Plot Is Sometimes Bonkers But Performances On Point
There are many warranted and unwarranted criticisms here on Reloved's MDL page and if you're looking to figure out whether or not to watch, hopefully the preponderance of the evidence will help you decide. I truly enjoyed the small story they told, even if the narrative itself was sometimes outlandish and uneven. I would highly recommend it for its performances and its commitment to showing a segment of queer life not often represented on screen.First and foremost, kudos to the writers and production team for giving a glimpse of queer love that mirrors more the daily lived experience of many queer men outside of the falling in love arc. We rarely if ever see gay men raising children, trying and sometimes failing to "launch" adult lives, all while the giant roulette wheel of life throws unexpected triumphs and tragedies in willy nilly. We sometimes forget that life truly is luck- both good and bad- and life will throw both at us whether we deserve the type we get or not.
Far too often queer representation wallows in the (very real) tragedies and neglects to tell other stories. P'Than has loving, solidly middle-class parents who embrace the totality of who he is, as well as embracing (without forced villainy for conflict's sake) the truth of people and their situations. They respond to life and their children's lives as thinking, rational adults and are supportive. These are not parents who neglect grandchildren simply because they are unhappy about the choices and mistakes the adult's who made them have committed. They reflect the kind of parent I hope I am to my queer child.
I will thoroughly concede that the "mystery" behind why our MLs broke up in the past drags on for far too many episodes. However, I understand Akin's commitment to that secret. He is not keeping this secret simply for himself or to exacerbate the story's conflict. In fact, to break the promise he made to Meya and reveal the secret would have long-lasting and potentially detrimental consequences for not only Meya, but for Mawin as well. He is silent because he has chosen to be a father. Though not explicitly stated in the script, the performance attests to the internal conflict Akin feels. He wants to be done with the secrecy for his own selfish reason, but that is balanced heavily by the commitment he made to be in Mawin's life. To reveal the mystery is to potentially put Mawin at risk emotionally and psychologically. Perhaps this was too underwritten to be made clear to the audience, but I certainly saw that tension in his arc. As a single mother I may have overly-identified with the need to put your own wants and desires on the back burner and make choices for your child that protect his emotional and psychological well-being. But the production team certainly laid out that internal conflict within the five axis of film, whether it was in the juxtaposition of scene and flashback, or the way the camera stayed with Akin as the conflict played out on his face when looking at Mawin and P'Than.
And the Don situation. While others find it a weakness of the series, I find it is one of its strengths and reinforces the team's commitment to tell a "real story." Sometimes, no matter how hard we commit to growth and understanding, the aforementioned roulette wheel lands on a number you didn't deserve. You can do everything right- every choice, every introspection, grab every opportunity to be a better version of yourself- and still be dealt an illogical and cruel blow by life. This isn't just reflected in Don's arc, but in the gym's struggle are as well. This too is often neglected on screen and is a shame. Sometimes I'm tired of the happy ending because who hasn't at some point sat at night and lamented, "I've done everything right- so why does so much of my life feel unfair?".
So with all of its weaknesses, why did I love it? Authenticity. In the midst of the sometimes outlandish script, the actors made me care deeply about the characters and forgive the plot's shortcomings. The authenticity of performance, the glimpse into a segment of the queer community not often represented, and the obvious love of the production staff to tell this story won out over the flaws. Yes, so many of us turn to dramas for escapism, but sometimes that escapism- ironically- has the opposite effect; it makes us lament the unfairness that life sometimes throws our way. In its bid for authenticity, this drama dared to show that we are not always in control of the outcomes in our lives. Sometimes there is a car accident. Sometimes one success doesn't automatically breed another and we fail even though we did everything "right." Sometimes we have to make choices against our own self-interest because the roles we chose to assume have to take precedence. It was very comforting to see a drama that dared to say, "the happy ending doesn't always come in the package you expect or even at all- and it's not always your fault."

one of the better thai BL's
I dont know why this BL was rated so low as i thought it was very good and I have watched 95 percent of all of them and there is defiantly a lot of 2 stars out there ....the acting for all the mains was very good, the office time did get on my nerves as a bit childish but they were not in it much , the story i thought was excellent , the intimate scenes were well acted especially between actors pond and don these were the 2nd couple and the shock that came with them did totally take me by surprise ...than and akin OMG what a cute couple so smiley ....i loved this and will be looking forward to watching them again ...great work guysWas this review helpful to you?

2nd Couple should have been the main couple...
Why twice in this series does the 2nd couple like hallucinate...And how fast didnt Don go meet another dude at the restaurant 🙄
Then he "sees" Pond there.. then without them talking their issue out, Pond is at home making supper for Don, who then dies before he gets to him..when did they patch things up?
Main couple...how for 5 years can u have a misunderstanding? Also, doesnt that prove then that Kin didnt trust Than if he could think he knocked up a chick?
And shame, the poor gym partner dude, he loved Than for 5 years.
And at the wedidng when he stands there and confess all this, Than just stands there and smiles .
And poor Pond hallucinates again seeing Don.
They did us dirty, i liked them more than the main couple.
I got really sad for Pond Don. His first boyfriend and it ends like that.

