They're defending him because its personal, LOL. They're their friends so they are a bit biased. And its okay. I love seeing them riled up to scenes instead of acting modest. It makes it enjoyable.
Also, I know many people are dropping the show I think because they don't like Dong Ha. I don't know maybe its because he was open minded at the beginning and wanted to explore all his options. So he kinda came off as a player. As opposed to Jeong Geun who went all in.
So most dropping the show is maybe because they loved him more compared to Dong Ha.
Honestly, there aren't many ship to expect from the show. So, if you aren't enjoying the Dong Ha, Su Jin, Jeong Geun and the PD drama, then I can honestly understand why most people are getting bored. Your favorite isn't getting the screen time or maybe the ship you wanted to happen sank. So I get it.

I love how its always personal with the panelists. Their views are not media trained or curated for the tv show. They're just as immersed since they're people they know.

Most actors and actress stop doing melodramas when they reach that age. Just like most, not all, stop taking the high school roles once they reach 30 years. That's why you hear an actor or actress say he or she took that role because they think they won't be able to do it once they get older.

And still makes load of money from it? That's a win even for salty individuals like you. He winning in life with a beautiful wife and children. That's all that matters. You can hate or love his acting. It doesn't make his world stop.

But Haneul didn't like him back and that makes a world difference.

The ending is poor. Or should I say anti-climatic? What do you mean we get to see their sufferings but not their happy times? Anyway, anyone looking to watch it, please do. I am not an avid cdrama fan but even then this drama could still draw me in. That's how interesting it is.

Coz its hard being a FL or main role for that matter. Sometimes you just treat it like any other work and take on that role. Some of my favorite actors/actress who looked to have gained the Main Role status went too long without any scripts/work such that now I appreciate them under any role. Sometimes it clicks sometimes it doesn't.
