Not lovewatching not hatewatching but a third other thing: watching to snark about it on feeds
I have good news and I have bad news. Bad news is I read about 41% of this book, so I am 100% making half of this review about the book! I'm sorry; this is a double review and a character analysis to boot! Sorry! The good news is the book was so bad, it made me appreciate the show more! lolSo I finished this show, and despite the potato quality, I am once again here to proclaim that Chinese BLs just hit different! And I say this, feeling like this show was trying to imitate the mainstream Thai BL style. It was still better! It's like China's curse: They are the perfect people to make BLs! (What's the joke? Born to produce BLs, forced to follow regulations)
As you may have noticed, I gave this show a 7.5, which must stand out in the sea of 8s and 9s and 10s this show is racking up but I want you to know that this is amazing. I was gonna give this show a 6 but it managed to make me want to raise the rating to a 7.5 and personally I think it's a great achievement because I physically could not give it a higher rating. It's not even the low budget or quality, it's that the cringe-factor of this show was too high for me to enjoy it any more than a 7.5! I had so many moments of secondhand embarrassment when I had to stop and walk around to stop the queasiness. I can't give this any higher a rating. Some of the dialogue was just too embarrassing and weird...who talks like that?!
But it's not the show's fault entirely; a lot of that weird stuff comes straight out of the book, which is, to be honest, too bad to have been adapted. Like, who looked at that mess and thought "hmmm, this is gonna be the most successful Chinese BL of ALL time! We HAVE to adapt this!!!" A genius person to see the potential in that mess but like...I am sure there were better options!
You see, the problem with this show/book is not even the explicit parts or the horniness or the romanticization of red flags...the worst thing about this book is the fundamental misunderstanding about human sexuality AND anatomy! Miss Author did NOT research being a gay before writing this, and it shows. Serious talk: This story shows queerness in a predatory, perverted manner, and I don't mean that they do horny stuff, oh, how dare they! It's how the gay characters impose their sexuality on others that was insulting and insensitive. There is basically no gay character who isn't shown in some predatory manner here, and that made me uncomfortable. I wish the show had taken the liberty of changing all of that and also fixing the truly embarrassing goofs they spew as facts in the big year of 2025, but unfortunately, the show has all of that mess in it. Sometimes loyalty to source material is worse (NOT YOU, FENNELL! YOU GO TO JAIL FOR DOING *THAT* TO WUTHERING HEIGHTS!) Here, the show could have been less similar to the book.
They did try, to their credit. Characters like Guo Cheng Yu and Jiang Xiao Shuai are whitewashed a lot. Our resident bad boys are not just bad boys in the book. They are just bad! lol! Like, sure! Show!Chi Cheng is a bad enemy to have; you are screwed for sure if he hates you! But as far as being a lover goes, if he really loves you, you are so lucky! He is gonna break his heart every time you cry! That's sweet! I mean the book had that too but the other stuff was just too much! Because, in the book, it's implied that Chi Cheng is into extreme sadism. The show doesn't go to the extremes that the book goes to demonstrate this. I'm really glad because I feel like maybe Miss Author also didn't know enough about BDSM to use it correctly and just used it as an edgy trait to show how dangerous Chi Cheng is. 'Cause what she described wasn't sadism, it was attempted murder. I'm glad Chi Cheng is just a red flag in the show!
But really. The heteronormative labeling of gay relationships, the misunderstandings of how intimate relationships work or what queerness even means...just... it was a bit bothersome. So know that sexuality is a spectrum. Bisexuality exists. There are no inherent positions in a same sex relationship, and people switch. You have to prepare for intimate relationships in advance; the care is necessary and detailed and very important, and Jiang Xiao Shuai really should have told Wu Suo Wei that no straight man would have even come up with the plot to seduce a love rival for revenge to begin with!!!!
