Notes:   Slow, serious & no romance.  Tag says comedy, but only a few scenes.  Something just seemed missing....?  Wasn't a fan of rich out of wedlock wife, but she grew on me.  Timid wife angered me...you divorce abusers asap when children are involved.  Her daughter I never liked because she was cruel/mean. I didn't recognize Kim Bo Ra...thought she was a boy w/that awful haircut at 1st.  Mi Ran (spunky warm divorced mom) , Kyu Jin (FL2's warm son), & Jun Young (ML, teen, bastard son brought to rich dad's family) liked a lot.  Suk Yong hated the misogynistic character but loved the actors acting.  Ae Yeon plays FL's 1/2 sister but wondered if she is a he IRL.  Loved the pink/white cat statue inside the cafe that had many scenes.

Ending - 2 husbands & pervert principal sent to jail.  ML's biological mom working for FL in spa.  ML has failed his exams 2x & plans to take a 3rd time.  FL returns 1 year later & they meet at cafe.  They see a woman outside the window being treated badly by her husband & they rush towards her.

Notes:   Great starting episodes then draggy.  FL amazing acting w/ a few over acting scenes. FL went after people who treated her bad 1st.  There were soo many that did.  However, her lack of empathy for good people like Jae O, cafe owner & fellow boyfriend actor were maddening.   Loved Jae O & In Gang & the actors that played them.  FL may have had split seconds of empathy? (Grandma's hug, when FL said she wanted to try dating, sheds tear at end act as ML2 dies, standing on cliff looking at car accident).  ML, her stepbrother, was too obsessed w/saving her.  Surprise scene FL did not push Grandma down steps.  ML thought she did & ML2 never believed she would.  Comparing FL of this drama to FL in Genie Make A Wish you can see how masterful antisocial personality disorder is portrayed by Kim You Jung.  ML doesn't use footage from Jae O to put FL's husband in jail..Ugh.

--- 2 Kisses between FL + fellow agency actor on sidewalk.  1st lips on lips followed by mutual minimal munching.  Great chemistry between these actors.  

Ending - Jae O sacrifices himself to get recording of FL's husband as a killer.  Jun Seo tries to kill FL in car accident w/himself.  He dies she lives.  Scene of visitor to FL's ashes urn most likely her w/new face + identity. Open ending so a sequel is possible.

Notes:   Chemistry w/main leads good. Wanted more chemistry between FL & ML2, but ML2 was too closed off/hard to tell what he was thinking.  He repeated a few times he was taking control of the situation even after FL said she liked ML...big red flag.  ML's viciousness like getting her kidnapped/family violence history is a red flag too.  FL can change him?...I think yes because it is already happening.  ML2's red hair wig bad/distracting.  ML good looking.  Enjoyed ML & especially FL's acting.  FL character strong & weak at same time.  Saw the party farce a mile away...surprised she did not.  Aunt/uncle marrying FL off but being super nice about it so manipulative/odd.  FL accepting Yuri's proposal then kissing ML soooo not cool.  Music was good.  Lots of English spoken..very interesting.  Fighting scenes fake looking.

--- ML2 kisses FL = lips on lips no heat.  Leads kiss about 6 times.  Lips on lips but some emotion.

Ending - ML steals FL away from her engagement party to confess his love while Yuri waits for her.  He is about to tell her about his deceit, but she kisses him.  Unanswered questions for season 2:  FL's reason for amnesia.  Will FL find out what ML did?  If yes what will she think?

Notes:   Music selections were not the best.  A lot of focus on dancing & contestants.  Only a few good voices & many improved as show progressed.  The comradery seemed genuine, funny & happy.  "Mr. Sexy" should have been removed a lot sooner.  Yumeki's long stint in the show baffled me.  Loved the dog [Choon Bae], Kany, seeing Ong Seong Wu, seeing Kim Jae Joong as a Master & the scene where boys handmade portrait T-shirts were given to the Masters.  Rooted for all the contestants...no one stole my heart.  Language barrier did not seem too much of an issue which I found intriguing.

Notes:   Pics make it look better than it is.  Thought it was going to be comedy but FL, FL's friend, FL's mom & family dynamics were not fun.  The FL as a plain jane w/no self-esteem learning to love herself was the main theme.  However, the FL was too plain, cruel & selfish.  Hot popular ML smitten w/ FL totally unbelievable.  Was rooting for a total break-up & ML finding a girl who brought/supported the wonderfully weird person he was.  The side characters were engaging...Brown, Pink, Khaki, & Black finger.  Enjoyed FL's little brother story arc.  Loved the shaggy dog called Bigfoot.  The rooms at the cafe & the drawing group concept very interesting/eye catching.  Wanted the script to make cafe magical.  A better ending where all the characters/cafe were made up in FL's head including ML.  Enjoyed all the costumes/outfits.  Recorded 2023 & shelved til 2025 due to payments owed to actors.

--- FL kisses ML last episode w/lips resting on lips..no chemistry.  ML pretty good at sexual tension scenes...kisses FL's eye.  College friends kiss a few times w/one in the storage area that was munchy good.

Ending - Family works out their issues.  FL's friend goes to Germany.  ML becomes serious about his modeling/acting career. FL continues w/Spirit Fingers.  The 2 Spirit Fingers leaders happy devoted couple.

Notes:  Not into it til ep 14 -17.  Chemistry w/leads was okay - good.  ML lovingly teasing FL after he finds out FL is Ming Xian (his tournament rival) was heart fluttering cute, as well as FL w/her mentor/dad.  

--- Leads multiple slight munch kisses that had some emotional connection.  Empress + Dr a kiss or two. Steamy bath scene blush worthy.  FL bites ML 2x neck 1x hand.  Sexual frustration?

Empress & her love interest had weird/odd acting faces.  Cried when 27 died because FL actress's crying is heart wrenching.  Most of the male actors seemed similar in facial structure so I had a hard time telling them apart at first.  ML not my fav - a bit feminine looking & some deadpan acting. FL strong sometimes, childish (Esther Yu like) sometimes.  Leads grew on me by end.  Enjoyed Yu Cheng En's acting as innocent selfless love rival & dark side villain. His bare chest bath scenes were eye candy.  Surprises:  1-ML/FL had their lives switched at birth. 2-ML crown prince of FL's realm & FL a Bo descendant 3--FL's aunt abandoned ML at birth after switch. 4- FL's master is her dad. The coughing up blood scenes excessive. Cinematography was stunning & music was pleasing.

Ending - ML & FL defeat Chao Yuan (he dies), Abyss is removed & all the realm inhabitants get their spirits back.  After many marriages proposal rejects from FL she finally says yes to ML.

