beautiful, and the production quality was great, however, it is with this fondness of the show that I say there were just so many other aspects of the show that I thought could've been better done, such as with the utter lack of zero secondary character development, De's character being a creep that uses spyware whenever he wants and without others' permission, and the hurried handeling of the Kritsana Real Estate plotline (did we ever truly learn what/how the business was shady?).

In the end, "I Love 'A Lot' Of You" sets itself up to be a heartfelt meditation on sincerity and identity, but ultimately falls apart under the weight of its own contradictions due to its failure to fully embrace the very sincerity it preaches. If you are someone looking for a quick and easy watch, this might be up your alley! But if you're someone looking for a little more depth and "sincerity" than just a surface rom-com, I would suggest you get your fix somewhere else.

Sun isn't the jerk here, Sairung's father is.

I'm not really sure how to rate this series, I did sit through all 12 episodes in one sitting, no pauses, no breaks I just sat and watched, so I can't say I completely hated it in fact I did enjoy some of it.

Sadly although an easy watch, this series makes very little sense starting from the fact that the plot consists of a girl who's suffered such trauma after her mother's passing that has caused her to develop 5 distinct personalities so her father has the genius idea to hire a jerk who's main source of income comes from tricking women into falling for him only to then mercilessly break their hearts, a job he's quite proud of and enjoys maybe too much. What kind of father would do such a heinous thing to their own daughter and why?? According to him if all 5 personalities fall for the same man they'll merge into one and all of his daughter's issues will go away. Whatt??? How!!!!??? Where did he get such a stupid idea from? What is he basing this tactic on? Not even he knows!! Father of the year right here. And I'm not even going to get into episode look, 11 I don't know anything about psychology but I can assure that that is not how DID works.

The good things, the things I stayed sat though 12 episodesof nonsense, The main actress Mind, gorgeous woman btw, did a great job portraying the 5 personalities, each had their own style, speech pattern and mannerisms to the point that one could easily tell who was on screen. Nanon who I usually associate with soft baby girl type characters that cpuld do no wrong did make this jerk heartbreaker jackass come to life, I kind of wanted to slap him a couple times and smiled ear to ear when eventually he did get slapped.

The rest of the cast was cute and they made what was a total mess enjoyable but at the end of the day it's a really dumb series that doesn't have much of a story.

If you're watching this waiting for it to make sense, don't bother but if you're a Nanon fan and want something to pass the time you might like this.

I'm rating it a 5 trust me it's not good but not entierly bad either.

7.5(barely)/10

well this is finally over and i dont know how i feel abt this (not in a good way tho)....this feels like, one fine day the writer heard abt DID and thought abt writing a book/series on it but didnt even bother to know what DID actually is...like a quick google search can tell you!!! the lack of awareness is real lmao!!! if i leave the DID part aside (very hard to do but ok) WHAT WAS EVEN THE POINT OF KRITSANA STORYLINE, when they had to leave it hanging like it without any closure....and the worst of all "love can heal DID" ahhhhhhh....even as someone who has never came across someone with DID or a very smart person to talk abt this, ik that this is wrong!!! telling sun to choose one of the personalities was absolutely horrible (good that he didnt +1 for him) like what they even thought writing this...did they not feel their ancestors side eyeing them!??!!?? this was smth the girls had to decide not SUN and it was so obv that it was going to be sairung lol
AND the father!!!! he was the worse...like for once i can believe that you *thought* your daughter can be fixed by love (very hard to believe but ok) and then you hired a LEGIT SCAMMER who is known for breaking hearts and traumatising girls....i need his supplier ASAP...istg every decision that man took in his life was shit. all of his human rights should be snatched rn!!
tbh this show was a hard watch for me and i had to watch last 4 episodes on 1.75x-2x.
as for the acting part....the cast did a great job but the story was ass (it could've been decent imo but they felt like we ball) even nanon and mind together were unable to save this sinking ship of a series lol
you can watch this if you really really have nothin to watch (atp go watch the life of Kardashians atleast it has some drama.)

Great acting!

This was the first time i watched a drama with Mind or Nanon, and wow they are great actors!
I really enjoyed it and sat down to watch every episode the moment of the premiere.
It really impressed me how easily Mind crawled into each personality.

The story was interesting with a few plot twists, it was funny, sweet and even had some exiting moments. The visuals were beautifull and the music good.

I might watch this again in the future and i really recommend watching it.

aishh jinjja?

it really seemed like they were trying to romanticize DID without actually including DID representation. for me personally, the ending was very bittersweet. what i loved and absolutely adored most about this series was the true effort Sun put into actually trying to understand Sairung. i thought it was beautiful how he could tell who was in the light by a simple change in demeanor, even when Marnmok tried to pretend to be Sairung. however, what i absolutely hated was the fact that they tried to emphasize that Sairung needed to be "cured" from DID in order to be "normal." ALSO DID HAS NO CURE!!! did the writers even TRY to do their research??? it's very easy to point out a show's flaws that's why i must say, each episode had me completely hooked and i found this series so intriguing. though, it was very unrealistic and i'll even go as far as to say poor inclusion. i wish i learned something about DID from this series but it seems i already know more than the writers lol.

i can't finish this review without noting, nanon i love you and Mind you are a breathtaking actress. your ability to portray each personality was impressive to watch. i found myself being able to tell them all apart myself.