There's also just so many silly bits in the story. I lost count of how many times I was choking on nervous laughter while watching the show. All at inappropriate times! None of this was the show's fault. 90% of these scenes were straight from the book. This is why I raised the rating, btw. I can't be mad at a show that was so loyal to the source material and did such a good job of bringing it all to life despite budget restrictions and the Chinese censorship laws. They worked hard! And there were certain elements that I liked. The overall plot works even if the details make no sense. And the emotional investment is enough to keep you guessing and binging, and by the time we reach the emotional climax of the show, my heart hurt for these kids. So kudos to them for achieving maximum investment in the story with barely any flashy story tactics.
The acting...I didn't love the acting. Someone recently said this, and it has since ruined about 70% of the shows I watch. They said: "You can tell they're acting"...WHY WOULD YOU MAKE ME AWARE OF THIS?! It's like when someone makes you aware of your breathing and then you spend 20 minutes being extra cautious of your breathing and feeling like you're choking (I'm sorry.) So now, every time I watch a show, I'm like "hmmm, that's acting" ugh. Well, I got that feeling a lot and not just that but the "omg, I'm in a BL, what am I doing with my career?!" look in some of their eyes throughout the show was killing me! Like, this could have ruined so many careers, so fair enough! But then, when you know all of this, and that thought is in your head too, the whole viewing experience is tainted. I was both aware that these are all actors, and that made me aware of just how dangerous this project is, and that I couldn't believe we were getting this show in 2025 from China! So a lot was going through my mind. I don't think they're bad actors. I just think they are still far from hitting their peak, and the director maybe demanded a theatrical acting style from them and some of them had to stick to some pet peeves to make it through. That said, you can never go wrong with hiring a hot 97-line guy as the hot guy in your show and this show did it twice in a row...game acknowledged *tips hat*
I loved the music! lol! I think Cdramas should use public domain music more often. They matched the mood of the scenes so well and I have only good memories of the music in the background. The production is visibly not very high quality or expensive but I think they blew it all on getting expensive sets for the rich people's homes and the snakes and that's a good place to put the money in. because they otherwise had no money left for other stuff like prison sets, extras in the background, clothes (this is good because they had to stick to clear styles for each character and have repeat outfits which added realism), music...like basically, everything was put together with spit and while sometimes that made stuff goofy and unserious, overall I think it worked in favor of the show.
I might actually rewatch some scenes! lol!
Negatives: As for the negative points of this show: TOO MANY SNAKES! The ick was real and there, and I had to cover the screen so many times, yikes! If you are really scared and disgusted by snakes like me, RIP! It's hard to get through those scenes. Shoutout to Vinegar though! That was one tolerable snake!
I explained the rest above, but you know, someone said, "all BLs are toxic because men are incapable of healthy relationships and BLs have two men" and... like...okay, harsh but... (yes, not aLl mEN, I know.)yikes...
Overall: This is mandatory BL viewing now. Like, this is too iconic to avoid! The show has issues but don't kill the messenger. Miss Author just didn't know anything, and the production team ran with it. It's worth watching for the makeout sessions if for nothing else! The hypernevtialtion of knowing they made this in Mainland China gives you enough adrenaline rush to make it through the whole thing in one amnesiac binge-sitting! What's not to like?!

RL gives me so much hope and excitement for the future of C-BL
I'm so happy to be alive to witness such greatness from the CHINESE!!! BL scene. We literally used to pray for times like this and those times seem to finally be upon us.I'm just here thinking, if we're already getting this level of quality from China in the grand year of 2025, just what more greatness awaits us in the future? My fellow C-BL enthusiasts, 好好活着 keep on living!!
To bring this review back to a sense of normalcy, this was such a great series. Acting was great, no cringeyness, despite the low budget the quality did not take a hit. The plot and pacing was great, the romance development, the couple's struggles, loyal and tightknit friendships, navigating tough family dynamics and situations, all these plotlines were written with such detail I didn't have a chance to be bored. Romance wise, Wei Wei and Chi Cheng were so intimate, not just with kisses/NC scenes but also through their body language in general. I just loved sooo much how you could see Wei Wei, the self proclaimed "straight" man, slowly come to love CC and open up more and more to him physically. It was beautiful to watch.
