I know I shouldnt feel bad for the evil step-mother, if you can even call her that...But her oldest daughter died only a couple years ago, then now her only son died, and shortly after, her only daughter left betrayed her and is the reason for her getting executed. I mean, she has this coming, but dam lol.
Now I need an even worst ending for the dad

Wait im confused, why didnt FL get thrown into jail for "killing" the half- brother? I know as the audience we know he tripped, but they don't know that. They saw him died in front of her, with a needle wound, she's clearing holding the hair pin in a defense/attack position. She didnt also say anything to defend herself. Plus he's pointing at her, and yet the ML was able to carry her away, get "married" and go about their day and no one even bothered to try to get her thrown in jail ????

Based on the first trailer that came out i dont think the SFL love interest is deng wei, i think it's one of the other supporting actors

That is to say, I think the strategy is working on me. I've been so tired of the different melons coming out and the scolding that deng wei is getting over the past week that at this point, I'm ok with whoever the fl is lolol. The comments have been so malicious lately I just need it to stop

I've come across several theories about why they’re doing this, but the one that makes the most sense to me is that by encouraging fans to speculate and argue over who the FL is, they’re intentionally dragging things out. So when she’s finally revealed, people will be too exhausted or just relieved to care—meaning she won’t face as much backlash. At that point, fans might just accept anyone to get it over with. Even if she’s someone the majority wouldn’t have supported initially, the fatigue might soften the reaction.

It also creates buzz—basically letting the drama market itself. (Though I personally think it’s a dumb move, since it risks turning people off entirely.) The strategy seems to be letting the ML take all the heat early on so the FL can avoid it. That’s why I’m really curious who she is—because the team is going above and beyond to shield her...

Deng wei team had to come out multiple times to 1. Tell people to not speculate, and 2. Refute rumours......Things that should've been the production crew or other people job tbh lol

im getting really annoyed with the production crew. It looks like the FL is already signed, but they're just not giving any hints to who it is so there's been a bunch of speculations on who the FL is, leading to the rumoured actresses fan base all coming to scold deng wei. As if he has anything to do with it

I'm on the middle of episode 13th. I had to take a pause when she said "i can't let her get executed with the entire zhuang family". From what I understand, think she has some suspicions about the dad/family being involved with her mom getting crippled or her mom was wronged, but at least up to ep 13, there hasnt really been any reveal of what her dad did/did not do, so i'm surprised that she doesn't show the same kind of care for him as the mother. But even before she had any suspicions about what happened to her mother, she also only seem to care about the mother. But i get what you're saying

I tried to put myself in her shoes and if I had the same experience she had, I would be more bias towards the dad so I had a hard time connecting with her lol

I understand that her mother has a reason and is doing all this to protect her, but what about her dad? No offense, i feel like she should love her dad more or at least show the same concern, even if her mother has a reason. At this point in time, we don't know if her dad is good/bad, but from where we are in the story, he's the only family member that treated her well. He made desserts for her and sent letters and money to her. He was the one who begged for her to stay even after her own mother wanted to kick her out of the house. He had always defended her for the most part. So far, the only one that seemed genuinely happy that she is back. Like I said, whether or not he is a good person we have yet to know, but at this point in the story he should be very important to her...yet It's weird to me that she acts like her dad isn't important, or at least, not as important compared to the mother. Especially when they're both in jail and going to be executed, all she seems to care about saving is the mom lol "I can't let my mother die", I was like...so you'll let your dad die? hmm

I can't understand why ZHY only seems to care/love her mother... "My home is where my motehr is", "If my mother die, what's the point in me living?" "Why does my mother deserve to die?" "I will save my mother". What about her dad?

I think yang chao yue is really cute and I like her in reality shows because she's very genuine and funny, but as an actress, I feel like she still has a long way to go. So I hope she's not the FL here, but we'll just have to wait for the official announcement.