Notes:  Romeo/Juliet main theme mature drama.  The slow reveal of details is torture (in a good way).  ML is truly special..his acting is fabulous.  Wasn't sold on FL but she won me over.  The rape scene made me so uncomfortable & the things those boys say make me crave the bloodbath I hope ML in part 2 delivers...eventho I hate gore.  Actress that plays FL's mom soo pretty.  Was in disbelief how ML's mom treated her son.  Thought the focus would be on serial killing, but main focus is the romance of the leads which is the backbone for the killing.  Music seemed to add a little depth to scenes.  Some very pretty cinematography (butterflies, dangling white lights, etc.)

---2 kisses.  Lips on lips, but looked comfortable for actors.

Ending - FL moves away. ML stabs bad boy at concert & goes to jail but not before sabotaging drug leader's election campaign.  Last scene ML follows a black moth & runs into we think FL, who is blind + suffering from amnesia + different name.  Thought Pinyu was FL but what she is seeing is as an alter personality but not being possessed by a ghost.

Notes:  Thought it was going to be a revenge driven plot, but story focused on characters.  The 2 actresses playing the FL looked similar which I appreciated.  ML still the star & the actor who played the politician's son was a standout.  The character that kept squeezing his package was an interesting acting choice. ML killing the kid showed how a good guy starts to slip into bad & how emotionally broken he really was. He knew it & chose death.  FL blaming ML for her stupidity (trying to infiltrate bad guys on her own) seemed unfair to ML...however IRL many people lay blame on someone to make themselves feel better.  FL's BFF I liked a bit more this part due to her eagerness to take down the bad guys.  Surprise:  FL has 3 different personalities..Pin Yu, Chi Chi & Blind girl. 

Ending:  ML is sentenced to death in prison.  He gets a Christmas present from FL & then is executed.  FL becomes a ballet dancer as she promised ML.  She & BFF go to beach after a show.  BFF gives her a letter ML wrote while in jail.  She commits suicide.  ML & FL are together in afterlife decorating Christmas tree (the final promise).

Notes:  Enjoyed FLC & Kanato.  MLC & actor not my fav.  Borring overly cliche drama w/ a few bits a humor gold....glasses fogging up, FL's happy place in her mind in total flames, the devil mask as FL's disguise choice & the sparks Fl saw when encountering idols.  Focus on FL denying her love for cute boy(s) & ML trying to convert her would have been a more compelling storyline, especially w/added humor. Needed more scenes w/Kansto razing FL.   Music wasn't that "special."

Ending - FL deletes ML's contact info from her cellphone.  ML shows up at shrine & confesses his love.  ML invites FL to meet friend's grave.

Notes:  Not a fan of any actors.  Weird facial expressions & villain actor super OTP.  Lacks dialogue. Water scene repeated too many times.  The blackmailing girl co-worker...what an idiot...blackmailing a Yakuza member, not smart. 

--- Manty kisses that lacked chemistry.  1 bed scene slightly steamy...ML not good looking, kinda feminine so hard to feel love scenes were saucy.

Ending - ML chooses not to become new leader & FL stays w/him.  ML's assistant becomes the leader.  FL turns down police guys love confession.  The 2 kidnappers from rival gang thrown in jail.

Notes:  Noona romance that lacked chemistry.  Actors looked very mismatched in looks & age difference.  Story/symbolism was interesting idea, but execution did not translate well.  I missed the buildup of love between the leads & the push/pull dynamics of being from different worlds.  FL pressuring ML to improve himself came off as selfish to me & a bit stalkerish.  Her over honestness was different.  ML prancing about made him seem gay or immature or ADHD?  Actors face bothered me...cosmetic surgery face? FL's dad a huge misogynist that just suddenly changed from his wife & daughter calling him out on his shit...not sure I buy it.  Host club customer the female misogynist side. Dad locked FL in her room at age 35...so not cool.  ML's mom doating on younger sibling & using ML as a cash cow pissed me off, so glad ML disowned her but felt bad for 1/2 bro who loves his older bro dearly.  FL & her BF great friendship dynamic.  Friend tells FL she is a creepy lurker when she waits outside workplace for friend to finish up.  Soo funny. Friend supports FL even when FL chooses host.  Frustrated that ML's dad not revealed...story hints that club owner is ML's dad. Music was okay.

--- A couple of kisses.  The beach one that tried to imitate munching looked sooo cringy.

Ending - Cut short by 1 episode due to actors health/schedules.  ML dumps FL after failing to get into hair dressing school.  They meet up at beach/reconcile.

Notes:  ML cool guy irked face most of drama.  FL too clingy w/ML who treated her like poop.  Loved ML2.  ML2 hilarious talking to himself & liking FL as a boy.  Liked him for FL.  Comedy a bit too OTP/cheesy.  Lots of gay references & cross dressing. Lots of shirts off scenes, but pre-puberty body types so a bit cringe.  Dr actor had blue eyes that were scary looking...contacts?

---ML kisses several people...FL 2x, ML2, & rival high jumper due to drunkenness.  Last 1 @ airport w/FL. All just pressed lips on lips.

Ending - FL returns to USA, CA.  Newspaper sent via arrow to FL saying graduation class trip will be to CA...to see FL.

Notes:  D.O. cute personality. Not much of a story.  FL interesting...face has an older look/1920's vibe.  ML shows his abs to BFF but not audience...awww shucks.

Notes:  Acting was really good w/both ML's, but not my fav D.O. role.  ML actor who normally makes me cringe was not cringy & made the character kinda intersting.  The movie was very lackluster. As ML leaves the city he pulls over to cry...for himself, for the kid that died, for stress relief?  It seemed very genuine, but then he stops as if he is fine.

Ending - ML sells the DVD rental place for less than he paid.  Was a stand up guy by paying employee what he promised.  Part timer tosses drugs into the river, so not taking the offer to share profits from sale...probably good idea since everyone associated w/it died or goes to jail.  As credits role new owner doing an new opening event.

Notes:   FL's voice pretty.  FL character very likable - strong, loyal, friendly.  Liked Both ML's for FL. Both fell for her organically.  Loved that ML2 even though was a huge star he was grounded.  Like the surprise that FL met ML2 at hospital (she a leukemia patient & him a music volunteer).  Side characters/acting a bit OTP, but likable.  ML was so believable as a girl sometimes.  A few songs throughout which were good, not great.

Ending - ML returns to his/FL's school as himself after a brief bit of downtime.  ML passes his dance audition to become a debut idol.  Fan clubs banned together to take action against swarmy paparazzi.

Plot:   [Dubbed]  At start ML shoots himself in head.  FL is ghost & can't stop him, but she travels back in time to get revenge on fiancée/sister/dad that killed her.

Notes:  Dubbing was odd.  Used an English accent for FL.  Synopsis uses reborn & devil, but I think these are translation issues. ML is not the devil & FL travels back to the day she proposes to fiancée.  ML toxic obsession w/FL is not cute.  He locks her up, chains her, etc.  ML asks Dr to cure FL's menstrual pain.  Dr says If I could do that, I would have already won the Nobel Prize.

