Episode 14 is soo lame, so cliche 😭 And FL is so dumb to not fight for her worker rights. In the result we have an obligatory time skip and separation/break up (tentative). They just copy pasted A Business Proposal situation, but made it even dumber. At least in ABP FL told what’s what to grandpa, she wasn’t intimidated.

And, gasp, what a scandal! A non-idol, non-celebrity chaebol is dating (omg!) a regular woman! It must have been a really slow week for the media 🙄.
The only angle they could have had is dating a co-worker standing lower on the ladder, but they had no proof that it was an abuse of one’s station so in the end it’s all idle gossip.
Considering all of the other outdated, out of touch stuff they've pulled here, I'm starting to think that this drama could as well be set in Joseon era. At least nobles and peasant workers rights and attitude would have been more in line with what's being shown here.

And no matter how long they stay separated, marry or try to prove how good FL works, just like in A Business Proposal, it’s a futile endeavor. People will gossip anyway.
I’ve only seen one proper resolution to this dilemma to shut everyone up in kdramas - FL leaving to work for a rival company with no help from ML.

Asian parents and broken education system don’t seem to care about their children wellbeing even at home, forcing them to go to cram schools until late in the evening to stay competitive. I guess they care even less about Western countries ringing alarms and calling for a change because of the Boarding School Syndrome negatively affecting social lives and mental health of alumni in adult life.
Success and money is the only thing that matters, failure is not an option, nobody cares into what sort of pent up psycho you gonna turn out to be.

She was married to the grandpa though, wasn’t she? And they had a son. It’s not as simple as dismissing a worker.

I haven't watched episode 14 yet, did they explain the reason why ML's mother had left him? I can't think of any that would justify it save for a threat on her or his life.
If it's gonna be something banal like a bribe or some noble idiocy I'm gonna drop my overall score, I swear.

Ok, someone explain to me how a small child with no governess/guardian is supposed to live alone in the US and travel on planes? Why doesn't he have a nanny to look after him at the very least?
And why the ef is he living alone in the US with parents in SK to begin with? He's too small to attend the coveted Western colleges Asian people somehow think are better than their own. There are lots of very presitigious private schools for him at home.
I guess it's just to show how ML's sister is an utter monster of a human being.
Doesn't explain his father doing the same though, he didn't seem to be intimidated by her when he dropped her divorce papers.

Can already see it's gonna be overrated just like the first season.

Just watch it. It ends well, if a bit tropey.
Personally, I didn't particularly like this drama, FL's character or her acting. She was rather hypocritical and overall message of this drama was kinda muddy. So it's all kinda meh to me.

A suspensful ending and a pretty good drama overall. I'm giving it an 8.0.
Special props to FL for superb acting, carried the show.

The factory owner who was making clothes for her brand got over his head with money opportunities and made too much stock, and then commited suicide when her brand went down in popularity due to lies spread on the internet by the bbbfamous and demand plummeted.

She does, but romance here is very forced. No chemistry whatsoever. Probably because of mediocre acting from both of them. ML, for example, is stone faced all the time.

Some poor jealous nobody with mental issues, who was working as a masseur at the spa center where all the sns bitches liked to go to gossip. She was spying on all of them to gather dirt.

She faked her death to uncover the crazy anonymous poster who was badmouthing her on the internet and ruining her public image. Her friend and hacker brother made a livestream with her deepfaked face to reveal all the crimes of the bad guys and sns bitches.
