Yasukawa Goro is a Japanese composer from Aichi, Japan, raised in Iida, Nagano, Japan.

He dropped out of the Composition Department of the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts. During his studies, he began working as a studio musician, and it was around 1989 when he met Ishii Takashi that he started working on music for visual works.