Ending - FL sets up fiancé to stab her so he goes to jail as well as her dad + sister.  Dad killed FL's mom.

Notes:  Subtitles not the best/too fast.  Actors not my fav.  The story had promise w/girl who could see how much people liked her, but it ended up being boring story about FL's uncle trying to take over FL's father's company.  The love/hate relationship w/leads didn't translate well.

Ending - ML tell's driver to take him & FL to Civil Affairs bureau for marriage license,  FL's ex stabs FL's uncle in chest w/knife, & gets arrested.

Notes:   Educational/real life depiction of thoughts/fears planning for final years of life.  Messages of communication about needing to plan for wills, healthcare, assisted living etc. & poking at females choosing careers over family.  The huge lips masks on men surrounding FL made me feel uncomfortable...felt like a metaphor for a gang rape.  FL too selfish/annoying.  ML at times had very scary psycho look & cute puppy dog look.  Not sure what to think about their chemistry. Not sure if they even felt love.  The white cat asleep on ML's lap melted me...plus all his other scenes (in a clear bowl, chasing a string etc.)  Grandmom the rapper/hip hop dancer a total cringe fest.

Ending -  FL & ML become BF/GF for about 2 days & then she dumps him in favor of her love for being independent.

Plot:   ML pretends to be disabled in a wheelchair to disarm his psycho mom from thinking he is a threat.  Mom favors her older son.  FL in need of $ takes odd jobs requiring seduction. ML also has a hidden identity as a successful ruthless businessman.  ML trying to find his father's ashes.  ML's mom killed FL's parents.

Notes:   ML's acting as 2 characters was very alluring. His face as he changed from weak son to revered scary boss was A+ skill.  The chemistry w/leads was sizzling.  FL strong & protects ML.  So refreshing.  

Ending - ML reveals his strong identity & takes down his family.

Notes:   Music was good not great & lots of it...no English translations so my enjoyment lessened.  Either missed or needed more back story why ML takes on FL's music dream. Popular manga so a lot left out due to writers assuming viewers familiarity w/story?  FL wasn't my fav.  Her clothing style too casual.. especially for a festival & I didn't feel her need for music, she relied on everyone else to make her a star.   Glad no romance in it.  What a hot villain in his black tight biker shorts w/ a fur jacket.  The girl spy & Irimote as a mean good person were interesting.  Maria Diesel gave me trans male vibes.  ML gave me Snoop Dog vibes & villain gave me Dawayne the rock Johnson vibes. Liked that the war strategies although seemingly bad were made to benefit both parties. ML reincarnates from ancient times, but what was the meeting at the tori gate?  ML moving on to heaven?  Humor made me smile, but not chuckle or laugh out loud.

Ending - Kongming stays.  FL is a hit at festival.  Rapper exposes villain as stealing songs & making them his own.

Notes:   Bromance cute w/ML2 yelling Bomie.  First half had fun humor, but 2nd half felt like a carbon copy of another drama I watched...not sure which one.  FL was strong/fun but morphed into weak crybaby & her look didn't make me feel like she fit the role.  The fantasy element was poorly executed even though I loved the little boy.  Missed opportunity for him to toy w/FL. Loved ML's naughty talk to FL.  Why dad's request for brothers to wed 1st not executed...total missed opportunity.  ML's acting is so mesmerizing to me...enjoyed it.

---Multiple kisses some pressed lips others w/munching that was meh.  2 bed scenes that made me jealous of FL.  ML w/his shirt off hot.

Ending - King saved. Traitors let go & prince exiled.  ML & FL married w/6 kids working on 12.  Confused about novel FL.  She was arrested but we see her at orphanage w/no memories of past being taught to write her name by ML's BF who had a crush on her.  How did this occur? (novel story amended?)

Notes:   Bromance stronger than the romance.  Interesting - Na In Woo speaks Japanese whole drama & was super charming, but he awkwardly felt like a 3rd wheel.  Also, his acting was soo good that leads felt bad.  FL emotionless so disliked her acting a lot.  2nd couple a bit on the creepy side - age difference.  ML2 didn't seem that serious about FL/very weak story arc.  Disappointed that the animals they chose didn't make me go awwww.

--- Leads 2 kisses. 1st kiss -FL grabs ML's face & sets her lips on his.  2nd couple - same lips barely resting on each other's lips.

Ending - FL turns down ML2's offer to partner w/him in Tokyo.  The leads run to each other.

Notes:  Nothing new, nothing better than average. 2 key surprises: 1.Revenge wasn't only FL's ex, but ML on FL for not accepting his confession in HS. (Lame/weak revenge reason) 2.Hired breakup guy turned out to beML's abandoned 1/2 bro.  Hated ML's mom -a selfish snob forcing ML to marry up even tho she is former snack hostess. FL's mom too aggressive w/her beliefs pushing onto FL.  FL annoying - just stands still as suppM hugs her.  Liked that leads talk on bench to clear up past misunderstandings, brothers talk & ML's stepdad calls wife out on her shit/corrects her ass. Same Japanese bad habit - sporadic dialogue.  Enjoyed theme music.

---3 meh lips on lips kisses & 1 bed scene (felt out of place).

Ending - FL & ML walk on the beach as a happy couple not feeling the pressure to marry even if 12 years have passed.

Notes:  Very strong realistic sex scenes scattered thru out.  None w/old men.  Thank Goodness. ML good body. IRL gay? The final scene is GL staring into the camera too long in my opinion, which came across as creepy. Limited dialogue.

Ending - FL experiences love. but ML is a cheater & he ends up choosing his GF over FL.  ML's break-up motives were unclear. It seemed like he loved FL so we have to reconcile this in our own minds.  1. Reality is like that - no real reason 2. FL not the one - FL lacks what ML's GF has 3. ML scared to challenge status quo.

Notes:   Complicated-excessive plots & killers.  Too long. Slight romance. Gore tolerable. Chemistry underwhelming due to FL.  ML had stronger connection w/ex & FL w/sweet rich insurance co boy.  Yet again actress's demeanor supported by her past but made FL kinda unlikable.  ML character mostly a jerk.  Key surprises:  

1.Reaper is Joon  
2.Moo Kang's body has older bro Joon in it.  
3.  Loser is in Leo's body.  
4.Joon's step mom kills/steals Joon's heart for Moo Kang.  
5.Clara is a trans female  
6.Insurance older bro did not kill grandpa.  
7.FL was the one who shot Joon when kids to save her dad.  
8.GL's dad was reaper 444 then Joon replaced him when dad became husband
9.FL 1/2 reaper due to former 444 reaper looking into FL's mom's eyes.  
10.FL's mom knew husband a reaper.  
11.  Leo is Presidential candidate's son
12.  Joon could have been saved / another donor became ready for Moo Kang 

Loved the bulldog & Shrek matching costumes. Dog being killed by golf clubs & Leo's overdose yikes. Stand out actors:  ML, crazy dog detective, Chinese serial killer & sweet insurance co younger son. Old Leo/Ha Ram poorly executed.

