Yang Yang, Zhang Ruo Nan's Chinese wuxia drama 'Zhan Zhao Adventures' announces premiere date
Jung Eun Chae will be making a special appearance in The Dream Life of Mr. Kim.
The Dream Life of Mr. Kim tells the story of Kim Nak Su (Ryu Seung Ryong), a middle-aged career man, who, after losing everything he valued, discovers his true self — not as a manager at a large corporation, but as his genuine self — following a long journey.
In the K-drama, Jung Eun Chae takes on the role of forewoman at a factory, Lee Joo Young. Lee Joo Young is a character created exclusively for the drama The Dream Life of Mr. Kim, one who does not appear in the original novel. She stands out for her strong leadership and ability to bring employees together. Whenever an issue arises in the factory, Lee Joo Young is the first person everyone turns to.
She is set to clash at every turn — from work methods to employee management — with Kim Nak Su (Ryu Seung Ryong), the manager of Sales Team 1, who comes from headquarters.
The production team of The Dream Life of Mr. Kim stated, "In the drama, Manager Kim and foreman Lee work together as colleagues while also engaging in intense power struggles as competitors who must assert their positions. Please look forward to Jung Eun Chae's passionate performance, which will bring fresh entertainment as a character created specially for the drama."
The Dream Life of Mr. Kim is coming October 25. The K-drama will be streaming on Netflix.
