I'm glad I waited until this was properly subbed before watching. I think I watched the first two episodes before putting it on hold because of that. Won't name the subber since they've been through enough attacks by rapid fans and studios(and want to remain private), but I want to thank them for subbing the series. This show's drama was a whole mess(the good and entertaining kind) but it was cute and fun too. The dad can kick rocks, and should be in prison. U should've brought a taser for his old a**. but he probly didn't need it since his hits were weak AF. and Tisa was the most ratchet one. I hope her family's company goes bankrupt. Loved all the other characters and couples though.

It's very rare that you see siblings as parents in anything, and even more rare that it's a gay brother and sister…
Yessss to Goddess Cher! She is a textbook example for your points, and I'm glad you brought her up. It's so important for people to remember that the issue isn't always because of negative intent. Parents can struggle with it for different reasons, so it is always good to keep an open mind before suspecting the worst. I'm glad to see a BL show like this introduce this discussion into the room. You are right, the parents in BL are typically aggressively supportive or brutally against against the BL couples. So it's nice to see this taken in a more grounded approach. I'm just hoping we get enough time to cover this with the show only being four episodes apparently...

Except for the strategic planning meetings between Q, Toy and Frank, I really like this series so far. It looks…
It's very rare that you see siblings as parents in anything, and even more rare that it's a gay brother and sister raising a child. The dynamic reminds me of the one I share with my sis, and I think you nailed the point about the mom's concerns. It's very possible that she's speaking from experience. Maybe her brother hasn't always had the best life living as a gay man, and she's concerned for what that could mean for her son. It don't mean she doesn't accept him or gonna start trying to turn him straight. Being gay or queer isn't always the sunshine and rainbows it's typically played up to be, and they come from a different generation.

This episode was a mess and not in a good way like previous episodes. From seeing the entire crew in Chahub's…
Chile... I've given up on us getting any good sex scenes at this point, because the NC scenes just wasn't it in this episode. Daonuea pretending like he's embarrassed when he just got shagged in front of a full audience on a crowded boat. Gurl Bye! And why was they in the exact same drawls as before?

This episode definitely felt like another step back. Daonuea back to pretending like he didn't just choose Nine to be with in the last ep, Tee pretending like none of those rejections happened, and now we're right back to Daonuea hating Nine's guts for lying about all the fake clients. And yes, that ain't adding up since we've been seeing Tee constantly absent and apparently working long hours finding clients for the company. Which didn't seem related to Nine at all. Nine must be filthy rich and super desperate if all of those clients were fake. Also, that's a super dirty strategy on his part since it was probably all to keep Tee busy, and away from Dao. Lol

So we're left with Daonuea basically abandoning the company and parading his relationship with Nine around like he didn't just make a mess of his relationship with Tee, and Nine now having the option of pulling out his assets and letting the company fall flat on its face since none of the clients were real to begin with.

I've had my issues and suspicions about Tee, but I don't think you can be kicked any harder at this point. The cheating in the trailer seemed to all be a fake out, with Tee apparently being totally faithful the whole time. So at this point I'm just rooting for Tee and Ice to get together and leave all those horrible people. Daonuea and Nine can kick rocks.

Your question got me thinking about how a BL could be "new"... given that they are essentially love stories and…
Yesss, I agree with him. it's all true.

The people complaining are mostly just folks mad their favorite BL ended and don't want to start over with a new one. So there's this bitterness that lays with them when new actors and stories don't meet the standards of their old show, and if it somehow does they may feel like their fav show's place is being challenged anyway, so they call it a cheap ripoff. I know some shows just aren't for everybody, but I be seeing the same old tired people bringing that same negative energy to all the BL sections on this site,,,

Also, I would really love for one of these BLs to introduce a poly relationship like you mentioned. I've seen quite a few shows that could've worked a bit better with that element honestly.

Chile it wouldn't be BL if it turned out like that... And it ain't new. You talkin' bout tons of bromance series which are huge in China alone. Korea just pulled a story like that just last month with Love In Spring and everybody hated that ish for them promoting it as a real BL.

Yes, it's probably a number of factors that led the kisses not to turn out great. And I think this was his first role where it stood out to me, so it probably wasn't his fault.

That explains it. I haven't seen the Stranded but I'm glad there's something else to support that the issue with the kissing wasn't on Perth's part.

These last few episides have gotten so much better. The break up with Praew and Nine was so realistic. Most break…
YESS to finally seeing some real progress and character growth! For all the ads, sloppy offensive writing, and the dragged out scenes that we've had to sit through, it was nice to see some of our patience paying off in these episodes.

Both Daonuea and Praew received boatloads of delicious character growth here. Dao after finally learning the truth about Nine is able to be real with Tee and give him a proper rejection. Best actually did an okay job here with some of the more emotional scenes despite what we saw in the other episodes. I am beyoooond glad all of that confusion has be laid to rest for now. Hopefully we'll get an episode for them to breathe and have some proper sweet moments like you said... At least before Stud makes his grand return.

Preaw looks to be finally out of her demon phase. and I am so GLAD for that because o'l girl wasn't handling herself proper. And I feel like this was all possible because she got a real supporting fan and friend out of Ice, cause lord knows that wasn't Candy... I think Ice is actually pretty underrated, and I really like him so far.