Good love story, but wrong work on DID.

Obvioulsy with Mind and Nanon it's a drama with good ost. And amazing acting.

It's a really good love story about a player who learn how to love one person - with many identity.
The story is really heartwarming. They show how to learn how to love someone, that love need sincerity and deep trust.

The only cons is how they show DID. Actually for once DID isn't show as a disorder for killer or sociopath (if I can say it like this). But they really needed to learn a few thing, no you don't get to choose your identity once you over come your trauma. As far as I know, it's more like a merge. But I loved how they give each identity a real... Well.. Identity and write each of them as a character.

I would've fallen for Sun's charm too

This show has such a unique concept! I really enjoyed it and looked forward to the new episode every week. The main actress did a great job playing all the different personalities. I liked the changes they made in her style as well to differentiate the personalities. Loved the chemistry between the characters as well! I loved Sun! He was super charming for starters, but I loved seeing him develop into a really sincere and caring person. I liked the secondary couple as well! They were really fun to watch. I hated her dad. He was the actual villain of this show and the one who caused pretty much everything that went wrong. I really liked this story and how it wrapped up!

Rainbow of yous

The soulless flirt master con artist Sun finds he has a heart after all when it gets stolen by the ultimate manic pixie dream girl Sairung, who is so quirky that there are five different versions of her. His path to self improvement via encountering true love for the first time in his life is interrupted by an entrapment scheme by that same girl's father coincidentally. Sairung's father Thepphachai is truly the worst of the whole cast of men that lie to women and all of them were liars. Both Sun and De ran a whole business that automatically take the side of the men that hire them to lie to and hurt their ex-girlfriends. Pat got close to and dated Sairung to get to her father and he has the nerve to judge Sun.

People who have DID is often after suffering the most immense trauma, and Thepphachai decides to hire a con artist to con his daughter to fix her. When he's confronted why he thinks that will happen and what's supposed to happen when she is hurt by the truth, he just shurgs. It's just a blind guess and he's doing something so horrible to his own daughter. He also was a coward who hid the truth of his wife's assassination to the point of destroying evidence rather than at least telling his daughter the truth even if he felt he couldn't share it with the world. The information didn't even end up doing anything to the murderer oligarch who realistically gets to go on to do evil. It's also really creepy how he joined in on the meeting about which of Sairung's personality that Sun wants to keep to be his lover from the perspective if he was choosing one to be his lover.

There's a lot of artistic license taken in this fictionalized portrayal of DID, so I'll just talk about how it's presented from within the story. Sun and Sairung have a lot of chemistry and were the first to fall for each other. She has the original name of herself and she may be the original personality before the trauma of finding her mother's corpse. The show seems to present the personalities of choosing one to be "whole", but it's also presented as they did fuse in the end as Sairung can feel the different sides of her in different situations and she can't see them as separate individuals anymore. I was wondering if there would be some different way of portraying Sairung after integration, but it also can make sense if this was always her original self.

Sun apologizing regardless of forgiveness from all the women he scammed is good. He's so lucky they only slapped him and non decided to sue him. It would be nice to see Nanon in some noona romances if he hasn't been in one already, but there can always be more with different genres and stories. De only realizing women are people too after talking to Gudji is so ridiculous, but at least he does come to that conclusion whereas sadly many in real life do not. It even took Sun forever and he's always talking to women. The pacing of the episodes were really good until it fell apart in the end with nothing really happening with the murder mystery side of things. There's no justice or catharsis. It's good that Sairung got to find some peace with her core trauma, but the murder was really half the story and that half got nothing.

I need another Nanon and Mind series!!!

i love a lot of you is honestly one of the boldest series gmmtv has put out this year. on paper, the concept already sounds wild—sun (nanon korapat) is a professional charmer who gets hired to win over sairung (mind atitaya), a girl living with dissociative identity disorder. but here’s the twist: he doesn’t just have to woo her once. he has to fall in love with all five of her personalities.

this premise could’ve easily slipped into messy territory, but the show balances romance, comedy, and mystery in a way that keeps you hooked every episode. nanon shines as sun, giving the character a mix of wit, charm, and a bit of mystery that keeps you second-guessing his real motives. he really knows how to play those morally gray roles, and this series proves once again why he’s one of gmmtv’s strongest actors.

but the real standout here is mind atitaya. taking on five distinct personalities is no small feat, yet she switches between them so effortlessly that each one feels like a completely different person. from soft and vulnerable to bold and fiery, she shows an incredible range that makes you root for every version of sairung.

the show isn’t perfect—some viewers pointed out concerns about how it handles mental health, especially with the “love will fix you” angle. that’s valid, and it’s something the series could’ve approached with more sensitivity. still, it deserves credit for trying something fresh and ambitious in the rom-com space.

overall, i love a lot of you delivers a unique love story filled with laughter, drama, and surprising depth. it’s not your typical fluffy romance; it challenges its characters (and the audience) to think about what it really means to love someone completely. for nanon and mind fans, this is a must-watch.

