i said i will not come here bcs its filled idol fans who cant handle honest take on the show but was curious if there were more people having same thoughts as mine. I too found WIFY way better with all characters having that development and are not outright caricature.
PS : i paid for this show and had high expectations (and watched WIFTY for free) so i have every right to criticize

Also FL is supposed to be good at taekwando which is never ever mentioned again. ML has to rescue her when she is stuck with a guy! In WIFTY FL is not bad. She is good in languages and he is good (or worked hard to be good) so i find it balancing although FL good at arts and ML good at sciences is again pretty typical in cdramas which needs to change

Hmm could be but not sure . Most of the youth shows i watched show FL as a "bad student" actually. ML will be smart and FL will be a clueless not good at studies so "bad student" according to them. So not sure again.

fair enough. good to know. I am answering to comments who are bitter for not liking the drama bcs i of the reasons i mentioned many times. You like it and you mentioned it civilly i am fine with it. Its constructive debate but when it becomes bitter like comments above i am sure they are here for their idol not to enjoy a show for what it is.
Also who are WE here. i am speaking for myself that i need some character arc while watching romance. I am sure lot of other ppl like me do too

DISAGREE . Romance also needs good story . Not just chemistry and kisses. It needs character arcs and development and only then it stays with you. not characters who are caricatures or outright stupid. most of side characters here are outright annoying and stupid . i can give whole essay on why i didnt like but whats the point . you enjoyed it so you enjoy but i didnt like it and so did the person who commented above and i replied to that. Also I have list of youth dramas which is just romance but it has something offer. Anyway as i said its my preference which i replied to a person who also didnt like so yeah enjoy

I guess it makes sense since they are legally not adults but i am guessing they would have filmed friendship in high school and dating in college days considering industry people knows abt censorship. None of the youth dramas show dating in highschool so i am guessing its a given .

They need not show dating they can show how their friendship bloomed first . I am guessing the filming also focused on that during high school and dating during college days. The fact that we are still wondering about this shows that they didnt do a good job on giving us good backstory!

Its ok chill chill. Dont come at me for giving a constructive criticism and having my own thoughts and agreeing to like minded people. How much ever you try to prove doesnt change the fact that this show doesnt offer much. I know you love your idol so you do enjoy & chill.

oh is it! but even if they release now i would still feel more robbed bcs those should have been there in initial episodes then we would feel more connected to their love story specially FL perspective. To be honest FL perspective is binary in this drama. Sometime she seems to be yearning sometime not at all its a little disconnected which leads to the drama not being consistent! Screenplay is very off in many episodes.

IKR! Instead of episodes where they go back and forth with random misplaced jealousy they could have shown those flashbacks which would give us more connection to their love story.

Finished watching all episodes and overall good drama but could have been a great drama but i think screenplay and directing messed up . Their childhood flashback was useless with no proper relationship building shown , just random eating icecreams shots . Instead if they had shown how FL a& ML really get close with ML breaking her wall would have been better ( Also what’s with hideous wig of FL. Can’t high school girl have long hair in China !!) I would want that then some filler epi in between . Anyways overall a good drama but felt short of being a great drama IMHO

Agree. i watched till the end (fast forwarding more and more in later episodes ) and it has nothing new to offer. Even with similar plot lines lot of shows like WIFTY , flourish in time has something to offer here there is absolutely nothing with 0 character arcs and most silliest of characters coming in and going with no logic

oh if you chose to watch please chose WIFTY. I just finished watching this. In WIFTY i found first 2 or so episodes dragging i had to sit through but then i got so involved in all of the characters journey. Its so delightful to watch every characters story. This drama is exactly reverse. First 2 or so episodes is interesting and then becomes a train wreck with none of the characters holding interest.
Also recommend you watch both Hidden Love and WIFTY. Good cdramas this year by far.

No where close. WIFTY had better characters. More realistic and lovable characters. Here its outright trainwreck right from the leads. Sorry it might seem harsh but if we come to comparison thats the only word i can use