Why do I get the impression Tee is going to be turned into a villain character soon? There was all the shenanigans with the flashback stuff, which I honestly couldn't keep up with to understand, and then of course the kissing assault that took place after Tee agreed to be 'brothers' with Daonuea again... Somebody probly needs to tell Tee that ain't what brothers be doing, sir! Dao is definitely gonna need to start slapping these mofos when they step outta line like that, or take some sort of defense class.

and Tee totally set himself up for that rejection like you said. He should've known once Dao found out the stuff with Praew and Candy was a misunderstanding that Dao was just gonna feel the same way he did before about Nine. There's just something about his desperateness to have Daonuea that just don't sit right with me, and never did. It's always felt like an obsession for sex vs love with him, and Daonuea's been holding it up like a Mount Everest. Lol I suppose we'll see how he turns out.

This is my review and my personal opinion that shouldn't affect others, neither I have to agree with what others…
I don't think Jon is underage. He mentioned in one of the episodes that he was 18, and I think Jenna mentioned that she was around 23. Who was actually fresh out of her grad year with no experience as a coach(her initial plan was to be an assistant coach). Barb/Bob was in the same university as Jenna and graduated with her at the same time, so I suspect he/she too is around her age(especially considering the Thai honorifics she uses for him/her). So not a super major age gap here. I think the age of consent in Thailand is 15, which is very problematic in my opinion, but I don't think neither Jon nor Oat were underage here by US standards.

Their position as coach and student was made an issue in the series. Jenna was fired from her position once the school found out about their relationship. Barb never acted on his/her feelings toward Oat. So that was more of a one sided crush situation. They did fawn over the boys with each other at one point, but that was only because Jon handpicked players that Jenna would be especially attracted to(most of them weren't even actual players). Which was a ploy to have her removed from her position.

I think it only seems more problematic because of how the actors are much older than the characters they're playing. but like you mentioned, they're all over 21 anyway,

I've been complaining about the kisses too. but they seem to fall on deaf ears. Perth is a talented actor, but his kissing definitely needs some work. Or maybe the director is the problem. His kissing seemed fine in Love by Chance, if I'm remembering it right.

I don't think it's available on any official platforms outside of VIU. I used a VPN for Philippines to get into the site.

Chile, I died at "need them to stop doing closeups to Best's face when he is trying to force out tears"! TRUTH!…
It's most probably camera crew/directors at fault for that like you said. I'm certain a more skilled team could pull a better performance out of him. I was only being half serious about his acting.

I've seen Best in a few things before. I think most recently was Love With Benefits. He seemed fine in that if I'm remembering it right.

As for the confusion, I don't think it was made clear to Daonuea that Nine isn't actually dating Candy, so when Nine referred to his ex, I'm assuming Dao thought he was talking about Candy. He hasn't met Praew yet, and doesn't know she was the one he really had the falling out with(or the one who tore up his office while he was away). So I think to him it looks like Nine is two timin him with two other women after seeing that news... Also, I blame Boat for this too, since he already knew the truth, but acted so shocked anyway to get everybody's attention.

Tee's client meetings and Nine's work assignments are confusing me too. Nine was definitely supposed to be the one bringing in the clients from what I recall, but it seems Tee is handling those task now. I think Nine is handling the camerawork for the ads, while Boat is the editor, and Dao handles the paperwork at this point.

Tee seems to be working much harder and longer than everyone else, so I'm really wondering if it's just clients at this point.

And I agree about Praew coming back. She likely isn't done since we still have five more episodes.

Wasn't there a part in teaser when Tee cheated on Dao or something? Maybe that's why or maybe I got it wrong XD
Yes, this is true, but the trailer alludes to Tee cheating again on Daonuea... with his coworker Ice, and Nine confronting Tee about it. It's not clear if he started doing this after he finds out about Daonuea's relationship with Nine or was doing it all along though.

What a mess! And I love most parts of it! Nine and Praew are that couple who go through break up cycles until…
Chile, I died at "need them to stop doing closeups to Best's face when he is trying to force out tears"! TRUTH! Our poor baby Best can't act his way outta paper bag but they really tried it! The scene was at least deliciously messy like you said though. I think Daonua is just so fed up with being played and I think that's what really hit me with that whole scene and why I liked it. With all the flashback they kept showing of them I think he was seriously considering going back to Nine after the kiss.

It's just a whole mess and there's no point trying to defend any of the characters now since they've all proven to be such ridiculously sh**ty people to the point that their actions can't be taken seriously. I don't know if Tee is already cheating again, but there could be only two reasons he wasn't angry about the kiss and the 'lover's quarrel': 1. He's already cheating, doesn't care, and is just waiting to sleep with Daonua(because that clearly hasn't happened yet). Or 2. He feels like he deserves it for betraying Daonue's trust the first time. At this point I be just pulling out my apple slices and enjoying the show!

But I do agree about the Praew rape stuff. There's just some things you just don't want to see and think goes too far, and I think it's even more problematic that they're tying it to bipolar. I honestly skipped it. The last scene was at least profoundly informative that there was simply no love left in that relationship. Praew simply needs to move on... to jail or a psyche ward preferably.

I agree with your comments really good writing and love Jon and Jenna giving things a try super cool with 2 episodes…
Yessss! I forgot to mention Jenna agreeing at the end to give things a shot with Jon was a nice surprise and a cherry on top, especially considering it looked like she was about to break his heart.

I know Jon's actor(Perth) from Love By Chance, and he is such a gifted actor. He really does make you feel like there is no way you can say no to him when he begs. Both he and Wawwa work as true leads in this show.

I'm really excited to see how all of this will wrap. Coach Kang needs to be punished more than just by being barred from soccer, and there's no telling what he'll do next.
