So you're thinking the whole 4 of them took identities of those people dead in the car? How that happened I wonder and when. And I don't get how Ki Ho got separated from his brother and mother, or when that chair incident happened, or how long did he live with his policeman dad (if he really is his real dad)? And why his current step dad needs a fake identity at all.
Also, what is strange is that the policeman dad isn't looking for mom and the other son at all. Just Ki Ho. Does he think they're dead? Did he try to kill them?

So, what happened? The brothers mother killed her first husband and brothers real father in domestic violence incident and drowned him in the pond or something? And her next beau, the psycho policeman "dad" covered it up and took them all in as his family? He said they would have starved on the streets without him, kinda implying he's not their real dad.
And now the pond's gonna reveal the body soon due to drought? That it? That's what Bo Geol/Ki Ho is trying to cover up? He doesn't want mom to go to jail? I'm confused. Also, when was this? After he ran away from him on the island or before?

EDIT: Nvm, just saw the Netflix clip and there were 4 (!) skeletons in that pond recovered from a car. Wtf. I don't even know anymore.

I can understand FL here, since she has lost everything she clings to what's left of her old life - her dream of becoming a singer, fangirling over Ran Joo and finding her only real friend Ki Ho.
However, the show conveniently keeps Ki Ho (Bo Geol) in this sort of stasis - he still has no girlfriend/or family of his own and still lives in fear of his psycho dad finding him. Would that have happened realistically? Kinda hard to believe. At the very least that dad would have already been reported, given a restraining order followed by jail time.

Without Ki-Ho mystery this drama would not have enough plot for 12 episodes. However, I still find Ran Joo and FL's part of the story more interesting to follow than boring brothers subplot, because it was obvious Ki-Ho is Bo Geol from the beginning. Him giving the cold shoulder to FL and keeping his family in the dark about the cray cray dad's whereabouts also feels kinda selfish and potentially dangerous.

So, are two brothers real brothers and their current mother their real mother? Did she escape from psycho policeman dad with one son and left another in his care?
Also, who's the grandma in the hospital?

There's just one thing you gotta grasp here - people have freedom of speech on the internet, they don't have to qualify for anything to write their opinions here either. Who are you to police comments here?
But keep watching, while I'm not gonna waste my time anymore on this one. And I've advised newcomers on the fence not to as well. It's clear enough how it's gonna go. Seen saeguks like these before, won't be any surprises here.

Scores on this site are all over the place. From my experience relying on them when trying to determine whether a drama is worth the watch more often than not leads to disappointment and wasted time. But reading the comments and reviews at least gives a clearer picture.

It's been a slow autumn in kdramaworld, but this is just a waste of time. Dropping it.
Unrelatable characters, with unrelatable problems, many of which having boredom as the root of it looks like. A very regurgitated plot about yet another villainous minister trying to undermine the king and the current regime.
Very slow pace is not helping either. Nor overacting, but I guess can't blame the actors much for it since that's the only thing they can do to spice things up in this snoozefest of a drama. The only fun to watch character here is a rather unconventional king. But not worth wasting time on this just to watch his scenes.

It's based on manga series. Meaning the plot was already set. They just got those two actors together again for this live adaptation riding on Goblin success. That it ended how it ended, with audiences wanting more I'm thinking it certainly was taken into consideration when selecting potential actors.

That would depend whether he recognized the female writer. Is he dumber than a door nail or not? Judging by his intent stare I've hopes he recognized her. Meaning, he'd have even less problems recognizing his sister and ignoring it to not cause a scene.

That would be sad if this is it.
