#1 all Unnie squad scenes #2 when FL got stuck in a window frame like Winnie-the-Pooh and then walked through the city with a concrete frame around her waist that she squeezed out. #3 pantsu thief episode, because it's anime classic
I'm on episode 11 right now. And drama is still genuinely gripping. Does it really take a sharp dive, or people are exaggerating here? I don't really care about lack of romance here either, but I do care about coherent plot.
I really hope we get to see our favourite Unnie squad and our beloved French teacher last episode!!! They were…
That "Unnie" guy was such a green flag I thought he was a great match for FL's friend from the very beginning. Glad the drama went that way. Yea, he's not handsome, or whatever she wanted, but can't be picky in a small town.
Boring and I don't feel the chemistry here. Just lots of cheesy cliches, spotty acting, annoying love triangles and bland office routine filler.
SML was better as an antagonist in Crazy Love, that role fit him. Here he's, I dunno, robotic, kinda creepy and too old for FL? SFL is a total cliche bitch, seen it in every other drama. Office characters are mostly boring, but elder couple is more cute than the main couple for some reason. Also, office colleague character with weird big eyes and black hair can do better, seen her in Goblin and Touch Your Heart <-watch this one if you want a good office romance.
I love dramas with good humor and so far Behind Your Touch is spot on with its jokes. And I also love when dramas don't waste my time by inserting filler nobody cares about, this drama so far has not let me down. Even hopeless pining for SML has a purpose, I think, the guy's sus and will play some role later on, I bet. But I'm only on episode 6 so far. Let's see how it goes. I've read that FL starts acting like a total dumbass later on? I can say that ML is doing that from the beginning, that's why he's not a good cop and got transferred to the boonies. He can't solve anything without FL's help, all attempts to look cool and professional usually fail due to him being too dense for the intricate country world 😂.
Is it really that great to get 9.2? Or overrated as always? I've watched 2 episodes so far and I'm not seeing anything special or eye catching like it was with Alchemy of Souls, for example. I'm not into superheroes plots, enlighten me those who have completed it - it's not some cliche superhero with double life origin story, right?
This drama kinda got boring and stale with all the love triangles and going back and forth whether spells work or not. It was interesting in the beginning though, even with unlikable protagonists. SML is kinda creepy and jaded and ML, let's face it, is a cold hearted jerk. Not sure what FL finds in either of them, but I guess since she feels so lonely she's willing to jump on any guy who says he likes her, even with mixed messages and/or under a spell. I agree with other commenters saying that there's not enough meat on this drama's bones and love triangles are a filler to waste our time for 16 episodes.
Second season is not much better than the first. Yea, there’s much more action here, but the plot is all over the place; protagonists most of the time are stubborn, dumb af and naively trusting, barely able to react to what’s being thrown at them; there are lots of folklore characters and monsters packed here to waste the main hero’s time since he's stuck in the past for a while and even zombies are thrown into the mix for yet another dumb and cheesy “save some character” subplot to prolong screen time even more.
Most of the time in this season the main hero spends on babysitting and/or saving his whiny brother, his friend from the present who jumped after him, his retconned backstabbing mountain god peers, tons of side characters, other Korean folklore creatures and seems like the whole of Joseon from occupying Japanese forces, many of which are Japanese yokai in disguise. No pressure, right? But the whole time watching this I just got annoyed at him for his guilty conscience and for wasting time on something that cannot be changed and what will only leave more painful memories and make it harder for him to leave. His brother would have survived somehow for the future no matter whether he saved or left him.
In the end dumbassery and scatterbrained plot made this season almost as boring for me to watch as the first. It mostly felt like a fanservice for bromance between two brothers, which the audience barely got at the finale of season 1. Also, the brother now has 2 plotholes: 1) him still acting in the future like a whiny bitch who didn't experience anything from season 2 with his brother; 2) his mermaid girlfriend from the past. And there's as of yet unexplained one: why Ginko looked just like Russian female fox character (same actress) from season 1. And finally, they've introduced a new big bad right at the end of the season 2 and nothing came out of it, gotta wait for season 3 maybe. 6.5 max from me, I’m not ML’s stan so I won’t give freebies here, overrated.
The writer is doing ML dirty, making him spew all those dumb cheesy lines. And what is this? ML says he won't make another step towards FL then immediately proceeds to grab and kiss her.
Also, half the show is a boring snooze fest with boring work scenes, gossiping co-workers, cliche bitch of an SFL and clingy SML. Skippity, skip, skip, skip... I'm finding FL's two senior coworkers back-and-forth jabs at each other due to some unrealized feelings more entertaining than anything else currently going on in this drama. At the very least it feels more real, them working together for years, than sudden romantic obsessions of ML and SML and forcing fake love with spells or whatever.
I feel like they’re trying to make the point that he loved her before the spell already, but that makes no sense.…
Yea, "barely knew her" point is huge here. It looked like he really couldn't care less about FL before the spells, he was only interested in her as a possible way to cure his terrible disease.

It's even in the recommendations.
There's also plethora of other dramas with funny, bickering main leads and some mystery (but no fantastical powers), for example:

The last bastion of original, creative media. And Disney wants to put they grubby, ruinous hands on it too.