A Promising Ride That Lost Its Way
This series started off really well, and honestly, I was hooked in the beginning. The chemistry between the leads was believable, and it felt like it was building toward something meaningful. But then… it just kind of fell apart. The show kept teasing the big reveal of why the main couple broke up, and I was patiently waiting for that payoff. When it finally came, though, it was such a letdown, bordering on stupidity. It’s frustrating because the first half was genuinely enjoyable. The leads looked great together, and their chemistry carried a lot of the weaker moments. But chemistry can only do so much when the writing feels disconnected and the story doesn’t deliver on its own setup. Still, I can’t deny that I had fun with the earlier episodes. Reloved dépeint une histoire longue, absurde et parfois même ridicule. Une intrigue principale mince n'est pas un problème, mais elle le devient lorsqu'elle est mal amenée et pourrait se résoudre en une conversation d'une minute trente. De plus, l'accumulation des malentendus rend l'ensemble pénible.Le couple principal ? Ennuyeux. Personnellement, je n'ai trouvé aucun intérêt en ces deux-là. En revanche, le couple secondaire dégage plus de curiosités. Et pourtant, que font les scénaristes ? Ils décident de créer du drame, évinçant le seul intérêt de la série (à mes yeux, en tout cas). Il existe de meilleurs moyens pour transmettre des messages. Utiliser un tel retournement pour le faire ? C'est naze.
Le jeu d'acteur n'est pas exceptionnel. Parfois, ils semblent raides, débitant leurs dialogues sans y apporter d'émotion. Cela dit, ce n'est pas une catastrophe non plus, la plupart du temps, l'ensemble fonctionne. Finalement, je pourrais revoir quelques parties du couple secondaire, mais le reste ? Non.
En bref, Reloved souffre d'une intrigue mal menée, de personnages peu convaincants et d'un jeu d'acteur parfois raide. Plutôt décevant, malgré quelques bons moments.

Se for apenas isso, não assista Reloved.A série apresenta, de forma simples e com baixo orçamento, histórias profundamente reais. Situações que podem acontecer a qualquer momento, com qualquer pessoa. Ela propõe reflexões duras sobre os danos causados pela falta de diálogo nos relacionamentos. Fala sobre amizades, intrigas, invejas e, principalmente, sobre a fuga constante dos problemas.
Temos um personagem mais velho, que se deixa conduzir pela opinião alheia enquanto evita enfrentar os conflitos com quem deveria ser o centro de sua atenção. Em contraste, surge um personagem mais jovem, firme em seus sentimentos, fiel ao amor e às próprias convicções. A narrativa atravessa temas delicados como família, perda de filhos, traições e tentativas de recomeço.
Reloved fala sobre a vida como ela é. Sobre amor, medo de ser julgado, medo de amar livremente e sobre rupturas que acontecem de forma abrupta. Nem sempre a vida oferece segundas chances. Alguns finais não permitem retorno. E essa talvez seja a maior lição do BL, e também a maior verdade sobre a existência.
A vida acaba. E quando a morte aparece, ela traz dor, revolta e silêncio. Na vida real e também na ficção. Reloved entrega uma mensagem dura sobre a finitude da vida e, talvez por tocar em um medo que todos carregamos, despertou a fúria de muitos espectadores que esperavam, acima de tudo, um final feliz.

Reloved The Series เริ่มใหม่หัวใจเดิม เป็นซีรีย์ที่มีพล็อตน่าสนใจ เล่าเรื่องความรักตั้งแต่วัยนักศึกษาไปจนถึงการเริ่มต้นใหม่ในช่วงวัยทำงาน โดยภาพรวมถือว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งซีรีย์ที่มีคุณภาพ และสามารถดึงความสนใจของผู้ชมได้ดีตลอดการรับชมจุดเด่นของเรื่องคือปมความสัมพันธ์ของคู่หลัก ที่ทิ้งคำถามไว้ในทุกตอนว่าทำไมทั้งสองคนถึงเลิกรากันในอดีต ซึ่งทำให้คนดูต้องคอยติดตามและคาดเดาคำตอบไปเรื่อย ๆ และเมื่อเรื่องราวค่อย ๆ คลี่คลาย ก็พบว่าสิ่งที่คาดการณ์ไว้ในตอนแรกอาจไม่เป็นอย่างที่คิด ทำให้การดูซีรีย์มีความสนุกและน่าติดตามมากขึ้น
ในส่วนของการแสดง นักแสดงแต่ละคนถ่ายทอดบทบาทออกมาได้อย่างสมบทบาท มีเสน่ห์เฉพาะตัว ทำให้ตัวละครดูมีชีวิตและเข้าถึงอารมณ์ได้ไม่ยาก
สิ่งที่อยากขอเสนอแนะเล็กน้อยคือ ในทุกตอนจะมีการเล่าเหตุการณ์ในอดีตแทรกเข้ามาเป็นระยะ ๆ ซึ่งในมุมมองส่วนตัว หากมีการเล่าเรื่องราวในอดีตให้จบเป็นช่วงเดียว อาจช่วยให้การรับชมดูเข้าใจง่ายและต่อเนื่องมากยิ่งขึ้น

Something is not ok
Ok, I didn't like this series and is rare to me say something like that, and is not about the acting or the story is about the way they told the story, I mean the central couple, the protagonist they didn't have grow up, didn't have a big conflict, bro I didn't connect with them instead the secondary couple steal the entire spotlight, that is why I believe they kill one of them, because they took the protagonism. Honestly I'm giving an 8 because of the second couple, for the rest the entire show spend 8 episode to solve a misunderstanding problem, that's it, that's the main thing, one of the protagonist believe the other get pregnant a girl and instead of talking spend years away without telling nothing like really? a disappointed story honestlyWas this review helpful to you?
Serie entretenida
La serie trata de segundas oportunidades en una relación de pareja. Unos estudiantes se enamoran y por un malentendido rompen, años después se reencuentran y vuelven a entrelazarse sus vidas. La historia en sí surge por falta de comunicación y se podía haber resuelto facilmente sí, pero sino no habría historia jaja. La serie merece la pena si te gustan las comedias románticas. La segunda pareja se roba muchos buenos momentos de la serie.En resumen es entretenida y merece la pena verla.