There were apparently a ton of intimate scenes that ended up being cut from the series which I was really sad to hear about, and you can feel this a bit from the ending which comes across a bit rushed and not exactly matching the personalities of our MCs so I was a bit dissapointed with that, but I'm just glad we at least got a lot of intimacy from early on in the series to tide us through.
Here's to a future where Chinese BL is completely censor free!!
Overall, a great series for any BL fan to watch. Highly recommend.
Side note, is it just me or does the OST, which is extremely good btw, remind anyone of Adele's, 'Make You Feel My Love'? I'm guessing this OST samples that song? Cos I swear i thought I was just listening to the Chinese translated version at first. Kudos to the 2nd ML actor, I didn't realize he was the singer and he sounds so good!

Will trigger strong reactions ......
Due to censorship laws Revenged Love is not officially airing on mainland Chinese platforms. Produced by Vision Moments Media Ltd., a registered production company based in Singapore, they have managed to circumvent this restriction and I am so glad they did.I was turned off by the implied brutality in episode 1, however, I continued and I will be ever grateful I did. The relationship between the two male leads is like a masterclass of acting. their use of body language, micro expressions and tonality gave masterful and subtle acting skills. I became totally invested in this production. I stalked the BTS clips waiting for the next episode. I became super fearful China would step in and ban the series, I was also concerned at the invasive Chinese fans who stalked the two stars.
There are scenes that broke me. Hats off to the director and the reinterpretation of the original drama and story-line. There are flaws, of course but the pace and immersive experience pushed me along so that they didn't detract from my immense appreciation of this drama. Some scenes obviously tampered with to get through censorship and too many issues for this short drama to make sense of.
All is well and the series finished on a fairly mild note after the emotional wringer I was put through. This has raised the bar in BL, no damn it in drama per se.
I wish these two actors heaps of success and I will watch anything that pairs them again as a love interest or not.

Wow! Just Wow! I'm amazed!!! A BL you cannot afford to miss out on!!
This is honestly one of the best BL series I have ever watched. The chemistry between both couples is on fire and the main leads are so hot together, they have me glued to my screen every Monday and Tuesday! I'm obsessed with them!! The story is great and the comedy is also awesome! This is a series that will keep you coming back for more!!! Love it!!Was this review helpful to you?
Best of the Best!!! New Obsession.
When I decided to watch this, I did not know it was going to be the start of my new obsession. This is a BL that I will probably rewatch over and over again. I love everything about it! This is the first time I'm addicted to a BL like this!!! The characters are great, the story is simple yet catchy, the chemistry is literally sizzling like hot oil and as a bonus, the actors are such eye candies. You won't regret watching this. Was this review helpful to you?
At the beginning, I should mention that I was not invited to write reviews for some series.
I chose one South Korean series, one Thai of course, and one Chinese.
I see that it is not surprising that South Korea won the Oscar.
Thai series have very poor potential, which is mostly reflected in the acting, the actors are not academically trained, the directors too. The scripts are very bad. The plot does not develop. There is no tension or interest.
Then there are Chinese series, where there is a large population, there should be the best actors, screenwriters... however, I am very disappointed.
The best series are South Korean.

