'My Royal Nemesis', 'If Wishes Could Kill', 'Sold Out on You' sweep Netflix rankings
Pyo Ye Jin shares how Jang Na Ra, who took on her first-ever villain role through Taxi Driver Season 3, came to be cast in the iconic role.
Recently, Pyo Ye Jin conducted an interview commemorating the conclusion of SBS's Friday–Saturday drama Taxi Driver Season 3.

Taxi Driver Season 3 follows employees of Rainbow Taxi, a taxi company operated by Jang Seong Cheol (Kim Eui Sung), the head of the crime victims' support center Blue Bird Foundation, who carry out revenge on behalf of those wronged. Led by former special forces officer-turned taxi driver Kim Do Gi (Lee Je Hoon), the team includes white hacker An Go Eun (Pyo Ye Jin), former automobile development researcher Choi Gyeong Gu (Jang Hyuk Jin), and former aircraft maintenance mechanic Park Jin Eon (Bae Yoo Ram) — mechanics at Rainbow Taxi.
Commenting on whether she felt the global popularity of Season 3, as the series was also released on Netflix, Pyo said, "It was fascinating to see comments from so many different countries. I knew it was being distributed internationally, but I was surprised to know so many are watching it."
Considering the series has been able to continue for five years with the same cast could be due to the fact that none of the cast members have been involved in controversies. Since Taxi Driver carries the message of delivering justice, when asked if she ever felt pressure to live righteously, she said, "None of us cause trouble. Kim Eui Sung sunbae also said, 'How wonderful it is that our Je Hoon doesn't even drink. I'll just live freely as long as I follow the law (laughs). I'm not the type of person who would go around causing trouble, but I do try to live properly — properly, but freely. And all of our team members share that mindset, which I'm really grateful for. I'm trying to stay healthy for as long as possible."

This season in particular had a star-studded lineup of villains, including Kasamatsu Show, Yoon Shi Yoon, Eum Moon Suk, and Jang Na Ra.
Jang Na Ra's performance as Kang Ju Ri, the CEO of an entertainment agency and a former girl group member, created quite a buzz, as it marks her first attempt at a villain role since her acting debut.
Pyo Ye Jin previously worked with Jang Nara on the drama VIP, which aired in 2019. The actress revealed that Jang Na Ra had long been a fan of the Taxi Driver series, adding, "She had said that she wanted to appear even if it was just as a passing extra (laughs)."
Pyo went on to share behind-the-scenes details, saying, "We talked about it during a meal early on in Season 3, and the director and staff really liked the idea. I told them that she would love it if she had even a small role. But I never imagined they'd give her such a major villain role."

Pyo added, "When episode 10 aired, I went over to her place, and we watched it together. She was nervous the entire time. Even after it ended, she kept saying, 'eotteoke'. I told her I really enjoyed it and asked what there was to worry about."
Sharing her plans as she welcomes the new year after wrapping up Taxi Driver 3, Pyo shared, "In the past, I used to make plans, but nowadays I just think, 'Let's get through it safely and in good health.' I do have ambitions when it comes to work, and I want to get a project where I can show a new side of myself. I definitely plan to do that."