---1 slide by kiss & 1 FL initiated kiss. Kiss barely touching lips after she tippy toes/grabs ML's face so didn't look good.  (reminded me of The Haunted Palace lead's cringy kiss)

Enduring - ML chooses to erase himself (from human world) after getting reaper to protect her during her new edited life without ML.  FL's parents saved so she grows up normal (no death vision/no reaper dad). Final scene old Leo tells Ha Ram reaper story & gives her Joon's bracelet. Ha Ram dies & reunites w/Joon who looks like Moo Kang. FL married Oh Man Soo? (I hope so!) FL's memories bring ML back?...if she remembers him, he had to of existed.

Notes:   Both ML's acting was very engaging.  ML pulled off scene of 2 characters in 1 body talking to each other well. Acting as 2 different people (the Imugi & the dead royal official) was achieved, barely.  Bromance of King/ML enjoyable. FL's face very expressionless/too serious, but her character's back story made that seem appropriate.  Blind shaman arrogant smiling made me want to punch the slot out of him. His end wasn't satisfying enough for me. Leads Chemistry good from ML, but very meh from FL. The enemies to lovers story arc done well.  Wished for better actors & scenes for preg queen & Imugi's brother.  Appreciated the focus on fantasy not politics.  Horror was tolerable. My stomach was queasy when toxic water spirit regurgitated black water. Glasses too modern?  Theme music was modern which surprisingly fit the drama well.  

--- A couple of kisses?  ML initiated ones were okay.  1 initiated by FL cringy bad - looks like FL is trying not to touch his lips with all her might.

More than 3 days pass & FL + ML's mom put his body in coffin.  Imugi returns to ML's body. Final scenes leads are married w/little girl.  Little girl actress is amazing. I love her.

Hetero & Homo leads relationships too sappy/G-rated.  2 actors playing FL never felt like same person, & male version was cringy.  Penis fish dance was not funny.  Scenes: Light saber protection, bunny w/boom box meditation, bow head piece, FL drinks water in a tight white half shirt, funny/cute. 2 other couples stories not that endearing. Liked that many characters supported the pseudo gay relationship.  Heterosexual man asked to accept a male version of his GF not realistic, but more of an unrealistic perfect ideal....like worldwide peace. Frustrated that mom not forthright w/daughter, that conversion had no trigger, & comedy was a missed opportunity.

Notes:   Heavy - Depression, sexual assault, pedophilia, unempathetic characters etc made it feel like a huge weight.  Writing was very skillfully done.  Story told from total confusion to full story cleared up just like FL's journey to mental healthiness.  Teacher/FL SA scene haunting especially w/music lyric choice.  Pervert teacher's wife was sooo evil.  Can't fathom someone not protecting a child & even verbally attacking child for your husband's criminal behavior.  Tiffany very good acting.  The brother's emotions didn't make sense, needed more support?

Ending - FL finds peace & is working on her mental health w/her boyfriend that loves her dearly. Glad other victim helped get sim card & divorce jerk. Not happy FL reconciled w/rich jealous friend other friend had better morals so okay w/her.

Ending - Happy but felt tragic would have been better.  ML stabbed after briefly leaving hospital & collapses in empty park.  Then scenes of ML as small-town Dr w/face blindness.  FL is shadowing him & he gives her the couple rings he purchased when she had amnesia.  FL2 out of jail & waits for director outside the prison.  Lawyer intercedes telling her to let him go.

Notes:   Acessive food scenes, but still enjoyable.  Liked most of the actors/characters, especially leads.  Leads acting was fun to watch.  Bickering of leads was fantastic, but sadly not used enough.  FL2 no love story arc w/ML felt odd.  Missed opportunity for love triangle w/female chef, her fellow chef & the jester guy.  King w/ shirt open was hot & he reminded me of Cha Eun Woo.  ML's smile soooo cute.

Ending - Jester kills FL2, avenging his sister's death.  ML2, evil uncle kills grandma.  ML kills his tyrant uncle after tyrant uncle kills FL.  FL is transferred into book & she returns to her 2025 body that was in a coma.  FL wakes up & tries to get to ML but can't.  FL ends up working at restaurant w/all her Joseon staff doppelgangers/descendants?  A few months later ML travels from past to present.

My preference was SuppM1, bad boy from rival band (Prism) because they challenge each other in a good way.  ML2, her very good childhood friend was outspoken about his love.  FL chooses ML, her step-bro by mom's marriage when FL in HS.  ML is mean to her & seems a bit selfish/egotistical/horny, but he was her choice so I am swayed by her.  Music meh especially for a music drama & they just kept practicing onlythe 1 song.  Both bands fictional.

Disliked FL's sister immensely (angry & selfish).  FL's dad & niece almost useless characters.  Cute animal sweatshirts on heavyset apt mgr fun. Good:  Go Hyun Jung Amazing acting! Cho Seong Ha surprised me...liked him.  Not listed in MDL - Lee Chang Min as Park Min Jae.  Interesting was the comparison of the 3 boys who grew up in same toxic type environment & ended up w/different future life paths. FL's make-up, she looked like a prisoner.

Ending - Hint ending - Serial killer mom goes back to jail & she has an xmas pic of son & family. Son & female detective visit FL in prison as news of police team leader's murder is broadcast on a TV there. Season 2?

ML 2 went from playboy douchebag to green flag guru.  Loved that.  The traitor female co-worker looks like Meghan Markle & ML reminded me of Aaron Yan.  The fashion looked outdated/lower quality to me.  Seemed like every 10 min FL had on a new outfit.  Don't remember music.

Her eyes very expressive/pretty & her hair shaped as cat ears was interesting/pretty.  FL character a playboy type/dominant & ML submissive.  NAF of white snake demon character/actress, bad personality.  Many of the side characters were lackluster.  Liked the happy fool.  Soo glad they used a real cat for shape shifting scenes.  Book demon continuing to pursue FL after she married ML a bit unnerving.  ML & FL marry without telling each other their secrets. Found that odd, kept anticipating breakup story arc.  Surprises:  1. ML's dad was the previous cat lord  & transferred his power to FL.  2. ML was supposed to be original recipient of infant demon core not FL. Their lanterns got switched by accident.   Not a surprise ML is a demon. I knew something was up, he was powerful. Cinematography was very beautiful. Music was enjoyable, sounded like classic fantasy drama songs.  CGI iffy... demon world reminded me of a Star Wars Cafe (hokie costumes)

Ending - Rat demon kills black snake.  Book demon commits suicide in front of FL. Infant demon is reborn into ML, but FL plunges a stone rod into ML's body (heart/core) killing him/evil demon.  Happy fool comes to the realization his fiancée died 10 years ago & white snake is a different woman living in his fiancée's body.  

