Yi fan was such a baby when Sang Yan told her that she kissed him. She is such a cutie . She was so stressed out about it . Seriously trying to understand how she could do that . I would be pissed off with Sang Yan if he had not done so much for her and genuinely cares for her for this stunt

Yi fan is so cute and has much more depth than the over the top bubbly FLs who keep doing silly things actually

8 episodes in and I am loving the way they are building up the relationship between the characters. Even her friend is not just there for the sake of it. She also helps her in so many subtle ways. Be it doing the call with her throuhout the new years dinner to not leave her alone, or the two understanding colleagues, her new boss in her office. They are showing every aspect all the while showing the interaction between main leads and what they meant for each other.

I love the contrast they showed between San Yan's supportive parents vs how Wen Yifan's uncle was thrashing her. He did not hesitate to tell the truth a and his mother's only suggestion was to wait till the university even if he likes her. I can vouch how much having a supportive parents help in our teenage years to shape us in so many ways (ofcourse, there is a fine line as well here. Kids can ruin their lives if they are pampered to no end as well). I can see why Sang Zhi and Sang Yan turned out to be the anchors to Duan Jiaxu and Wen YIfan respectively. Its nice to see that touch in both TFF and HL

I felt the same. I am not downplaying the issues women face in workplaces but for her to go through so many times is too much !

Oh I did not know that it became that ridiculous in the last two episodes . I dropped after episode 10. I found the story going downhill after 6 itself specially her getting kidnapped in the temple was. So easy . I felt both of them had lost brain by then o r more like writers had lost brain by then !

i loved him in The King Eternal Monarch. He acted befiting the modern king very well. Apart from that even I liked only Pachinko but i can totally get the craze he must have had during BOF and the heirs era and the Hallyu wave he helped create overseas during the late 2000s!

Yes i blame editing and also maybe screenplay for the choppy disconnected feel to the show from the first episode. There were too many repeated frames as well!

Yes some small cameos when characters are established fully is fine . Here it is like put focus on these instead of some good character development of any of the main characters! At this point we hardly no background of Eve except that she is with someone and not that emotionally attached most likely and that she is here for some experiment. What about her family etc. May be next few episodes they will explore that but still it was better to focus on her .

Yes! padding is the word. Could be editing as well which means director is not clear what he wants leading to poor post prod editing

After watching two episodes I guess why most of us having mixed feelings is mainly because of the screenplay. Casts, direction, CGI, humour everything is good but what i felt lacking is screenplay. There are a lot of incoherences between scenes.
For ex: the scenes where all were celebrating after the successful surgery in the space there were same exact response by the characters that were repeated many times. Its like you turn and smile and the same action getting repeated again instead of continuing the scene after that.
I felt that even be it swimming pool scene though hilarious need not be that long . I laughed first then fast forwarded bcs it did not seem to end.
Then the random cartoonish lego type thing that came up showing all the 6 people's resting place i suppose. That popped up out of nowhere when Gong Ryong was giving icecreams and then it goes back to him still holding icecreams. instead if this was popped right before everyone goes to sleep or somethign made more sense to me. (I am open to correcton if this is just my problem)
All this leads to slight disinterest in the whole flow without us realising.
As to romantic part its not a typical KDrama romance which depends on people's taste i suppose.
Just my perspective. Still not a bad start for a drama i would say

First of all you come to my review and give lecture how I dont understand anything and then also rant that I actually gave a review. I see in another review you were upset that the person did not explain why the show was bad and now that I have explained you have a problem that I did!!. anyways as someone in the other thread said since you are obsessed about lecturing everyone that this show is so good , there will be more negative reviews that will be coming. You can go and rant your so called non existent depth of the show there. Save your energy because there will be more coming. Okay this is actually my last response. There is no point in responding to a person who from the get go instead of trying to have a healthy discussion just lectures on how bad my understanding of world is. Anyways Peace! I solely blame on the plot that lead to lack of feelings for the characters. So i am not backtracking anything. I did not even read fully your long message. This is the last response from me. Why bother with my review if you have so much problem with it. Just enjoy the show no? Why are you bothering to force what you feel on me. I will never agree in what you say and you will not agree to mine. We can simply agree to disagree. As simple as that.
I have the right to give my review and i gave my thoughts. If you dont know, the point of review is give out your thoughts for people who are interested to read and form their own opinion. We can give reviews for shows which we like and for shows we dont like. If the point of reviews was only to give for the shows we liked, all shows would be ranked 10! This is an ok enjoyable one time see drama not more than that . Thats it!

I think you did not understand when i meant i did not feel anything when ML cried. It is because the plot made me lose interest so i did not care after a while.
At the end it is overall I found it an average drama which is enjoyable at one go but not a memorable one. There is no such "rigid" , "misguided" or any such terms whatsoever stopping me from enjoying it. I did not enjoy because it lacked clear consistent plot and had plot holes and a lot of typical cliche scenes.
Anyways this long response of yours just shows you are very emotionally attached to the show. You do you. Just Enjoy the show. I have expressed my thoughts in the platform where everyone can express their thoughts . No need to put so much analysis on my mere drama review and waste your precious time lol .

Got interested in K drama after long despite it having a lot of typical K Drama cliche scenes but it still works somehow. There are lot of unrealistic things as well. How come HuiJoo and BSK stayed in same house for 3 years and still the world did not come to know. BSK challenges media people to investigate on him. First thing anyone would do is keep someone near his home to see who enters and exits . He even need not challenge. Any media wanting some spicy scoop would have easily found out long back no?

First thing that really put me off is knowing that he already loved . How, why and when. Just because of her running in the rain smiling ?? Villian and the police department were ultimate jokes in the name of the plot .

Exactly the relationship is so surface level. Even the friendshop with 2nd ML. All of a sudden they are buddies travelling to a coastal place. Everything is out of nowhere!
