ICYMI — photoshoot of the couples and a very well written article on the drama for anyone interested.https://www.lifestyleasia.com/bk/living/people/to-sir-with-love-on-the-love-between-two-men-our-humanness/Film’s…
Thank you! These were really good interviews. Loved their insight.

I hear you, sis! I've been burned by bad ending so many times myself, so I know where you're coming from. Hopefully we'll get the ending we're hoping for.
Thanks to Gian below for links to ep 12. After torewatching ep12 withsubtitles I think I’ll wait until this…
I think we're still too high on Li's current actions to see just how nasty Jan has been. We shouldn't forget she sent an assassin to take out Tian and also tried to kill him when he was still a child. From where I'm standing, they're both equally as bad. The only difference is Li tries to justify her actions by playing the protective mother when we all know she's just as selfish and evil as Jan. And Li has a much more competent sidekick to boot. Aunt Jia is a fearless potions master ninja, and she's ride or die. If Jan had her at her side, and Tian as her son, she would be doing exactly what Li has been doing.
I rigged some bootleg eng subs together for ep11(full Ep) using the Vietnamese subs from TrueID. They ain't perfect but you should get most of it. Lol -Linked Under Spoiler
Hey, again!Pretty much where I'm sitting on this. The story, social commentary, character development, and worldbuilding…
I LOVE your thinking! Those are all top tier talent/couples that would get a lot of people watching. Why R U played a bit with that idea using Tee/Fuse and Tharn/Type as cameos and the gurls lost their minds! So I can only imagine the hype this would get having this happen on a larger scale with the cast you suggested.
We really be needin' somebody like you in the GMMTV offices shooting them these ideas!
Hey, again!Pretty much where I'm sitting on this. The story, social commentary, character development, and worldbuilding…
I really appreciate it, sweatheart! I got the amount of sleep I needed. :)
I definitely remember the Buffy day craze... Good times! Buffy, Charmed and Angel were my gotos back in my teenage years. I watched and enjoyed Supernatural, but I wasn't a diehard. I think it would be a tall task to watch the complete series at this point though, so I'm not surprised you still haven't finished. Lol But I think you'll be good to go on Bastard Son if those shows were an interest to you.
Non-BL Thai dramas... Hmm, I don't have too many to name since they aren't my regular jam, and most are ones I suggested before, I believe.

And I can maybe recommend The Love Proposal, but they really did do the gay supports dirty in this one, even though I liked the straight leads and the brotherhood between the brothers(Touch and Time). The drama between the feuding families is quite delicious too. Lol And if you do decide to watch; a fair warning for SA with one of the female support characters, even though the clown(eventually) gets what's coming to him. I don't regret watching the drama though, and it was worth it to see an incredible actor like Tre in action. Who did such a great job in this series. I think you would probably love him.
AJ and JJ as main leads would be great. It's starting to feel like GMMTV has more talent than they really need. The list of names at this point is staggering. I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing more of their talent move on to other agencies soon.

The hours at work are doing me, but I'm good!
I'm a little surprised our gurl Jenny got on board with something like this, but I can't be too surprised since her talents are being wasted like you said. Our gurl still gotta eat and I'm very sure it's difficult for her to pick up good roles when who she is isn't so socially accepted or seen as economically lucrative(even within the BL sphere). But we both know she has shown the talent to be a star. Hopefully she gets her big break soon.
I'm glad you brought up Fiat, because guuurl he's a prime example! He goes back to the SOTUS days for me and has shown nothing but growth as an actor and star power ever since. His roles in The Gifted(highly recommended) and My Gear and Your Gown are both examples of how great of a talent he really is. Not to mention his musical talent. I'm glad he got out when he did to find somebody who can recognize it.
I'm so proud of that baby and can't wait to see him in his new roles(Wish Me Luck looks amazing with Na!). I heard he was going through a tough time before leaving GMMTV and I just wanted to give him a big o'l hug. I did think he and Folk stole the show in My Gear, even though I honestly felt he had even greater chemistry with JJ at one point.
I already started Young Royals S2 and the drama is REAL already! I am NOT okay with this only having 6 episodes... I won't spoil anything in case you haven't seen it, but be ready. I also just came off of watching The Bastard Son and The Devil Himself on Netflix and it was WILD! I would recommend but I'm not sure you're into supernatural dramas and a bit of gore. Lol There's a bit of a BL element in here with a love triangle/poly thing with the three leads that remind me of 3WBF. It will definitely need another season to fully flesh this out though.
I'm off to bed after finishing Roommates of Poongduck 304! Which I highly recommend as well. It's been one of the best SK BLs this year for me.
Hey, again!Pretty much where I'm sitting on this. The story, social commentary, character development, and worldbuilding…
I really hope you've been well!!
I definitely agree about Louis and AJ. I think they've showed a lot of talent here as well. And even though they didn't get the chance to shine as bright as the other three I mentioned(Which is one of the reasons I wanted to see more conflict and a proper resolution between Kan and Thua), I do believe they've earned their flowers to be leads in their own series at this point. I think we can both agree that GMMTV has an issue with sideling a lot of their good talent, and I really hope enough folk can make enough noise for that to change at some point in the near future.
I don't think I've heard of the show you mentioned, but it sounds like an offensive mess! Lots of growth, but still more work to be done like you mentioned. As long as we keep getting more shows like these(with a little better care), they will do great in the foreseeable future!
I loved that this brought important issues like coming out, inclusivity, and mental health issues to the forefront.…
Hey, again!
Pretty much where I'm sitting on this. The story, social commentary, character development, and worldbuilding were near perfection in the first and middle half, but somewhere toward the end it lost a bit of steam and wrapped up certain things in a bit of a rushed fashion. I think they probably needed more time/episodes to flesh out those story threads that were left unfinished like you mentioned, and to better handle the other bits that did get resolved. I was definitely hoping to learn more of how and why Chadok's relationship with Di dissolved so much, and why he chose to stay at the school in the first place after what happened. And I definitely thought the dean could be Chadok's mother or a close family member, but they decided to leave us hangin' chile... The diary was supposed to be the core of the story but I didn't feel like we learned enough about it either. Something tells me there's much more to the story in the novel it's based on.
And the Thua heel turn did need more time to be properly resolved as well. They brushed that under the rug way too easily and quickly.
But I do love the show overall. Definitely one of my top favs this year, I really hope to see more shows like this and Not Me tackling these subjects in such a compelling fashion. First, Khaotung, and Neo have shown incredible growth in their acting here. I see a bright future for them if they stay on the right path.
Would be nice to hear Jam's perspective as well.
And I hollered when she tried to scalp Nuan's big mouth self.
