I haven't watched the last two episodes but the plot lost something and started derailing for me petty early on,…
It was at that time they’ve started to noticeably deviate from the source material. It’s every fkn time, I tell ya. There’s a good plot, just take it and put it on screen. No, it’s them noname writers with big egos who think they can do better - they’re ruining scripts every single time. Most of the changes were not for the better.
You’re not the only one. It seems the writers couldn’t help themselves but ruin a perfectly good webtoon plot and characters with stupid adlibs and tropey cliches. I’m also starting to think that ex was removed from the webtoon for a reason - she makes the plot unfocused and is unnecessary filler for the sake of cheap drama.
This episode has derailed the plot and looks like trainwreck in the making. I’m lowering the score now, cuz I’m here mainly for the revenge on the evil bish. Not on the side one that took her place now. And definitely not for the dumb filler and makjang cliches.
Is the Boa character worse than the fake best friend killer?
It seems she's a total nutjob like Soo Min, but has more means to "express" herself. I mean, did you see that flashback about some woman that was brutally beaten because of ML?
What's also different from the manga, besides the cliche WTOD hit and run, is the timing of FL's mother's appearance.
She did appear when news of ML and FL dating were revealed. But it only happened much later, when Soo Min was already in jail for killing Min Hwan's mother. It was her last attempt to shit on FL. I guess here she'll go to jail and we'll hear of her no more.
What sort of logic is that? ML should continue enduring that insufferable wench for the rest of his life even though it was just an arranged engagement? The way she was talking as if they were already married for many years and had kids, jeez. It also goes against her promise to her dad to not waste a second chance in life to be happy. Furthermore, she saw the delulu ex in person and she was totally delulu. Why leave ML to suffer with her? Come on, FL, get it together. The guy's already pessimistic af, don't make it worse.
FL should stop playing the victim, martyring herself for no reason and stand up for herself. The delulu bish has nothing on her. Personally, I hate these types of FLs who shamefully remove themselves from the equation without talking it out with MLs or even asking them with whom they want to be with. Somehow they only think about some delulu bish's feelings, instead of ML's. If you wanna see a rare occasion when there was no dumb break-ups because of some bish on the horizon, and where FL didn't take any of the delulu ex's bs and stood up for herself well - watch Crazy Love.
The delulu ex-bish reminds me somehow of one from Crazy Love. She even looks somewhat similar. Also, FL has some weird logic about breaking up. Breaking up may be painful for the other side, but if you can't endure the relationship then you can't endure it. No reason for both sides to stay miserable. Also, this doesn't apply to ML and his ex because there was no love there to begin with. Personally, I hate these cliche periods in romantic stories where some bish appears and misunderstandings and inability to talk things through leads to stupid break-ups.
Furthermore, FL's mother was a nasty bish, maybe it was for the best she left the family.
Can anyone tell me how Sumin ended in webtoon? Did she feel any remorse for what she did? And how was her marriage…
She ended up in jail for life for killing Min Hwan's mother and trying to run over FL and ML with a car. She didn't feel any remorse and became very unhinged at the end. Min Hwan died like a total idiot. He wanted to kill Sumin in a car crash and take her death insurance, but when he learned his mother died he rushed to the hospital in a car he himself sabotaged just a day prior and crashed to death.
Most of the changes were not for the better.
Cliche after cliche and so fckn dumb.
I'd recommend Doctor Slump, but it's very stressful to watch as well for different reasons.