After credits:  ML wakes up w/cat eyes.  FL pregnant but ML carried baby 7 mos via switching dolls.  Happy fool meets reborn black snake who is a boy w/no prior memories of previous life.

Notes:  Mostly boring. A few tidbits of chuckle moments (when ML/FL/ML's sister/ML's Sister's boyfriend have word of prayer meeting & FL shouting I am your murder & you are my victim to BFF's brother).  Brother sister relationship very heartwarming to see.  2nd & 3rd couple story arcs interesting.  ML's sister + ML's teammate my fav. Fei Qi Ming reminded me of Ron Weasly from Harry Potter series....maybe a cousin...hehehe.  Leads chemistry was meah.  ML just too even keeled for me (eg. when FL bites him on the neck he has very little reaction).  FL was not annoying...but I found her to be interesting.

Notes:  Very well written & acted.  Not enough angst w/leads for me.  Wanted a stronger love/hate/disappointment story arc. (FL being left out in rain, ML grabbing FL's throat was on the right path).  Saw recommendations on MDL so maybe had too high expectations?  Story arc scenes focused more on distrust. Enjoyed the small bits of humor peppered in.  Chemistry w/leads was good.  Started to drag around episode 17.  Slept through ep 25-30 & didn't want to go back.  Enjoyed Wei Liang character/actor a lot.  FL very pretty.  ML good looking but not hot which highlighted his acting skills.  Loved his expression when he pulled the curtain back to see FL for 1st time & him puffing up in front of his generals when FL praises him to her cousin.  Stable hand & cousin seemed mismatched...couldn't connect to their relationship.  ML, ML's mom, ML's cousin all experienced character growth. Exceptional writing shown = ML experiences same war issue FL's clan did & sees how the decision of protecting people vs honoring a pact promise was not an easy or clear cut one.  Cinematography was very pretty.  Music was okay but it did not elevate the drama.

---1st kiss = FL's cousin kisses stable hand.  Leads don't kiss till bout ep 29.  Realistic reciprocating munching for a moderate amount of time. 2 fav scenes - FL wrapped around ML's torso as he takes her to the bed & ML telling FL he wants a kid. The 1 year wait/build up smart choice by writers.

Ending - FL's cousin jumps off balcony to escape hostage situation / giving her husband freedom since she is his Achillies heel.  Su clan female villain commits suicide.  ML & stable hand kill greedy/evil young lord. Young lord kills Wei liang, both canal supervisors, FL's evil uncle, and many more.  ML's cousin becomes a stand-up guy & the leader of Bian.  Canal project finished & peace among all territories achieved.

Notes:  Watched season 2 & 3 together so seemed like 1 season.  Enjoyable acting & story from all the leads.   Wasn't a fan of the final group...they were all characters w/no story arcs plus just thugs.  The non-Korean VIPs terrible acting....Is this on purpose ?  Not sure how I feel about a baby as part of a horror game/story arc.  The boat captain never had me fooled, always felt he was bad. Totally unsatisfied w/ending except for #011 & the dad she saved. Liked that writers kept Red light Green Light & then changed all the other games.  Still a lot of gore, but story so strong that it fits in. Felt like this season was better than season 1.

Ending - Island is blown up right before Coast Guard arrive.  Scene showing a new rep recruiting in America.  The baby wins, villain escapes w/baby but villain gives baby to his detective brother.  Villain also gives prior year winner's track suit to his daughter.  Loan shark buys hotel prior winner lived in/owned.  All contestants die but baby & the dad w/cancer child who North Korean agent saved.

Has Gong Yoo had face work done?

Notes:  Cinematography STUNNING (tall ice flowers, moonlight dance w/lit globes, bridge in front of tall waterfall).  Costumes beautiful.  Story not well executed/all over the place, too complicated.  Multiple love triangles, realms, sects, comas, amnesia bouts & villains that were confusing due to lack of proper transitioning. Too many characters, some looked too close to others so hard to identify. Fell asleep for some of it & did not want to go back.  No chemistry w/leads. FL looked/felt like a wooden stick.  ML very handsome & acting was okay.   All the female characters ragging bitches.  Scene w/ML wearing a mask made no sense....everyone there knew it was him...what a joke.   Romance w/ Du Shao Yang & Tang Si Qi more interesting than main. OST very good too. People familiar w/source material easier time understanding?  Seems like w/right cast & screen writer this could have been good?

Ending:  Cliffhanger- Qin Lie?  GMu awakened.  GMu killed FL but knows he can revive her. GMu along w/his artifacts (4 guys) lined up in front of portal ready to take on the main villain.  No plans for a sequel at this time.

Ending - ML gets corporate job.  Pays back loan shark total debt and cute surprise... a little extra so the loan shark owes him $, so their relationship continues...because ML refuses to be paid back. ML's good friend gets accepted to college & leaves the apt.

Notes:  Had to read comments to understand the movie.  ML character has a doppelganger, a famous magician. who was engaged to FL but dies. FL in order to cope with grief creates herself as Yuri to date ML but reverts back to Aya.  Aya's Aunt tells ML Yuri died, but ML finds out Aya & Yuri are really the same person.  ML loves FL so much he pretends to be the magician & even gives Aya evidence of Yuri's existence which she has no recollection of & causes her to go nuts. Confused how long-ago magician knew ML, and did he commit suicide so FL would always love him or was he giving her to ML?  The scene of ML finding magician in water was chilling.  Loved the writing in steam on train transferring to car, but due to poor story execution the chemistry was lost on me. The magic of baby chicks, cute. ML w/a mustache soo odd looking. Very creative idea!  American music was very enjoyable.

Ending - ML is removed from the island & is taking a bus to his last job location.  FL in a panic to lose him fights her agoraphobia to chase down the bus to meet him.

Loved ML's dad character w/his jab type humor + ML's banter w/him.   Loved the balloon release & naughty taro card scenes.  Story complicated.  Got the ghost or not a present-day person vibes right away from the FL, so no surprise there.  Music was very enjoyable & elevated the story.  Totally want to see other versions.

Ending - Up to interpretation.  I think FL came to future, died in present day school demolition & visited ML as a ghost?  ML went to demolition site to play piano to take him back to FL in past to save her in the future & to be with her.  FL's mom said she disappeared for 20 years.  Father sees note in book from FL to his son & starts to run after him to save him.  OG version shows ML in class pic w/FL so he did not die just time traveled.  Not sure why ML couldn't see FL sometimes even though she was next to him.

Ending - Surprise psychiatrist is Goo Yoo not Go Joon. (not believable in my book due to psychiatrist personality, physical features were like Go Joon. Why would Go Yoo's personality change so drastically?).  Kinda thought that might be the case.  Go Joon disappears for 17 years.  Where was he & why leave a friend who gave you his kidney?  Maybe....[1]  stop a relationship from imploding due to a girl (they already trew down at school). [2] deal w/grief of losing whole family [3] Deal w/health issues & help ML move on (I thought Go Joon was going to die at end).  FL ends up w/ Goo Yoo.  Heartwarming scene:  Goo Yoo let's go of GF's hand to hug Goo Joon who he hasn't seen in 17 years.

