Y'all seem to believe anything that's flying around. Unless you date people casually, it does not necessarily mean you can forget a person in 5 years. A decade? That's something else. For context, that's like 2020. I mean to me it seems like the other day. And I have some emotional entanglements I had back then. Some situations can trigger others that I think I forgot.
Her crying is totally okay. Baek Hyun seems to ignore her and looks to be moving on. I think that's enough reason to become emotional. Relationships are built different so please let's try not to judge people. We don't know how much that person meant to them.
How can you tell someone is fake? One, you throw yourself to any potential partner. You try to appear relevant or charming so that your cast members and the audience can like you more. If you are Baek Hyun and want to create a buzz to make it career wise, what's the best way? BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR. Try to act all innocent and charming. People like you and you get more offers and or gigs.
But that's not the case for either of them. They just appear weird to you because yeah relationships are weird. Emotions are weird. We are weird in front of situations we're not used to. Sometimes weird when we have to confront our own emotions.
I don't know if its a Korean thing, people just make allegations online and people just seem to fly away with it. Sometimes there are some elements of truth in the rumors. But most times the facts are exaggerated because yeah to create more buzz and entertainment. Attracting more engagement seems to gain more entertainment value such that we're not looking at facts anymore.

Mmhmm, let's see, I think episode 2 will be the best for you as you get more into context and the background of the main characters. If by episode 5 you still have no interest, you won't like it overall. There's a plot twist or the show starts becoming more interesting in episode 5. After that you won't even be thinking when or not to stop. It will become enjoyable.

Woojin seemed to scandal free week in week out. Welcome to the gang. Now at least, when Ji Yeon isn't love bombing, she's somewhere telling her ex, I don't care for you. Let's see between her and Baek Hyun, who breaks first. I betting on Baek Hyun to break first. Ji Yeon seems like a tough one.

Rumors are that they do get back together though. That is, Baek Hyun and Hyeon Ji.
I am not sure about the rumors surrounding Hyeon Ji and her using her ex. I wouldn't care though because we have no way to prove it. Also, it sounds so serious so I would rather have myself believe she wouldn't do that.
But what I can say about Baek Hyun doesn't seem bitter because he feels used. At least that's not what he looks to me. I just think he's acting out. Its like he said, his heart wants one thing (lingering feelings) but his mind wants to move on. So as a result he keeps saying unnecessary things like he's feeling comfortable at the house and that he would support his ex if she decides to move on with another.
However, we saw its like a defense mechanism for him. He is like one step away from a mental breakdown. Also, it seems to me he was the one who was left (not the one who initiated the break up). Or the one was the most attached to the relationship and had a hard time letting go. Maybe he's bitter about that. Of the two, Hyeon Ji seems the most logical one and could have felt at the time it was right to break up.
So if it is me, I don't know, I would maybe act out if I met my ex today, especially in a setting where we're allowed to date other people. And even more if I still feel they were the one who let the relationship go (Of course, we always think its two people who take the blame for a relationship to fail). But it is what is, the heart is never an understanding organ sometimes even when you apply a lot of logic to it.

And some people were calling it boring. I guess they haven't seen the latest episodes. It was hella roller coster.