Reasons why my blood is boiling right now
OK, this series as I already know y'all it ain't for the weak hearted, the acting and production is good, and the ratings is looking very pleasant, so I'm writing this review for the people who has problems with the SA scene that happened in the beginning, if you have a problem with it please just fucking drop the drama, no body Is forcing you to watch it, after all that's what you all say in your reviews "I have to force my self to get through the episodes", like, if your morals are really that much higher than ours cause we actually enjoy it, then stop watching it, don't force yourself through it, and I know half of y'all in the comments don't even watch bls but you still come prepared with your big @ss mug to yapp about stuff like that, Chi Cheng was way worse in the novel, and the casts and crews did put a lot of effort into censoring certain stuff, I don't excuse such behavior but ChiCheng's character was written like that, he was supposed to be a guy who cares about nothing but his snakes until he met SuWei, he ordered his man to 🍇 that man because he hates to be lied to the most, so he did that, and that was before he fell in love with Suwei, his character is a dynamic character, he's going to change, and if weak hearted people like you have a problem than stuck your foot in you d@mn mug, and don't come dropping the reviews here, anyone can tell half you a lot are jealous people who don't even watch bls, or just bots, I bet those reviews were written by three people with different accounts, so before coming to smear vile comments and reviews on a series please try to understand the characters build and structure and understand that fiction and is fiction, it's written based of someone's imagination, I don't mean to put down the victims to SA but we all have to understand that this series is for entertainment and that's why 60% of it is comedy, no one is trying to undermine the SA portrayed, just people with common sense who can distinguish fiction from real life, this series brought me comfort and joy, and seeing its reviews going down because of people who has nothing good to spute out of their mug, and people whith so little understanding is not matching well with meWas this review helpful to you?

Did we all watch the same thing???like hello??
TOXIC & PROBLEMATIC STUFF PLAYED OFF AS COMEDY!! 100% agree with the negative reviews.I'm not saying chinese-BLs we've got so far are masterpieces, but they were worth it (even with censorship). Even the bad ones had a minimum standard. This new kind of Chinese dramas that surpass mainland release are turning out to be so crappy.
Cringe acting, logic-less plot, sub-par editing, bad direction & shitty screenplay-- i would've let it all slide, because it was entertaining upto a point, but the ML is toooo shitty, not just to the MC but others as well. Like he literally threatens to r*pe the MC's friend & it's played off as comedy. At first I thought it was a translation mistake, but no. He can't bare to force himself on the MC but other people are free real estate, like what the f*ck? Why are we normalising/romanticising this shit? This is why BL's get such a bad rep. Everyone would be up in arms if this was a mlw drama.
The MC is annoying as hell too. I actually like the second couple more, but don't know how they turn out, because I dropped it.
I once again urge the audience to stop praising less than mediocre content & demand the makers for quality.

You’re making me wish I were dead
Ep.2 :Guo Cheng Yu: Skillful in Medicine . Dr. Jiang, can you use your skills to rejuvenate me?
Jiang Xiao Shuai: *slaps him* I'm best at treating shameless guys
Ep.5:
Wu Suo Wei: My mom has been cautious all her life . That's why I want to make a lot of money. I want to be filial to her. But in my three business ventures , I was defeated by the same bully.
Chi Cheng: Don't worry . From now on. just charge forward. The bully has your back.
Ep. 7:
Chi Cheng: You knew I was coming. Why are you dressed so sulty?
Wu Suo Wei: Watch your mouth. This is a civilized place.
Chi Cheng: a civilized place?. Then may I ask how it bred such a sulty person like you?
Wu Suo Wei: Who are you calling sulty ?
Chi Cheng: Don't you know who I am calling sulty? It's been days. I've fucking missed you so much.
Wu Suo Wei: What are you doing? Let go! I bought you a present.
Chi Cheng: Like heck you did.
Wu Suo Wei: i really did!
Chi Cheng: Fine.
Chi Cheng: Da Bao. I might go on a bussiness trip tomorrow.
I'll be gone for four to five days.
Wu Suo Wei: *Go then. If you go , I can rest for few days and do some serious work*
Chi Cheng: I'm going with my girlfriend
Wu Suo Wei: *sulks* That's good. Thinks of it as a vacation.
Chi Cheng: What's wrong? Are you mad?
Wu Suo Wei: I'm great
Chi Cheng: Then turn around and look at me.
Wu Suo Wei: What's there to look at?
Chi Cheng: *tries to kiss him*
Wu Suo Wei: Chi Cheng , save it.
Chi Cheng: Don't you love this?
Wu Suo Wei: you...
Chi Cheng: Da Bao. Anyone can be mad at me , but you.
