I just rewatched ep 7 and 8 and cried all over again. Sometimes I wonder why i do this to myself...it's like i'm asking to be in pain T____T

Okay... How pathetic must your life be that you feel the need to come here and camp, as well as go into each individual episode just to rate them a 1? If you don't like the show, that's completely fine, but rating all 40 episodes a 1 when only 8 out of 40 have aired?

Agree! Episode 7 was so emotional - jealously, distrust, hatred, confusion, regret, sadness where all showcased so well in his expressions. He has really good eye-play.

I'm not sure why you're bringing up the double here, I like the double too, probably one of my top three favorite drama from last year, but what does it have to do with this drama? They're different genre and none of the characters even remotely resemble each other so bringing it for comparison here is insanity.

Also from your bleak description I can tell you didn't watch it fully and probably just skimmed it, and if you didn't then you completely lost the point.
She was forced. I mean, how do you expect her to make a choice between being his disciple or saving her friends? There wasnt a third option. She didn't lost her memory, she was reincarnated as a new person with new experiences and upbringings, big difference.

You seem to be bringing up the double a lot from your replies, so i think you should just rewatch that or go watch something else of similar genre that makes you happy :)))

It's not you!! Most of the reviews so far have been very positive (even from C-netz, and we know how vocal they can be). Before the drama aired, many people had low expectations. Being an A-level production with a relatively new cast—and a xianxia genre at that—many assumed it would flop. However, it's proving itself and standing strong. Definitely a dark horse!

Also TIA voice is soooooo good. I swear i replayed that opening song like 100 times on my phone at this point.

I saw that too, I think they cut it out....which is unfortunately cause I also want to see that!

You can tell how much diamonds love him! The amount of time, energy, and money they put into helping promote this drama is amazing. I'm genuinely touched T___T.
Whereas the platform and production crew......barely did any promotional work, if not at all. I think they're just relying on dengwei and the drama itself to carry its own, which would be fine, but they need to understand this is an A production drama and even though dengwei is popular he's still new to the industry so they need to also put in some efffort to help promote to get passerby to watch. Anyways, just a rant on my end since the fans are putting in way more effort and money to promote than a whole company and production team. Hopefully we get at least a variety show, conference, etc.

Very good! Initially I thought it would be a very cliche xianxia story - but we've only gotten to episode 8 and SOOO much had happened and so far, my emotions have been all over the place. Definitely a recommend
