I also really like MQG but I'm actually also very fond of XRR's character. While she isn't strong and lacks experience, she's still extremely wise. We've seen her demonstrate this several times. Of course, you can't compare this to MQG, but again, she's young and has been pretty sheltered all her life. XRR is also very carefree—she still likes to eat and drink, and as she once stated, she doesn't want to pursue immortality or become a celestial because she appreciates the liveliness and experiences of the mortal world. Isn't that exactly what MQG said?

I also find XRR very cute and lively, though I really like MQG's sexiness and confident aura as well. I think it's a nice change, and it gives a lot of room for her character development. Because, let's be honest, an amazing character like MQG is unlikely to undergo significant character development, but XRR has a lot of potential for growth.

I thought it was weird that the fake MQG requested to be SYS disciple. Like, wouldn't the others find it odd? She's his master, why would she want to be his disciple? Now that she's actually pretending the be MQG, I'm actually looking forward to how that's going to play out with the SL. From the preview it looks like she slept with him....so if he finds out, oh boy

I actually love SYS bad/evil side. I know in a lot of dramas, when they try to make the ML character morally grey, it never really fully comes off that way....Like they turn from being "evil" -> "good" too quickly and kinda loses that bad guy charm. But with SYS, I don't feel that way at all. If he doesn't like you or you get in his way, he kills you regardless if you're a good or bad guy. I think even the villians are scared of how villian he is hahah

I think from what I've seen on weibo recently, it's actually just an A production, which makes it more impressive for the level we're seeing!

Well, most of it were actually about the drama and nothing about the ratings were brought up but i think ppl only started commenting because within 2 hours, the rating went from 8.4->8. So all of a sudden an influx of 1 star reviews came out of nowhere and it was from ppl rating all future episodes 1 even though only 8 eps came out so far. But yeah, better to focus on drama and the reviews will balance out after the antis leave