Wu Suo Wei: Why?
Chi Cheng: Because only when you're mad will I feel anxious. Also, I'll do as I promised.
Ep.8:
Chi Cheng: I knew that you didn't poison him. You did it to remind me to protect Xiao Su Bao. If I was a bit late today, you're the one who would have been hurt. Will you only be satisfied if you get stabbed and make me feel bad? Can you keep your tricks and stop scheming?
Wu Suo Wei: Well... I did it for Xiao Su Bao.
Chi Cheng: *hugs him* I was really scared just now
Wu Suo Wei: I'm fine now.
Chi Cheng: How dare you smile?
Wu Suo Wei: What's the matter? Seeing you heartbroken makes me so happy.
Chi Cheng: Fine. I'll let you see that all you want. (...) Can you not do this king of thing again? Whatever you do for me has nothing to do with me liking you or not. Even if you don't do anything , I'll still like you.
Wu Suo Wei: What if I lied to you and tricked you? What will you do?
Chi Cheng: Then I'll like you even more.
Wu Suo Wei: Why?
Chi Cheng: Because you'll owe me . Then it'll be justified to sleep with you.
Wu Suo Wei: You...
Chi Cheng: I've never wanted to sleep with anyone so much.
Wu Suo Wei: The way you express your affection is too straightforward
Chi Cheng: We're both freaking men. Should I say sweet-nothings to lie to you?
Ep. 10:
Wu Suo Wei: Let's break up.
Chi Cheng: You really don't want me to sleep with you, do you?
Wu Suo Wei: It's not that
Chi Cheng: Then what is it?
Wu Suo Wei: Actually, I lied to you.
Chi Cheng:What did you lie about?
Wu Suo Wei: Actually, I'm not who you think I am.
Chi Cheng: Then what are you like?
Wu Suo Wei: Actually, every second I am with you , I'm not myself. I don't like to read those books about economics and politics. I also don't want to dress up so nicely, act so gentlemany, or sound so articulate. Well...
Chi Cheng: *kiss him* Do you think that's how I see you? To me, you're just a little loser. I love it when you run around in your floral shorts, blowing sugar figurines like silly guy, catching sparrows like a fool, picking your feet and reading comic books. You're just my little loser. I'm mesmerized by your loser aura.
Chi Cheng: I thought you wouldn’t show up until 23:59. Looks like I overestimated your will power.
Wu Suo Wei: *kisses him passionately* *bites him* You’re mine
Chi Cheng: I’m yours.
Wu Suo Wei: Then you can’t sleep with him from now on.
Chi Cheng: I won’t sleep with him. Only with you.
Wu Suo Wei: Then from now on, when you’re with me, don’t think about him.
Chi Cheng: Don’t worry. Why would I think about him?
Wu Suo Wei: I’m warning you. That’s all his own business. No matter how talented he is , it’s his business. From now on, you’ll only hear my clear singing voice. No matter how fit he is , it’s still his business. You shouldn’t be concerned about his body. You should be concerned about the wound of my neck and chest. I don’t care if he is bold. Don’t use his integrity as a standard, and treat my self-respect as nothing.
Chi Cheng: *Jiang Xiao Shuai is really good at making things up* All right . I told you . I’m yours. Are you mine then?
Wu Suo Wei: Of course
Chi Cheng: Fine. Since you’re mine, shouldn’t we get a certificate? In this society, it’s really hard if you don’t have a certificate. Think about it. If you don’t have a certificate with me, who will you complain to if I run away one day?
Wu Suo Wei: If you run away, I’ll find someone else to get a certificate with.
Chi Cheng: Who the heck dares to steal my man? *kisses him passionately*
Chi Cheng: Where have you been? I haven’t been able to reach you since last night.
Wu Suo Wei: *ignores him*
Chi Cheng: Can’t you hear me?
Wu Suo Wei: Don’t touch me.
Chi Cheng: What does it mean?
Wu Suo Wei: I think you’re dirty.
