yeah, one of the best written xiaxia character development. Instead of starting off strong like how we were introduced to MQG, ran ran started as like the younger version of MQG. Now that ran ran has more experience, her mannerism and tone is also approaching MQG even without the memory. That's brilliant imo. it's as if we got to see how MQG got to where she was

An 8k-9kheat index iqiyi is comparable to youku's 10k.
That being said, 8k means the drama is airing well , not great, but good. 9k means it's doing really well, but not explosive. Not a lot drama can reach 10k in iqiyi unless that drama really exploded and it's consider a very successful drama.
Love of the divine tree only has avg 8k which is really underrated imo. Not many people still know about it unfortunately. However, words of mouth is really good because unlike a lot of dramas that started high and slowly go down, the index is rising, just vert slowly

I think dengwei looks better the simpler the outfit. He has such a majestic face that I feel like simple outfits just showcase his face best hahaha. His outfit in today episode (24) looks really good

Also....I can definitely tell this is the screen writher of Mysterious Lotus Casebook. There's definitely a lot of mystery/crime solving as well as palace scheme/drama. It's literally a very unconventional xianxia and i'm loving it

all the siblings in this show are....evil lolol Can't believe that ungrateful brat poisened his brother!! I don't really care much about SY but still! SY was at least a good brother to him

they changed it yesterday. The official chinese iqiyi has the change, but I'm not sure if this change applies to other platforms though. Kisskh still has the original layout. All they did was moved ep 3-8 to be 1-6 and ep 1-2 to be ep 7-8. I just rewatched it with this rythm and I like that they made this change. It made the whole "Let me make my master master" part a lot more funny with some actual context. In ep 1-2 before this change.

I just rewatched it again from ep 1 because i heard they cut to re-order it and I gotta say it is so much smoother! I mean, i already thought it was good regardless but re-watching with the new re-ordering made everything a lot smoother!!!!!

This is totally a guess but from watching a lot of cdramas over the years - I find that these spoiler clips that gets leaked is kinda like a promotion tactic. They do this with every airing drama so not just for this drama. What I think happen is that someone behind the scene either gives/sell these clips to ppl and they leak them. It's kinda like a way to get the audience hyped or interested in what to come. I don't mind spoilers so I enjoy watching them.

I was watching MLC while it was airing and something I found similar with the two drama is that both drama spends a lot of time developing the story and side characters and having the leads go kinda on an adventure and basically gathering clues along the way. It's a similar structure here. I trust the screen writer and director enough to believe that once everything is set, the story pace will pick up