I think the intention of drama was to be OTP.  FL's boss good or bad or just morally gray?

Impressed with ML actor's skill at switching characters between possessed ghost & cursed student.  FL sometimes annoying, but mostly cute.  Did not like villain shaman or actress that played her.  Mad that she lived & the mom died.  Why protect someone so irredeemable?  ML2 (FL's BF) confesses his love, but he is never a real rival.  Story felt disjointed & all over the place which caused the surprise ending to lose its impact.  Why was shaman so evil? Why did she have a friend who kept being her friend? Fire ghost in shed at school & ML's past w/that girl?  Loved Boki the ghost dog. The scene boy holds up pic of Boki on his phone to girl in pigtails.  The bromance story arcs were enjoyable.  ML w/his shirt off getting painted was hot.

Vilain shaman no longer has ghost coffin on her back & she refuses to give ML her real name as she walks away.  Ghost moves on & ML saved + he can't see ghosts anymore.

Leads had very good chemistry, their banter was enjoyable.  When ML stared at FL my heart melted.  Humor was sporadic but I smiled when it came up & I cried ep. 36 on (Mofang's death/etc).  Loved the white lion playing w/the ball, the rabbit lantern, large pouch. Mofang my fav character & actor.  The naughty fiancee, FL's excitable maid, the heavenly emperor's eyebrows, & the spoiled granddaughter great additions.  FL as always very believable fighting skills. Wanted a stronger struggle arc for ML as he debated love vs duty.  Surprises:  1] Mofang is the mole 2] Mofang knew FL since they were kids/she saved him 3] Mofang is head villain's son 4] ML is an ancient god 5] FL is daughter of phoenix demon in abyss & he is still alive. 6] Head villain is FL's mom's + aunt's master. Could ML read FL's thoughts when she was a bird?  Novel = No but Drama maybe? Loved theme song.

We learn that the other ancient gods use their remaining power to save him.  FF 3 ys leads are living in mortal world home base.  ML asks FL to marry him.  FL says better be quick because she is pregnant.

Notes:  A lot of music not enough plot.  FL too young for ML.  Satoh Takeru's acting as a troubled music genius was phenomenal.   ML's love rival for FL story arc too weak.  When ML's brother kidnaps FL that made me interested in having him be the rival (writers chose to make ML's bro gay) or more scenes w/FL getting closer to keyboardist.  I think writers wanted to show there is positivity in music industry too.  ML's brother saves a fan that has been to all his concerts, the brothers reconciling, band shows up 2X to sing for fans etc.  The music was good & enjoyed the voices.  Actors took a year to yearn instruments.

Notes:  Basically same story w/details changed & no chemistry.  I preferred the Korean version.  Wasn't a fan of ML, he just seemed too terse/cold.  FL was cute but lost that cuteness when she gave herself a makeover to the career woman look.  FL was soft & friendly even after being betrayed/killed...that's not realistic. The psycho friend actress was convincing just like Korean version actress, but in a Japanese way.  The husband a bigger idiot, but Korean version he's evil.  Friend kills FL this version whereas husband kills FL in Korean version.  ML in his 1st life (as a stranger who likes FL from afar) kidnaps FL's ashes from her funeral...another weird head scratching scene.  FL finding out rule of replacement, but fate still fate stronger this version. Turtle & Crane origami very heartwarming...references an old Korean tale of friendship. Liked the turtle.  Music was very enjoyable/went well with drama. A collaboration (Korean studio/Director JP-Screenwriter/cast/location).

Ending - ML stabbed & in coma briefly.  FL & psycho friend on ferris wheel.  FL saves psycho, but psycho jumps to her death leaving FL w/that burden/image.  FF 10 years - FL quits her job to reopen restaurant.  ML & FL on mountain overlooking gorgeous snow-covered mountains w/a lake at the base.  FL asks ML to marry her just as he was reaching for an engagement ring box on the anniversary day of her death. ML's sister confesses to chef, but chef is leaving for France for 5 yrs.

Notes:  A Lot of fight scenes & too long.  Actors acted out fight choreography very proficiently.  Hugely disliked FL.  Not sure if actress or character?  FL was a total bitch w/no personality.  Park Bo Gum stereotype puppy character seemed misplaced in this crime drama.  Park Bo Gum acting was good, especially when he gets drugged.  Had shivers down my spine when he was injected. ML3 as a love rival too weak of a story arc.  The older captain who wrestled was an odd choice. Mesmerized by the round coffee table aquarium, Leo's black fur neck lined coat, comb over haired guy & Drugmon/Leo couple dynamics. Would have gone a different direction...lots of humor & multiple cases. Music was pretty good. 

---FL pulls ML down by his tie to kiss him.  Approx 3 kisses.  ML aggressively munching on her lips & she isn't responding, jn like kind (flat facing it).  Feels awkward & I felt bad for Park Bo Gum, wanted a better partner for him.

Ending - All officers get medals for taking down corruption.  FL finds out Leo not her dad's killer Min Ju was.  Leo finds out MinJu killed his dad& lied saying Oh Dollar + FL's dad involved.  ML's friend's mom becomes his mom.  Captain's wife pregnant w/his kid (faulty vasectomy).  Bloopers as credit roles.

Realistic journey of female mindset at different points in her life.  Enjoyed the real life footages of the different Japanese neighborhoods & night skylines.  FL character struck me as a self-absorbed brat.  Liked her briefly when she first arrived in Tokyo & had a cheery attitude.  As a schoolgirl she was insufferable.  Wasn't emotionally invested in who she ended up w/.  Portrayal of husband who lied to himself about not wanting a traditional wife (sewer/cooker/homemaker) was so spot on.  Interesting that divorce rates fueled by this thought process globally.

Notes:  ML hot & FL not so they seemed mismatched + no chemistry.  FL's friend looked good w/him especially as she took him out -n-about. Unfortunately, she tried to seduce the humanoid which seemed sleazy. Story could have made ML fall for FL's BFF, they had more chemistry.  Disappointed there was no budget for glowing eyes for ML.  The baby at the end was so creepy/ugly.  Curious about neighbor boy w/his PCH.  If humanoid companions ever become a reality...people choosing to settle down w/ a humanoid is okay w/me. 

---3 or 4 kisses.  Mouth resting on mouth.  FL kissed ML first & pounced on him. 1 brief see nothing sex scene.

Ending - Humanoid company took baby & gave FL a new humanoid robot same face/model as old one or the old one with his info wiped?  She was used as a lab rat for humanoid reproduction, but she accepted the new PCH (Personal Care Humanoid) w/a defeated look in the lab center.  A sequel is needed.

