Neko is the only reason I don't regret watching this series.
Most GL series either have good, satisfactory, or poor production values. But in my opinion, Roller Coaster excels in the production aspects. It’s not just about the cinematography, but also good visual storytelling and seamless editing. Kantana Post really lives up to its reputation. I also like the well-balanced ambient sound and good audio mixing, which most series usually don't pay close attention to. The only technical thing I’m not a fan of is the driving scenes VFX. I wish they could do the actual car tracking shot to give more emotional depth to the scenes as most of the scenes look floating and distracted. In the acting department, Pundao and Shelly, being newcomers, did okay, and there’s still room for improvement in the future. Pundao still needs a lot of practice, as her dialogue delivery sounds pretty rigid. But I personally think Neko deserved a standing ovation for her performance as Air. She ate and left no crumbs. She nailed every action and emotion so effectively, especially with her expressive eyes, whether it's happy or heavy scenes. She really brings nuance to this series with her performance alone—no fan service, no hype. NEKO NAERUNCHARA LERTPRASERT... SHE'S PURE TALENT. #TeamAir. Without her, this series would certainly feels bland. I think Neko is the one doing most of the heavy lifting but getting less recognition. And Roller Coaster is one of very few GL series with a good male character we can root for.
Now the storylines/plots. I've read the book and there were some chapters and parts that I don't quite like, especially with the 'harmless flirting' that’s pretty much predictable that it will lead somewhere. Whether it's morally right or wrong, let's leave the argument for another space and time. But in the series, while I still dislike those parts and there’s something about the changes that put me off a bit, the plots flow at a nice pace until the end. Pacharawan Chaipuwarat's script manages to bring the book to life, but with some changes that did not quite impress me. And I’m never one to care about NC scenes and the hype, and I believe those scenes or the execution don't define the quality of a series, so it won’t even affect my rating one bit.
Honestly, this series really surprised me by how well it's been made, plus a good main OST, but still not up to 'the best' or 'outstanding' just yet for me to rate it higher. It feels good soaking in the great visuals and production quality; I would give a 9 for production quality alone, but that’s not the case here. Overall, while it’s a well-produced GL series, it's still lacking in some areas.

The best thai gl I've watched till date.
I will confess I love to start watching thai gl's but can never bring myself to finish them because most times I find them to be overly dramatic or unrealistic. To this date the only thai gl I had watched completely was The secret of Us until Rollercoaster came.It totally took the bar for thai gl's to a whole new dimension. I really loved everything from the story, cinematography, the music and finally the absolutely amazing cast. All the things in the story were managed with so much care and attention to detail. I never felt a moment of discomfort watching it.
The series was highly emotional and deeply satisfyingly aptly named Rollercoaster. I would love to see more stories from this team (the production and cast). I'm so glad I could be a part of this wonderful ride from start to finish. This is my first time commenting on a series ever and I am doing this because I really hope more people can find this drama and give it a chance.
Please give Rollercoaster a chance you'll be pleasantly surprised!

2025 GL with the Best Cinematography, Sets, Acting, Chemistry and OSTs
I can honestly say this is the best GL series I've watched this year. The thing that sets RC apart from other GLs is its non-linear storytelling and use POV scenes which I’ve only seen used in The Witcher series never in a GL as most GLs are shot like soap operas or Disney channel shows. The storyline and pacing are the best as there was no rushing or dragging of the plot. Each characters' choice mattered and affected the story. The cinematography, lighting and color grading are stunning, some shots look like it came from Thai Indie films which again I've never see in Thai GLs. I love how they incorporated the 'Roller Coaster' theme into the series through camera movements, sound effects and the way the emotions build up, down, twists and turns. The show also used the OSTs to tell the characters’ thoughts and struggles which is never seen in a GL usually the OST is just a cutesy bop.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST GL
I wasn't expecting much of this show. There are so many GLs airing right now- that I thought this would be my casual watch in between Whale Store or Harmony's Secret. But Shelley had me hooked. The way she acts, and looks at Pundao- the two of them together- they make this show a compelling watch. This show has everything that I wanted as an audience. It has crazy chemistry, complex emotions, genuine characters with mature human emotions that feel real and relatable. At first, I was watching it just for the chemistry and then I started appreciating other things about the show as well, like the very mature storyline, of course brilliant performances from the whole cast and finally a very real maturity that normally doesn’t exist in Thai GLs. I found myself crying with the show, like the characters actually transferred their emotions. I also found it quite refreshing how they could talk about sex and it was not a hidden and dirty term. I like the physical urgency- it was also very relatable. If someone asked me earlier, what my favourite GL was, I was normally confused between Us because of the cute scenes and the great performances or Blank simply for the chemistry or the Secret of Us for incredible acting production value and storyline or even Pluto for all of the same reasons. I think my mind switched between shows based on the mood I was in, but I never had a clear winner. After watching this show, I am certain that I have not seen anything better, including the new shows airing now. This truly has been beyond fantastic and I highly highly recommended it.Was this review helpful to you?