A rainbow of 5 colors

If you're thinking of watching this series then go ahead it's a good series overall if you can bear a few plotholes since they will be covered up by the good acting. The representation of DID is insensitive and a little disappointing ending, but the romance part was nicely done along with the comedy and cinematography.

In detail review with my opinions ~
OST: Good song by Nanon, I have listened to it a lot now even before I watched this series. And now the song has more meaning to me.
ACTING: Impressive acting by Nanon and Mind. Nanon really nicely portrayed Sun, a heartbreaker for hire who is not a hero but actually a villain in many women's lives. I was mind blown by Mind's acting, her ability to portray all five personalities where you can just tell who is who just by looking at their facial expression and body language. Junior also did really great acting here, his role really remained a mystery and then boom - there comes the twist.
CINEMATOGRAPHY: I have to talk about it. I was awe struck by the cinematography of this show. The saturated color palette and the breathtaking views and snapshots of the Bangkok city, made me feel like I was actually with them in that place, it really set the mood for the type of scenes. Not to forget that Sun's character is literally a photographer in this series so yeah that was also really well done.
STORY: Now coming to the story. GMMTV has done it again. They took a really good plot and then ruined it. Like most shows this show also suffered from the degradation of the series as the episodes progressed further. The first half keeps me interested and curious, the second half just makes me question everything, from the plot to the characters. Judging for comedy, this series was pretty good according to my standard. The romantic part was also really well done thanks to NanonMind's amazing acting. But the thriller part - oof. That is where the writers missed. There was just not enough suspense created. It looked like a thriller but it did not feel like a thriller. I have to say the plot twists were done nicely but because the suspense wasn't much they didn't land that well specifically the ending. Why did they start the the whole Kritsana plotline if they were not going to put an end to it?? Why did the villain of this story win?? This just shows that the writers were lazy to write all of that. If they had worked on that the show would have been lot better, it would have not just passed on a message of mental health importance but also of speaking up the truth by journalists and media. Turns out her mom did die for nothing.
Now talking about each character:
1. Sun: A morally grey character who did become a good person at the end. He understood, that what he did was not 'love karma', but scamming and then changed his job and redeemed his past mistakes even though they won't erase his past, but they will make him a better person. I thought that he had claustrophobia the way he reacted in that elevator, but turns out it was something else. Oh and also his nerdy look with those glasses was really cute, I loved his style throughout the series.
2. Sairung: First of all, the representation of DID was very bad. The writers didn't do proper research on the disorder and claimed that it can be fixed by "love"(there is no cure for DID yet). Sairung's five personalities were very well coordinated, I wonder if that can actually happen; they were all very interesting also, they all had a specific purpose to be in Sairung's life, and they were each on their own mission, putting together broken fragments from a mystery long buried. I also wondered throughout the series why Marnmok seemed like a leader for all them, as if she was the main personality, the show even gave her a lot of attention and her role was pretty big in the suicide plotline. But then how did they choose Sairung as the "final" personality ? Yes she has the same name as the girl but she did not hold much importance in the story. And honestly in my opinion, Marnmok and Sun had more chemistry and Sun even fell in love with her at first sight (I'm still baffled how they "chose" a "final" personality).
Dad: Oh I hate the dad. The whole problem started from him. They didn't villainize him enough. And his claim that love can heal his daughter, yeah sure go ahead boomer. He did not think much about the consequences his actions will have, and then even went ahead to fool his daughter using Sun. Worst character in the whole show. And his claim that his wife was having an affair? Haha, he deserved much more karma. He was okay in his place to back out from searching about Kritsana because of his wife and kid but his wife was also correct in her place to search about the truth and do her job as a journalist. They both were correct in their own places.
Phat: Actually, he is the only character in which I can't pick flaws. He was there for an exact reason and it was well executed.
De & Gudji: Great comedic timing by Louis and Parn. They made such a cute couple <3

I love all of the casts but the story is just a MID

First of all, I watched this series because I am a fan of Nanon's acting and I love Mind, but I wonder did I missed something? What happened to Kritsana Construction that all of them want to bring down after all? Pat's character is out of nowhere and goes back to nowhere. The acting is amazing, but the writing fell apart apparently.

Rewatch value 0 (I rated 1 or else the system wouldn't let me submit my review), I love all of the casts and their acting though, I just wish the writing were better.
