Wow. I didn't know that. I just think people are taking this too seriously in general. The world (hopefully) will still be here when the hubby is revealed, lol. I just find it sad that instead of enjoying the show, we have to hear people judging others instead. For me, I like Trash, but I like Chilbong more; I've got no problems with fans who see it the other way around.

Hoping is something that can't be helped. It's natural to hope. So just go on. :)

Ikr! The show has really messed with the viewers' heads. The whole prod team must be overjoyed at the success of their 'trolling'. By the end of the series, it would have gained two polar audiences who either loved the drama or hated it... And there might be some who are left torn in the middle. Me, I'm still on Team Chilbong although I've taken two steps back trying to see the wider picture the drama is trying to make.
I don't know if everyone is clear or not about the endgame but I became 200% that's Trash.
The books in the house are clearly medical books, even with that "watching baseball" book which can belong to Na Jung's brother. Also, The baseball scene explains it all. First, SCP wouldn't wonder why is a baseball doing in the house if it was Na Jung and Chil Bong's house. Second, Chil Bong said that he will take the ball from Trash (when he takes Na Jung from him) but he didn't take her back and the ball remained with Trash but since he already got over the past, he was looking at it with a smile and even threw it back to Trash. If it was the other way around and Chil Bong was the husband then he wouldn't throw the ball to the loser saying "hey, I am a winner and you lost", but if he wasn't the husband then throwing the ball to Trash means that he has no hard feelings and that he forgot about the past.
With this, the writers have a lot of explaining to do. I clearly remember that in the marriage part in episode 10 when Na Jung was coming in; the groom's parents were definitely not Trash's so are they going to change them after that or what? My guess is, the screenwriters had their mind on Chil Bong as the husband from the beginning and since the first 10 episodes are preshot, we got all the 2013 and the wedding clues to CB's favor but after episode 10, it's the freaking live shooting system that I hate with passion where the writers have to change their script for the ratings and the public's reactions. That's why, things became so unbalanced after episode 10.
I am getting tired of "who's the husband" game and the writers' jerking around. I wish they wouldn't keep this up until the last episode.

Amen. Hallelujah! The guessing game will get old and if they keep on putting viewers on a pendulum, no one will be completely happy with their ship.

You know that I am not a shipper so whatever the outcome is, I will be alright with it but dragging the whole mystery thing isn't fun at all. That's how I feel so what about the shippers who are most definitely going to get disappointed? I wish they would made things clear from the beginning or just make things clear now and focus on their characters' developments and how everyone lived their lives during those 20 years. That would be much better.
*just butting in, excuse me, excuse me XDD*
Honestly, this show is kinda getting on my nerves! First, because for the first episodes I was sooo sure that it was going to be Chil Bong (I'm team chil bong, btw), with all the wedding stuff...I dunno, i just had the feeling...and then, BAM, Trash and Na Jeung start dating and the whole basebal thing...I don't know why, but I think there might be happening something in the writers' room, because Reply 1997 was NOT like this! You were also wondering who she was going to marry and all that crap, but not like this!! I mean, they throw you a ball on trash, them chil bong, i'm SERIOUSLY confused! and i'm at that point where I'm not sure i'm starting to like it!! I think they're going to keep the mistery until the end and i'm gonna be really pissed off...
And btw, the husband is Trash..I mean, you're not gonna spend 15 ep with na jeong heads over heels for the oppa and now in 5 episodes left, huuuge twist..neh...i don't think so!
At the same time, I really hope the writers are sticking up to what they wrote and thought in the beginning and not being influenced by public opinion or whatever...
Well for Reply 1997 it worked the part of only knowing the husband in the last episode. Both main leads were pro active and the fact that she didn't talk with the future husband for a few years balanced things. Now this looks too... forced? Don't know but they should just admit that trash is the husband and make a huge turn in chilbong life for him to get a cute girl. He totally deserves.

I read this somewhere and I got this meaning : "We will see Na Jun looking at the four men and then she will say: no matter who's the husband is, I am happy with him and we're all friends for life then BANG! the ending". That imagination got me laughing, but really what if they do it?

Exactly! That's what I call "The writers trolling around". They're trying to keep their poor mystery plot that's getting more and more irritating; Many scenes in 2013 belong to Chil Bong and many scenes in the past belong to Trash. It's like they're playing ball with viewers' minds or something.

Oh god that idea just made me remember such a bad memory... *coughFuture's Choice*cough. An ending like that would just make me on drama hiatus for sure.

This. Na Jeong's character development is suspended now that she's together with Trash. I mean no offense but really,we already saw her cleaning the whole boarding house before and now she cleaned his apartment--is this progress? In Reply 1997, the characters were able to move on from the 90s into the new millennium (they showed us life after high school, life at work etc) and by doing so they showed certain growth in each character. Reply 1994's pace puts more weight in the 90s and now we find ourselves left with 6 episodes with more than a decade to cover.

Is he going away for good? LOL JK! XD Ah Ra is obviously playing. All the scripts for 20 episodes have been completed since last week and all the spoilers I've seen so far are her and Jung Woo filming together.

I'm not expecting a huge twist as well and the last statement. I read somewhere that the writers/prod team/PD were open to change who the hubby is based on public sentiment. And I was like, haaa? Are they for real? Don't they have a strong belief that the audience is going to accept what they've written?
Ni_azevedo wrote: Well don't know if will be gone for good. The previews are always fooling me but it showed her parents talking asking him if he was really going and that it was the best for him and Na jeong and him were sit next to each other in a sad scene.
I think that he will go away because of internship like his mentor told them "Go have fun with your girlfriends because you're probably going to break-up with them when the internship starts". He will go away for study and they will be apart for a while, then he will come back and they will get married unless the twist I am hoping for will happen.