Notes:  Kept falling asleep & rarely felt like rewinding, pretty boring.  FL acting was good, but I expected the twins to be more different.  I struggled to see them as 2 different people.  Story arcs to repetitive: depression, parental abandonment & grandparent death trauma.  ML2 actor who I am not a fan of his acting was enjoyable to watch.  No chemistry between FL & either ML.  Depression story arc felt so real.  Sexual assault angle a bit surprising.  ML not being able to tell which twin was which after spending so much time w/Twins is absurd, luckily writers never made him fully commit to believing the switch. Writers also did good job having unskilled twin doing non educated jobs & her asking for help when skills were needed.  Brother of female ex-coworker victim & ML's mom not his biological mom were a surprise.  Did not cry even w/heartwarming & sad scenes.  Music was pretty good.

Ending - ML's hearing getting worse so dumps FL & gets back w/her all in the same last episode.  Twin 1 - goes back to school to become a psychologist.  Twin 2 takes over the strawberry farm.  ML2 goes to US to get back into business, but returns to farm after a year. ML hides engagement ring in pajama drawer.

Notes:  Kept falling asleep & rarely felt like rewinding.  Totally boring except 2nd couple.  Kim Go Eun fabulous acting.  ML seemed autistic/clueless w/random bouts of hot sexy /intelligent/strong vibes popping up occasionally which was kinda interesting.  FL unlikable, treated ML badly; kept ex-boyfriend info from him, constantly trying to undermine him, yelled at him a lot. Leads lacked chemistry, but 2nd couple had lots. Bickering/banter not amusing.  Fav scene 2nd couple get in the mood while watching lovely runner.  2nd fav scene ML in disguise at cooking contest.  ML2/his ex-wife story arc totally useless.  FL didn't seem over her ex & treated him better than ML.  All the office staff seemed like actors in an acting class, just filler/no substance.  

---FL kisses ML 1st; drunk FL grabs ML's face in back of her truck.  A couple of peck kisses & 2 close to the end that had good munching mostly on ML's side.  2nd couple have a few kisses.

Ending - ML2 & his ex let go of each other & ML2 quits Wohan.  ML also quits Wohan & works at the USB Guesthouse as a rental agent.

Notes:  Liked 2 of the 3 romance stories.  Noona romance felt icky.  Actors have 15-year age difference. FL noona character was a bitch so did not like her.  Zealous outspoken girl chasing after deaf guy was refreshing & she even kissed him first.  Loved Kang ha neul's acting.  Chemistry & banter w/stewardess + chef was super fun to watch. Loved stewardess's neck caught in tambourine & her hiking poses for her profile.   Wasn't a fan of Yoo Ah In's acting in this but seeing him as a dad melted my heart.

--- All 3 couples kissed & well.  Deaf guy + GF mouth on mouth.  Actor + producer munchy make-out.  Chef + stewardess light gentle pensive munching.

Ending - Actor & producer together playing w/kid.  Producer finally told actor kid was his.  Stewardess & Chef together.  Zealous girl & deaf guy together.

Notes:  Very fragmented at start & mostly cleared up by end.  Same universe as Moving & has a few character ties.  Well written.  Horror to start that subsides as stories progress.  Suicidal GF actress acting amazed me, Bus driver actor's acting pleasantly surprised me, Park Bo Young did not disappoint.  Appreciated the guess who is dead & who is not.  Most of the surprises I had guessed/no surprise.  The bus accident, the mom as shop owner's daughter, somewhat guilty bus driver, lesbian couple, bus stop girl dead & schoolgirl shop visitor in coma.  Wasn't a fan of GL age difference.  Mom telling daughter to return to life super sad & only scene that made me cry.  The  mom who texted deaf girlfriend that her son died because of her should go straight to hell.  

Ending - 

Mom reveals herself to shop owner as his daughter who he has been waiting for.  Shop owner gives his granddaughter's light bulb to daughter to send HS girl back to life.  HS daughter not happy & meets dead girl at school.  Dead girl seems like a vengeful ghost. HS daughter's friends all dead kids including miscarried cop kid.

Younger lesbian breaks her bulb in shop & returns to her lover to stay in afterlife.

Bus driver returns basketball loving HS boy to light shop & stays in afterlife.

Suicidal GF wills her boyfriend back to life & then haunts him due 1-can't let go of love/regretful 2-angry at whole situation.  BF is basically going insane.  He does not remember GF.  1- Suicide sin in Eastern culture so memories get wiped as consequence. 2- Loss to tragic for BF to handle so amnesia to cope? 3- brain damage from accident?

Cop returned to life & given new responsibilities to hunt down vengeful ghosts. His wife?

Season 2 will most likely happen.  If they tie to Moving then watching Moving will become necessary.

Notes:  Independent stories but connected by same universe/time & randomness.  Acting & emotions on all were spot on.

The Reality Show - FL ends up w/barista guy & guy on show ends up w/gay guy in story 5, dodgeball guy.

The Night in Question - To me hearing impaired ML was an award performance.  He & parlor masseuse/her kid have happy ending.

The Color of You - FL pretending to be blind did this well. ML telling FL she was hearing the TV was disturbing.  They have hopeful ending as they are collaborating on streaming..

From Beyond the Stars - watched 2x because a bit complicated.  Would love to see a remake into a series w/ even more corkiness. FL & ML in a relationship.  ML diagnosed w/illness & dumps FL.  FL gets into car accident & loses 10 years in a coma/her memories.  Ending not super cler on Alien's ending.  FL copes by saying she time traveled & ML by saying he is an Alien.

The Perfect Dodgeball Game - BL. 1 steamy scene w/vivid vomiting.  Straight guy is either closet gay or worried another man is attracted to him.  On plane he tells ML from story 7 "I already like someone"

Something Old - boring story but good message.  Not all relationships work out.

The Promise of Karuizawa - Infidelity. Steamy scenes w/2 couples.

Head of Family - Loved the Green Flag dad, the healthy relationship & the role reversal message. Oh that grandmom.

The Ghost in My Heart - GL but FL chose to marry male classmate 1st.  Him stealing her from her girlfriend was interesting.

Based on True Events - Bothersome noona romance w/ a steamy scene.  ML actor 27 & FL actress 50.

Notes:  Story felt interesting/fresh but stories were all over the place/lack cohesion.  Missing children, Prince wants to be a deity, romance of brother sister, & father's ex getting revenge.  FL's acting surprised me in a good way.  Lee Jae Wook (ML) & Kim Jae Wook's (Painter Prince) acting noticeably good.  Jung Ga Ram (ML2) acting underwhelming.  Chemistry good not great except cave scene (hot).  Snow Man & In-hoe's story missing why? The Prince as the painter no surprise. The deity pursuit, ML is a talisman angle & ML is dying soon were.  Thought that story arc should have been more developed.  Brother/sister romance not executed well/kinda weird.  Fighting was interesting but the filming of it wasn't good which caused a continuity imbalance. The cinematography images were stunning, costumes were well done & the music was phenomenal.

