Title True to Love
Bora is not very likable character. She doesn't look like a matured woman. She has been acting really childish…
FL reads women's magazines for ideas, instead of books and doesn't seem to know how to namedrop appropriately. That Auschwitz reference was in bad taste and not knowing Chekhov's gun narrative principle for a supposedly brilliant writer she assumes herself to be is embarassing. Just like a lot of things is embarassing about her. That's one of the main points of this drama.
But that's the true face of influencers we're listening to instead of professionals - most of them don't have an academic degree in the field they're covering. They make stuff up as they go and are riding on their charisma.

I hope Sang Jin and Uri thing, whatever it is, is not gonna happen. It just rubs me the wrong way somehow. Maybe because of how Uri got insta crush on him and her general behavior.
He should just come back to his ex-wife.

And on another note, Yu Jung needs to face the truth and divorce her lazy ass, disinterested husband.

To ML's ex-girlfriend who just ditched him and is about to marry another guy, but still wants to make it hurt for ML: Cheateeer! 🎶🎵🎶
Seriously though, she was going on another date when ML tried to propose to her. Guess it was serious.

Oh no, a kdrama that shows a more realistic flawed FL, instead of a perfect sucessfull woman who stoically stays strong no matter the situation. The audacity.

Why not use HDMI cable to connect your laptop and TV? That's how I watch all the good stuff I download or stream from my pc. If they're not available on official streaming services I just get stuff from torrents, in glorious 1080p or even higher.

Anybody else not feeling main villain? He looks like a hard thinker grandpa, instead of just being eviI for evil’s sake. I’m not saying he should look like Jin Mu from AoS and laugh maniacally, but at least villains like Jin Mu garner strong reaction from the audience.
Here this grandpa just plays a competent political opponent to the royal family. Seems like it was their fault for being dumb and resting on their laurels. And his last dialogue with the king made feel like all he wants is to motivate the king to be better by besting him.

I have a feeling now like she was told to act seriously and majestic because she is a princess. I guess she is…
She was already like that from the very beginning.

Yea, she's too stiff with samey expressions all the time. I tried writing it off initially because of her role, but now I feel that her acting is just lacking.

I think that's what hooked him the most. Not her appearing before him faking she's fine, but seeing her twice with another guy. I think he's going to try getting her back out of male pride.

She's not dislikable, failing to tell the truth until it is too late is a common trope. But her situation as a whole is fantastical.

If she was a princess in irl Joseon era nobody would have let her out of the palace until she was married off to some high ranking official. This whole mingling with the common folk by working as a barmaid and still not having a husband at her age is utterly fantastical.

FL works her charm on him on subliminal level.

Yea, her husband seems to be just there for the ride while she always tries to keep their marriage up and running. Personally, I hate passive and lazy guys like him who won't stop sitting on their hands because everything is cozy so far. That's why ML also didn't leave a good first impression for me. If she divorces him in the end that would be ok in my book. Living together out of habit is not love, it's simply cohabitation.

Why the heck is this so interesting to watch? Nothing special is going on that hasn't happened in other dramas, but it's so gripping. The last two episodes are fire, Bo-Ra is back on her horse and is so damn cute 🤗. YIN definitely is nailing her role. And I love the witty banter in this drama.

My only gripe, not specifically with this kdrama, cuz it's alternative title should be "Second-hand Embarassment", but in general - for ffs, plz stop inserting obligatory "wasted FL embarasses herself in front of ML" scenes. They're practically in every kdrama out there! It's really getting out of hand. Why male characters are never presented in this way? Why in kdramas they're always the white knight who stoically takes care of inebriated women? Never do these kdramas show how irl men often take advantage of drunk women, how men drink themselves into a stupor or start acting agressively. No, let's promote alcohol consumption in positive light (who cares about some silly gastritis and addiction) and make fun of wasted female characters just because it's funnier (?) 🙄.

Also, I didn't quite get why CEO divorced his wife, did he cheat on her? She seemed really upset with him.

am i the only one that finds the scenes between uri and the ceo kind of weird? not sure where they're going with…
Yea, that girl is rather dimwitted and CEO doesn't seem to know what is considered appropriate work ethics. ML was right to berate him, it doesn't look appropriate from the side. More incidents like that and other employees will start gossiping that CEO has an eye on her.
My guess is that after divorcing his sophisticated (and btw, rather cool) wife CEO wants something simple now. Doesn't excuse his weird behaviour though.