Chi Cheng: What?
Wu Suo Wei: I said, I think you’re dirty.
Chi Cheng: You think I’m dirty?
Wu Suo Wei: Yes, Shengshi Club’s No.6 male escort, Xiao Tian, asked me to tell you that he misses you.
Chi Cheng: Did you have to go there to investigate me?. I don’t know how many people ‘ve slept with. I used to be this dirty. It’s not too late for you to regret it now.
Wu Suo Wei: If I regret it, would I have scolded you? What’s wrong with scolding you a bit? For the little dirty things you did, shouldn’t I scold you? I’m unhappy, I just want to say it out loud. I think you’re dirty. * pushes him out of the office *
Wu Suo Wei: Listen up everyone! From now on, we will bid this place farewell forever. I’m sorry for not supporting your business anymore. Who wants to see him? Take a good look. Once he’s out of this door , you won’t get the chance to look at him again.
Chi Cheng: What does it mean?
Wu Suo Wei: Let’s go home and get a certificate. *It’s really worrying when you go out with a certificate nowadays*
Wu Suo Wei: Where are we?
Chi Cheng: My new home. However, it’s going to be your new home soon too, my little master.
Ep.13
Wu Suo Wei: Actually, I had an ulterior motive when I approached you back then.
Chi Cheng: What ulterior motive?
*silence*
Chi Cheng: That’s enough. Didn’t you have a girlfriend whom you dated for three years? She despised the poor and curried favor with the rich and dumped you. Then you wanted to borrow my shoulder to climb on.
Wu Suo Wei: You knew I had a girlfriend of three years?
Chi Cheng: Yes
Wu Suo Wei: Then… Then… Do you know who she is?
Chi Cheng: No. But I don’t want to know either.
Wu Suo Wei: Why?
Chi Cheng: Because I can’t stand that you had an unforgettable relationship in a history that I can’t change.
Gang Zi: Wu Suo Wei’s not coming home yet?
Chi Cheng: What time is it now?
Gang Zi: It’s 12 am.
Chi Cheng: It’s still early then. He leaves early every day and comes home late. He’s so focused on work.
Gang Zi: Is your company that busy?
Chi Cheng: There has been a lot of work lately. However, he doesn’t have to sleep in the office every day.
Gang Zi: Would he cheat on you at the office behind your back?
Chi Cheng:No way. He doesn’t have the guts to do that.
Gang Zi: He doesn’t have the guts, but he’s so handsome with his sparkling eyes. Other people might have the guts.
Ep. 15.
Guo Cheng Yu: Don’t hang out with him anymore. Let me tell you. With people like him, who knows what he wants to do?
Before this, he asked me for your address. And he said. He said the first time he saw you, he really liked you. He wanted to send you some food. But he send… And… you even let him sleep over. I… I haven’t even slept over at your place yet.
Jiang Xiao Shuai: *gives him a cheek kiss*
Guo Cheng Yu: *kisses him*
Wu Suo Wei: You’re sorry. You’re sorry again. Before this, asking you to say those words would have almost killed you. Now, you said them twice in three days.
Ep.16:
Chi Cheng: Let me tell you, I only harbour respect for you now in waiting for you for six years. Listen carefully, I said six years not seven. Since last year, *points his heart* this doesn’t belong to you anymore.
Ep.18:
Chi Cheng: What is this? Can you explain it to me?
Wu Suo Wei: Haven’t you already seen it?
Chi Cheng: What did I see?
Wu Suo Wei: You saw my true intention in approaching you
Chi Cheng: So you’ve always been in contact with her? Even after you broke up, you’ve been thinking about her and want to reconcile?
Wu Suo Wei: Think whatever you want.
Chi Cheng: Wu Suo Wei , I don’t care what your original intention was. We’ve been together for so long. You must have been at least a little sincere to me. As long as you say yes, I’ll let bygones be bygones.
