Arclei:
I'm too stubborn to drop them
I really dislike abandoning a drama that I've spent time on, regardless of its size. I also feel guilty because the actors have put in a lot of effort to bring the story to life, and part of me feels like I'm being unfair to them, as if to say, 'This is terrible; everything about it is awful. You did a poor job.' So, I just can't bring myself to drop them.

I usually get into a finishing-off mood every once in a while and tackle some.
I tend to be a creature of habit or perhaps obsession. If I discover a character or a story that I truly adore, I will rewatch it several times a year without hesitation, neglecting any new series or unfinished titles I may have started. This is partly because, if it's a drama I've already seen I know I'll enjoy it. I will appreciate it again. I apply the same approach to all my hobbies IRL. lol

maybe @Tina's Clean-Up Challenge could help.
Initially, I assumed the challenge you were referring to was @Estelll's Spring Cleaning Watch Challenge, but it turns out it's something entirely different. Tina's challenge might be more beneficial for me regarding the dramas I started this year but haven't finished. Watching two episodes a day feels much more doable than attempting to binge a whole series at once. I just wrapped up The Journey of Legend, which surprised me since I usually struggle with series that exceed 20 episodes, this one had 40. However, I was following this drama as it aired, so I only had to commit to two episodes daily, which definitely eased the pressure.

other than the two buddy-watches on your corrently watching, I only saw Connection
I typically don't add the dramas I'm having trouble finishing to my "On-Hold List", but I do keep a mental note of which ones would belong there. Dramas that I began at the start of this year are listed under my "Completed In 2025 list". Throughout the year, I like to maintain a record of the dramas I'm currently watching as well as those I've finished on that list too. When the year comes to a close, I transfer the dramas I have on hold to my on-hold list. This approach allows me to monitor the start dates and episode counts for each series I haven't completed, all in one convenient location. It acts as a way to keep myself accountable; it's my intention to do so; otherwise, I might never return to them since I rarely check any of the other lists that MDL provides. The only individuals who likely look at my lists are probably MDL users.
