What separates a bad actress from good one is that one is a robot and the other can freely add something cool…
No, I will hate the actress, because she didn't put an effort or was not able to. There were lots saeguks with similar traditional FLs and yet they did a way better job. Showrunners should really stop hiring idols for lead roles, they're usually not up to the task. The girl couldn't even change facial expressions to liven up the scenes. Playing a princess doesn't mean you have to be stone faced all the time.
It's an above average series which is worth the watch. Don't listen to these FL criticism in the comments. She…
What separates a bad actress from good one is that one is a robot and the other can freely add something cool from herself to the role even if the script is nothing to write home about. FL here is the former.
Ending was dumb, time skips and FL hiding was unnecessary. 6.5 overall from me, they've ruined the second half of the show with boring, regurgitated plots about politics and subpar acting from almost eveyone.
I don't know if she had botox or something (I don't think so), but I think there are scenes where her makeup is…
Yea, there are definitely some dramas where staff did a poor job. Too much make-up, too shiny, too much lighting at scenes, bad angles, etc. This drama isn't too bad though, I've seen much worse. Also, different hair and make-up can drastically change actor's appearance and presumed age. Take same YIN for example in Snowdrop, I barely recognized her there with black hair and glasses.
This would be pretty close to a perfect romcom except Yoo In Na's face ruins it. She's had so much work and/or…
I haven't noticed it. Her facial expressions are lively and she does lots funny micro expressions. If she was botoxed to the brim she wouldn't have been able to do them. Nothing much has changed here since Touch Your Heart. Can't say it stands out compared to other SK actresses, and they've all done it to some extent.
What I did find immersion breaking is her character going to the gym to lose weight and tone up when she's already so frikking thin 🤣. My only in-drama explanation for this comes from ML - he said she can't look at herself objectively.
When did Soo Hyuk first realize that the woman who “took [his] breath away was definitely “Dating Coach Deborah”?…
I wouldn't read too much into it. It's just natural for men to get enthralled at the sight of a gorgeous woman. But ML is not that shallow and it happened years ago. It is a tropey romantic coincidence, but I very much doubt FL's looks influenced ML's decision with the ring.
Boooring! Looks like the only one who's trying is Woo Do Hwan. The rest are just adding to the snoozefest. Suggestion to Bona - do some acting classes and learn to make different faces at the very least, ffs, I'm not even suggesting micro expressions. Suggestion to myself - stop watching traditional saeguks, in the end they're all repetitive and boring. I wanna slap myself for starting watching this.
If anybody wants to see an FL with great facial expressions - go watch currently airing Bo Ra! Deborah. That's how real pros work.
And not looking forward to CEO and Uri getting together. His ex wife giving him a green light was kinda foreshadowing. This subplot is the most offputting to me. Just cringe, don't do it and nope.
The preview, shes so dumb to go back with the trash....if that really happens next week i just give up.
Previews are always misleading. Trust only what you've seen in the episodes proper. We've already seen recently what FL really thinks of her ex - a trashy liar. In the preview we've only seen her ex's delulu wishful thinking and more jealousy, and ML's side only.
I don’t believe anymore in Korean previews so I hope this one is the case
Yea, never trust them. They are always misleading for hype's sake. Next week ML needs to do only one thing with FL that he failed to do with his ex - define their relationship right here and now. And somebody really needs to throw FL's ex into a garbage bin, fr.
I'm beginning to think that none of the couples in this drama really loved each other. Most female characters wanted to marry for the sake of "married" status. Most men were not ready or forced. -FL and her ex. Lots of delusions from FL, but overall nope. -ML and his ex. Definitely not enough. -FL's friend and her lazy husband. One sided at best. -ML's friend and businesswoman. How the ef they even got together, that guy is so clueless all the time. -FL's bitchy bride friend and her fiancee. Same old - status and forced. Are shorunners trying to say something about men here? That they're all man children and won't stop fooling around until grey hair starts sprouting or something? Or is it something about women becoming more desperate and possessive with age?
Only careless youngsters may have something, but I'm not sure it's gonna last when faced with harsh realities of real life, because now they seem to be living without a care in the world as a NEET and minimal wage hobo.
