is the person voicing MQG actually the same one voicing SRR??? I swear sometimes she sounds like MQG and sometimes she sounds like SRR and it's messing with me. If it's voiced by the same person, they're very good wth
Also want to give a shoutout to our girl MQG. Girl solo'd a bigboss that's a celestial and has lived for hundred of years and still managed to sealed him and walked out of there alive.
Edit: On the same day, she always sealed the spirit spring. No wonder they needed to give her a de-buff. Otherwise, she's too OP and there would be no character development since she's already a beast - in mind, spirit, and body T_T

Yeah this is one of the rare times where I feel like an amnesia arc actually made sense and help progress the story and has a purpose. Normally it feels like a weird insert to add drama / lazy writing but when you think about it, its actually beautifully written.
i really like the amnesia plot and I couldnt exactly pin point why i liked it so much until I saw this one weibo post and I'll just share it here since it pretty much explained how i felt:

When SYS met SRR, he was already in love with her. She never had to work that hard to win over his heart because he knew she was MQG, she just hasnt gotten her memories back. She fell in love with the kind and gentle him, the one that was always secretly protecting her. Therefore she never really got to know him fully, for instance the part where he doesn't like spicy food. He catered to her wants and needs and spoiled her. In the same sense, it also proves that SYS didn't fall in love wtih SRR again because she's MQG. He was destined to love her no matter what. This arc kind of makes it even. These lost souls both lost their memories and yet they still fell in love with each other. Once the two of them get their memories back, it'll just be a complete version of them.
To add to this, SYS is hilarious hahahhaa the last two episodes i couldnt keep my smile from going down

Ahh the lantern scene made me cry T____T MQG and SYS's feelings were mutual but she never got to express her love for him and he spent 19+ years not knowing that she loved him and drowned in self misery and regrets. It's almost as if a rock as lifted from his heart. The love he yearned for was always there, and even though SRR doesnt have all of MQG's memories yet, she's still the same person he loves. AHH this story is so beautiful.
I usually hate amnesia arc, but looking the spoiler clips, it's hilarious lololol And it doesnt seem to last more than 2-3 eps by the look of it so that's also nice. It's a nice funny non serious arc before we get to the angsty parts
