The last episodes were so cute and wholesome, I'd honestly recommend watching the first episodes to get the hang of it and then skip the entire "misunderstanding" arc (which, unfortunately, lasts almost the entire show), and just watch the last 5 or so episodes, for they not only show the real and meaningful progress in their relationship, but also show how healthy, steady and genuine people build up themselves and those close to them.

I loooove that we got to see FCY breakdown sobbing and MOURNING the townspeople, the nice ones and the not so much, cause often times FLs just shed a pretty tear and move on to the next thing, but here we got to see her grief, desperation, fear and helplessness, kudos to TXW for bringing such intensity to a very devastating situation 😭

Only after Fei Ni stopped the newspaper director from firing her for stealing FN's work did she start helping them tho, but you are right about her characteristics, she would have been just fine relying one her own talents, glad to see her growth these last few episodes.

I'm not sure either but he was shortlisted and some time has passed since then, and I thought he was the douche that threw Fang Mujing train ticket out of the window when she was returning to her university after seeing FMY at the hospital, I could be wrong about the timing tho 🤔

Anyways, I reaaaaally hope Fang Muyang learns from his mistakes, but I guess that will take some time after seeing how he made a fake coupon right after she forgave him for using her hard earned money for something she especifically told him she did not want or need.

I'm really enjoying it BUT why are all the men lowkey dumb and useless 🧐 (some more than others: her father, her brother, Fang Muyang, Ye Feng, even Feng Lin's bf), and all the young girls portrayed as cunning and selfish (Fei Ni in a way, Feng Lin, Ling Yi), I know it's probably the same old tale: women having way more responsibilities than men from the moment they were born, thus having to grow up earlier, but ugh, I hate to see the same dynamics in every couple: women having to solve the problems for their men and practically having to guide them by the hand to get things done 😫

I can't even entirely hate Feng Lin cause everyone is trying to keep the good opportunities for themselves and their people, and her sleeping with her boyfriend shouldn't even be leverage against her, what should be used against her is that she put another person's life at risk to keep up the secret and her manipulation, but even that is more of Ms. Xu's problem (now that is someone I do dislike jsjs).

My support for her wavered a bit when she acted all devastated by the break up as if what they had wasn't just a delusion on her part, but the way she handled ML's mom after knowing the truth and Lele's visit was amazing 👏👏👏 I love her!

Lin Zhihua the man that you are! 🤌 He is such a green flag 🤧 love how he had always been mindful of her age and respectful of their relationship boundaries when he didn't know about the time traveling, that's why I wish he openly flirted with her like in the KTV scene only after learning she is from the future, which was literally just minutes after, but that exchange was so layered and intimate I'm turning a blind eye.

Anyways, I just find him so atractive and dreamy I'm definitely checking out Chen Jingke's other works.

Right now I just can't stand the ML or FL 😫, like I get they are young (I thought they were like 15 but YQ mentioned he is turning 17?!... anyways) and there's a lot of growing up to do, especially in the city, but FL seems really unable to let go of that little short while she spent together with ML, and he can't figure out how to be friends with her without angering his mother ig, and maybe it's that I didn't find the child actors play convincing, but I just find their bond superficial, it's the same with FL and the other two friends (not YQ), I get the feeling they only hang out with her because of the country bumpkins stick together rule.

I do hope their characters get better with time tho, because the production quality IS good and ZLH looks sooo cute here.

THIS. I always have in mind that inner monologue of hers where she goes "even though she was treated unfairly, it shouldn't be an excuse to hurt Sang Yan" because that defines her character and values SO well, she is so strong and so brave and so kind. She deserves the world not because of what she was put through, but because she is a really really good person regardless.

So, yes, I am looking forward Sang Yan's burning love for her, but I am also excited to see Wen Yifan's subtle and sweet acts of love, and how he fell first but both fell harder at the end.