Wu Suo Wei: No. I dated you just to get revenge on you and Yue Yue, Now, I want to use your ways to make money. Once I’m rich enough to fulfil Yue Yue’s requests, I’ll get back together with her. I’m straight. Why should I be with you forever?
Chi Cheng: Wu Suo Wei. You win. You’re making me wish I were dead. You’re really good. I accept my defeat. I deserve it. I brought this upon myself!
Wu Suo Wei: You wish you were dead? Have you ever loved me? Ask yourself. Are these words appropriate to use on me?
Chi Cheng: Yes. I’ve never loved you. You slept over at someone else’s house, and I didn’t fight with you. You flirted right under my nose, and I didn’t even go off on you. Just scolding you made me suffer for days. I’d rather kick you out than yell at you. How is that love? Right? You think I love him,and I don’t love you. You think I’m too good for you. It’s not enough to prove how much I love you. Fine. From now on, I’ll change. I’ll be good to him. Let’s never meet again. Let’s never get in touch.
Wu Suo Wei: Okay. Fine. *sends him a video* This is the evidence I found for you. Seven years ago, Wand Shuo and Guo Cheng Yu didn’t have sex. Congratulations. Your issue is resolved. Now, you can get back together with him.
Chi Cheng: I’m so happy. I’m so happy that I don’t know what to say. Wu Suo Wei, thank you. Thank you for being so good to me. Thank you for paving the way for us. This is the end for us
*Chi Cheng walks away*
Wu Suo Wei :Don’t you know whether I love you or not
Ep. 19:
Wu’s mom: Xiao Chi. Come here.
Chi Cheng: Mrs. Wu. I’m here, I’m here
Wu’s mom: I… I…. I know. I understand you two.
Chi Cheng: Mrs. Wu, I’m sorry I didn’t hear you. Say it again. Repeat it.
Wu’s mom: I…. I am… I’m just afraid for you two. This path might be… It might be a very difficult one
difficult
Chi Cheng: Mrs. Wu, Mrs. Wu It’s okay. You’ll be fine.
Wu’s mom: You and him should be good together.
Chi Cheng: Mrs Wu….
Ep.20:
Wu Suo Wei: Why are you here?
Chi Cheng: To laugh at you.
Wu Suo Wei: I hear Wang Zhen took Wang Shuo away. Why aren’t you going after him?
Chi Cheng: I haven’t see you upset enough. How can I leave thing Wang Shuo?
Wu Suo Wei: Fine. Look. Look all you want in one go.
Chi Cheng: Look at how thin you are now.
Wu Suo Wei: *start to cry without making a sound*
Chi Cheng: You used to be all right. Now, you don’t even look human. You know what?. Seeing you like this now makes me feel so good. Cry. I’m here to see you cry today. The more you cry , the happier I am. You tricked me. You deserve to suffer. No one would feel bad for you.
Wu Suo Wei: *begins to make a sound while crying*
Chi Cheng: Stop crying ! Do you hear me? *no response* I told you to stop crying. Do you hear me? *still no response, only Wu Suo Wei crying* Wei Wei, stop crying. Don’t cry *hugs him*. All right. That’s enough Wei Wei. Don’t cry. Be good. Be good. Be good.
Wu Suo Wei: Don’t go.
Chi Cheng: I’m not leaving. I’ll get you some tissues.
Wu Suo Wei: Don’t go
Chi Cheng: *hugs him again* Okay, I won’t go. I’m not leaving. I won’t leave. Did you wipe your snot on my clothes? I just changed into these clothes.
Wu Suo Wei: I don’t care. I want you to stay with me.
Chi Cheng: Okay
Wu Suo Wei:You have to stay with me.
Chi Cheng: How about this?. I’ll travel with you in a couple of days. What do you think?
Wu Suo Wei: *nods* Then why did you… Why did you come to see me today?
Chi Cheng: I want to come whenever I want, depending on how long I can bear you being away from me.
Wu Suo Wei: Then from now on, don’t ever leave me again.
Chi Cheng: I won’t leave you again. I won’t. I won’t leave anymore.
