Yes Instead of showoing such random things those precious time could have been used for more character arc. May be show Sang Yan and his life outside what he did for FL. Show some of his shades , his life etc... I feel even his character has just been restricted to just show what he did for FL.. I mean even current times he just ends up where FL is . I know FL needs somone who gives her all the attention she needs but what is he doing when she works. How does he handle the bar? Does he contribute to the marketing, menu selection anything? or is he just an investor? how was he as a game devleoper . show something.

This is exactly what I wrote in another thread . That naked beggar scene as well. It seems in the novel she just goes to report about that beggar but here she ends up being saved by some equally creepy looking supposed actor ! Too much unrealistic and
not needed sympathy trope they tried to add for FL. So is that a fan service for fans of that intern actor ? I was not aware

I find that intern such a pointless role just inserted to get jealousy out of ML. it is so random . He was an actor who "saved" her from the naked beggar and then now he is an intern . why ? bcs we need ML to be jealous. I would rather want more meaningful scenes between ML and FL or the flashbacks showing more of. their relationship progress.
I am sorry but this is getting old. ML getting jealous for a random guy. or I am getting old who cannot go gaga over such scenes anymore :P

i love the expressions in all of the four people. They all are good actors

Thanks for the info. It makes sense now about the aunt. But the naked beggar and the actor scene I still find it random. Beggar let’s say she got unlucky again but that actor what was that for ! Does that mean there are more situations like this for her !! Nonetheless I hope they don’t edit and make it lose the smooth flow and let it be .

Okay thanks . It was definitely not clear. All she did was try to show some photo . I guess subtitles in the platform I watched did not mention it

I am loving it so far but is it just me ? That scene where aunt attacks her in office is so random . I mean scene with her mom I can understand but her aunt taking the time to come to office . I don’t get the motive .so is the scene with naked beggar and the actor . I mean we know FL has so many problems . She ends up with so many uncomfortable situations back to back is unrealistic IMO. That child actor popping out of nowhere and acting weird towards her again during umbrella scene after that as well.

It was her dream . Her moms carelessness for her manifested in a dream like that. It just shows how deep her scar is . She was abandoned by her mother when she needed her the most so her mind in her dream even goes as far as to show that her mom sold her

Agree. Their parents have played a huge role for both the siblings love stories

What you said is on point. I understand why he is doing what he is doing (else i would not be able to love the show the way i am able to . For ex: i could not handle the simp ML in lovely runner where it was pathetic IMO and I could not handle it in lovely runner) . I just wish we got more interaction of him with others and what his life has been like. we get some glimpses but not in details like WFY or even her friends or his friends are getting. May be we will get in future episodes. Anyways love this healthy discussions. it helps bring out the things which we missed :)

Ya she listened whatever WFY had to share. I think all these years she knew WFY is not in a place to share her misery but she knows well that WFY needs someone so she always tries to be there. It is so sweet of her to be on call during new year even when she is busy celebrating with her family

Yes said the same in another thread Sang Yan can afford to give that all to WFY which she needs from him to heal (he can afford all that becuse of support system of his family etc) but at the same time all they show is him just appearing and staring at phone while side eyeing her. They could show how he manages the bar or what was his other job. I get that story is mostly from WFY perspective but we do get to see her friend's story the same way I wanted to see Sang Yan's life outside WFY. Even in the scenes where he appeared without WFY it is mostly doing something for her . Even scene with his sister is about her asking about his job. It is not ruining my viewing experience ( I am still loving the show and BJT as Sang Yan) but I want to see more of his shades not just living for WFY.

I wish they show (or showed by now )that instead of showing Sang Yan just there for WYF all the time .

Agree, as much as I am loving the show with how they show characters around WYF (be it supporting collegaues, her awful family , her sweet friends etc) one character they show as always having only one goal is Sang Yan. I hope we get to seem more of his shades and layers in coming episodes. While everyone is going gaga for SY being a green flag, I am one of those that is not a fan of the MLs who are simps having no other job. It tires me out at one point. I know she needs someone who can give her all to get her out of the wall she has built around herself but that does not mean the guy has to be shown as not having anything else to do.

Actually her friend tries as well ( the new year scene where she is always on call with Yifan even when she is with her family shows that) but she seems to have her own problems hassling between her work etc. and Yi Fan need someone who can give their all to break that wall which Sang yan can afford and has the love and willingness to do.

I love his character in the Reset . he was a self centered character initially not bad per se but just minding his own business but learns from the FL what it means to think about others. Same with New Life Begins (although i did not like what it ended up beginning ) his characters has some layers.
TBH i want to see more of that layer than just being a hopeless lover boy as the show progresses.
