Well, Ji Hyun is also an actress. Its just their career. If its about acting, he should have chosen a better image. Like being smooth with the girls. Flirting with all of them to look cool and popular. Also, if he's acting he should have texted Min Kyung. String her along even though he has no interest in her just to look cool and popular. You know I was in the Jihyun ship not too long ago but then I heard here in the comments that Baekhyun actually likes Yunnoung. I couldn't remember her so I went to watch the first episode since there are subs just to get to know her.
And I am not disappointed. I like Jihyun but I honestly think Yunnoung is such a great girl. She's beautiful but she also seem to have the best personality. If she becomes popular, its because I think she deserves it.

I would be really surprised if I found out that Baek Hyun and Jihyun are not exes. They're so obvious. Also, that would make a pretty awkward situation. You're right. Sometimes something may make logical sense but it still doesn't appeal to him emotionally. I am pretty sure he knows what you mean too. Most of the times our insecurities have no logical justification. Its just our prejudices at play.

You know it doesn't mean that she is in imminent danger that he has to hire someone for protection. It means he needs to feel he has the physical presence. Having a taller lady kinda reminds him he doesn't have that which now feeds off his insecurity.