Ep. 21:
Chi Cheng:Are you exhausted?
Guo Cheng Yu: I’m okay.
Chi Cheng: Did you get your fill?
Guo Cheng Yu: Yes
Chi Cheng: I’m freaking asking you about that stuff.
Guo Cheng Yu: That’s what I’m freaking talking about.
Wu Suo Wei:How was Cheng Yu?
Jiang Xiao Shuai:He’s probably better than Chi Cheng.
Wu Suo Wei: No way! Cheng Yu, how many times a night can …
(…)
Chi Cheng: In order to get you fed, I freaking didn’t get my fill. I have pimples now.
Ep. 23:
Chi Cheng: Have a seat. *hids his handcuffed hands* Why did you lose weight?
Wu Suo Wei: Did you miss me?
Chi Cheng: What do you think?
Wu Suo Wei: How would I know?
Chi Cheng: I missed you. Did you miss me?
Wu Suo Wei: I did.
Chi Cheng: How much?
Wu Suo Wei: I missed you so much that I handed over my little treasury.
Chi Cheng: What did you say?
Wu Suo Wei: It’s nothing . Your case will go to trial in two days.
Chi Cheng: Besides the little treasury, what else did you give up?
Wu Suo Wei: The old house.
Chi Cheng: Why didn’t you sell my house?
Wu Suo Wei: I don’t want your family to look down on me.
Chi Cheng: Then borrow money from Cheng Yu.
Wu Suo Wei: It’s because the two of us are family.
You always said I’m a cheapskate who doesn’t spend anything. This time , I spent everything. Let’s see how you can diss me in the future. You’re my financer. As long as you come back, I can make money. If you stay in here, I’ll suffer the biggest loss. So after calculating it, it’s better to get you out of here.
*silence*
Actually, I regret it too. I should have given you more allowance back then. Now that I’ve given the money to other people, I realize that 10 or 20 yuan is really nothing.
Actually, my little treasury is for our retirement. If you can’t get out, what’s the use of the money to me? So, I’m not buying your freedom, I’m buying my own security. You know what? When I sleep at home all alone now, I feel really scared. I just want you to come back. I don’t want a life of luxury. I only want you. Chi Cheng say something. Chi Cheng! Say something
Chi Cheng: I hate you. *leaves*
Ep.24:
Guo Cheng Yu: You care about the world. You practice medicine to treat the sick. Shuai Shuai, you’re responsible for loving the world . I’m responsible for loving you.
Wu Suo Wei: I have a home again.

This was the most unexpected outcome you could imagen...
First of all I think the director did relat good with the casting part. I find that all the actors really show all the sides of the character they are playing. Each actor is trying his/her best to make the character look real.I also realy like how the snakes of chi cheng represent his mood and different sides. This is probably one most over looked part of the series.
I also really like the 2nd leads especially the doctor. I fins him very funny and helpful at the same time. He is just there for support for dou bo. I hope in the upcoming episodes we will see his love life grow with the other 2nd lead (forget his name). I like that 2nd lead to because even tho he is sort of enemy's with chi cheng he tries his best to help him behind the scenes I think he views chi cheng as some sort of friend one way or another.
for dou bo. I love his funny and goofy character... and how he finely realized he was in love with chi cheng but one way just made it funny again by saying "I don't wanna be something with him bc I will surely be bottom then" that made me laugh. Dou bo is also realy caring. Not much to say about him further tho...
Now for chi cheng. He has this bad ass vibe he had with almost everyone else but the second he is with his baby (dou bo) he shows his soft and caring side. Realy love his energie.
Now for the last and most shocking part for me. Where is the concent. I love the love life of dou bo and chi cheng but where is the concent...? It just looks like chi cheng is r#ping dou bo each time. I know dou bo pretended to be into chi cheng at first but that does not give you the right to do anything you want with him. Dou bo clearly set some boundaries but chi cheng just keep crossing them.
Further love to this series. The actors are ready well and the story is viking.