--- ML kisses FL 2x in a lips resting on lips way. Then the cave scene w/hot munching kisses. Then abandoned house munching kisses.  Then 1 or 2 single kisses mouth on mouth.  

Ending:  Sad.  ML2 died protecting FL. ML died from complications from talisman process. ML kills painter & the Snow Man.  In-hoe dies in ML's arms after being taken by painter.  The father is shot in the head by his ex.  MDL comment about Netflix trimming down content to fit 11 episodes.  This would explain some of the story issues.  FL stays at home & turns it into an orphanage.

Notes:  Humor very good first half, but second half not that funny seemed more forced.  Female leads looked like sisters.  Freeloading. ungrateful, smart-ass sister rubbed me the wrong way the whole drama.  Why was Na Ra supporting that whole family when sister's husband & her sister work?   Seo Hyun Chul's acting was really riveting.  Grandpa constantly messing things up irked me.  Wanted more of the cousins / school story arc.  I wanted her to choose Song Gang, he liked just her from the start, not like his cousin who was dating the popular classmate girl.  It looked like she was into Seo Yeong Hun.  Cha Bin scenes cringe...Noh Min Woo comes off as gay..playing a straight guy doesn't work for him.

Ending -  Ambiguous.  Grandpa's wife pregnant?  Both HS boy cousins confess to Ko Won Hee, but writers left her thoughts/decision untold.  Seo I Na gets together w/stiff male co-worker?

Notes:  Food focused w/a little romance.  Kang Ha Neul knocked it out of the park, but FL just gave deadpan face.  Monk background gave that look/attitude some credence, however it did seem like she did not like ML the whole drama.  FL actress has eyes like Park Ji Hoon - who happened to have a guest role in this drama.  She needed to smile more.  Yoo Soo Bin still a fav of mine no matter how many times he is typecast.    Food looked great.  French, Japanese & Korean spoken.  A Father never part of story or mentioned, seemed odd. Loved the Weak Class Hero 2 Easter Egg "Where did you go to High School?" Yoo Soo Bin's character asks. (They acted together in that).  

---First kiss ML initiated w/lips just touching no movement.  2 more kisses initiated by FL. Then 1 or 2 more by ML.  Last kiss mouths planted on each other so actors more comfortable?

Ending - Restaurant is left alone by ML's cold mom.  The brothers warmer to each other. Mom still a piece of work.

Notes:  Kept falling asleep.  It took me a long time to realize Park Gyu Young was the therapist.  Had I known it was her, killer would have been obvious.  An A -list actress in a small role is a dead giveaway.  List of suspects/suspense was carried out well.  Interesting points by an MDLers:- 1) Why didn't mom go back to amusement park instead of waiting in apartment all that time? 2) no scenes of killer actually killing anyone seemed odd.   FL very corky/interesting.  FL was supposed to have a mysterious dark side that mis lead us to think of her as a suspect.  Unfortunately, I didn't feel the actress translated this Jekyll-Hyde scenario well enough.  Super glad romance removed by editing team.  ML is 12 years older than FL & FL's character acted young.  Romance would have felt icky.  The friendship felt endearing.  The old rookie loved this story angle...wish they played this up a bit more.  Hyun Bong Sik is super at this type character/played it a few times.

Ending - Hint:  ML detective on a murder scene when FL (who claimed profiler retirement) shows up w/ a puzzle piece.  New case or FL really a Dr Jekyll-Hyde person?  Director interviewed said no 2nd season planned.  Killer committed suicide stepping into carousel ablaze.  Killer killed all the corrupted/people associated w/her mother's death.

Notes:  Hidden Gem.  MDLers dissapointed by lack of romance story arc?  Saw & felt chemistry w/leads but also the acting.  Chemistry was subtle goodness.  Humor was OTP, but I liked it a lot & laughed heartily.  Scenes in their imaginations creative.  Felt different/fresh.  A bit too many yelling scenes. Roy & Rosa couple amazing story arc.  Writers kept real reason for FL's ex to dump her a mystery til end (great idea).  Male pattern baldness drug side effects. Music okay.  Theme song I really liked.

---FL kisses ML 1st on outdoor gym equipment. Then he returns kiss.  Appearance of munchies, but can't totally see/tell.  2nd kiss looked like an acting kiss.

Ending - FL goes to Hawaii for job for a year & ML waits for her.  ML opens a new gym on a rooftop with no roof/walls.  (Very unrealistic).  Roy & Rosa dating happily. FL's sister get;s engaged if her bf's song is successful.

Notes:  DROPPED...Fantastic cinematography, like American quality...very surprised.  Had to drop at story 3.  too weird.  All stories touch on ethical questions for humans in the future. 

Black Sheep emotional story of body dysmorphia (total surprise).  

Paraphobia story of advancement via robots.  FL sexually abused as a small child (disturbing how mom let this happen & how nonchalant little girl agreed/delt with it.  How often did this occur?) & this was her answer. Tried to do documentary 60's style, but scenes too random/didn't make total sense.

Third story monk fighting the new kind of religion that proclaims humanitarianism but is really a cult dynamic. Never got to 4th story.

Ending Black Sheep - FL becomes a male & returns to space
Ending - Paraphobia - FL's sex robot business targeted/dismantled.  FL becomes successful making a household wholesome maid robot.

Notes:  Fantastic & complicated story idea but not executed well.  Strong triangle story arc that writers could have ended w/either ML. MDLers differ on opinions to who is ML & ML2.  A lot of the extra characters seemed useless to story.  The FL wasn't my fav either.  Age gap of FL & ML2 is 10 years IRL which was a bit bothersome to me...different actress may have helped?  ML2 looked too young to have kids, although his fatherly acting was really good.  This could have been an amazing drama, but sadly it wasn't executed well.  Many parts draggy/boring. I was mesmerized by ML2. Enjoyed matching floral ties outfits. CGI low budget looking, but seemed acceptable for this level of drama.

Ending - FL returns to fairy world for about 4 days (4 years in mortal world) & then comes back to ML2. Daughter stays w/dad & son goes w/mom during 4 yrs.  [(Present: Kim Geum/Kim-Kim, Past: Alkaid (Immortal), Past: Woodcutter] + [Present: Ok Nam, Past: Dubhe (fairy)] + [Present: Jung Yi Hyun, Past: Lee Ji (sacrificed kid) Merek (Immortal), Past: Deer] Merak as the deer asked woodcutter to grab wings for her, but butterflies left to his horror leaving FL stuck in mortal world. Merak burned villagers and suffers black pain. ML2 goes to mortal world w/her to save her leaving his lover behind.  As ML burns falls area FL's son turns into dragon & squelches fire w/rain & queen shows ML his story (ugly village girl tries to save child).