A good trio
When you watch a lot of GL series, you tend to anticipate how they’ll wrap up.What makes Rollercoaster stand out is its fresh cast and original dynamics, especially the love triangle between three young women. Pure, Air, and Loft have kept me engaged over the past seven weeks. Between tension, lies, masks, and parental pressure, they managed to pull through.
I had a real soft spot for Air. She powerfully conveys the idea that living only to please your parents will never truly satisfy them. Actress Neko did an amazing job, and I really hope to see her in future projects.
The romance between Loft and Pure was amusing: Loft was willing to do anything to win Pure over, and I enjoyed watching her so hopelessly in love. Honestly, I’d love to see more of that kind of storyline, just for my own enjoyment.
On the other hand, I wish Lamp had more screen time since I found him really likable. I also feel the love triangle could have been more dramatic and passionate. The ending was fairly predictable—you quickly realize who Pure will end up with, leaving little room for doubt.
I really like Neko
Still, Rollercoaster is a series I would recommend. The characters are endearing, and the overall experience is enjoyable.

Refreshing!
Roller Coaster is a refreshing and heartfelt Thai GL that truly stands out thanks to its thoughtful direction. One of its strongest points for me is the care put into the production, mainly because it has a directing and production team (including cameras, lighting and sound technicians) composed entirely of women during the intimacy scenes. The actresses are amazing and the story is addictive. Was this review helpful to you?
A Solid Watch with Strong Casting
So far, Roller Coaster hasn’t been disappointing at all. It’s genuinely enjoyable, and I appreciate that the characters aren’t constantly making frustrating or illogical decisions. I found myself rooting for Air, even though she’s clearly part of the problem—and that made her more interesting to watch. The casting is one of the show’s strengths. Each actor fits their role well, which makes the series more engaging overall. That said, the confrontation scene didn’t fully land for me. The emotions felt off when everyone was in the same scene together, even though their performances worked better individually.
Overall, it’s a solid series with good character work, just with a few moments where the execution could’ve been stronger.

I really appreciate the performances of the young actors!
This film is slightly above average. The premise has a lot of potential, but the execution doesn’t fully deliver. There are quite a few plot points that feel out of place. The characters’ psychology should be heavy and impactful, yet the script doesn’t go far enough, so it sometimes leaves me feeling underwhelmed. I didn’t even feel heartbroken—rather than pushing the moral conflict to a higher level, I kept thinking there wasn’t really a convincing reason they couldn’t end up together.
That said, since they’re both new actors, I think they tried very hard, and I genuinely appreciate how seriously they approached their work. I hope they continue to improve in their next series.

Shelly is really beautiful
The story so so only, not interest me at all. I almost want to stop to watch it everytime. I continue watch it just because want to see Shelly. But the love scenes is too much, I don't feel romantic at all, it make me feel quite uncomfortable like watching porn. I feel that gl series not need to act until this stage.

THE BEST GL I'VE EVER SEEN
“Rollercoaster is hands down the best GL I’ve ever watched in my entire delulu, overthinking, emotionally unstable life. Like genuinely, no other series is touching this. The storyline ate. The cinematography ate. The cast devoured the whole plate and left zero crumbs.
Every episode had me kicking my feet, pausing to scream, and then replaying scenes like I have no shame. The chemistry?? ILLEGAL. And the fact that ShellyPundao are an IRL couple just makes everything 1000x more unhinged. The way they look at each other? Girl, even my single, heartbroken self felt something.
It’s not even a series at this point it’s a full emotional experience. One minute I’m laughing, the next I’m staring at the ceiling questioning my life choices. The visuals are so pretty.
If someone asks me for GL recommendations, I’m sorry but I’m only saying Rollercoaster. It didn’t just raise the bar, it yeeted the whole bar into space. Peak GL, zero debate.”
GUYSSS ITS WORTH TO WATCHHH!!

It was GOOD
When I saw the pilot for this series I was confused like who like who...who was first. And my impression about the actresses were off. Until I started watching and am like PURE aint easy self!!! At first I was like nice...during it got exciting ( their intimacy is top tier) the ending did throw me off a bit with Air. But she's entitled to her feelings even if they seemed a bit petty. I loved it mevertheless...each one of those actresses deserve to be recognized! A job Well Done! Was this review helpful to you?
