The story picks up right where Season 2 left off, plunging us straight into the chaos of a failed rebellion, betrayal, and loss. The pacing is relentless, the tension never lets up, and yet it still finds space to explore the emotional aftermath of everything Gi Hun has endured.

Lee Jung Jae delivers his most powerful performance yet. Watching Gi Hun hit rock bottom, only to be forced back into the nightmare of the Games, was heartbreaking and raw. Each game this season felt even more brutal—not just physically, but psychologically. The moral dilemmas hit hard, and the consequences of each choice left me shaken.

The return of the Frontman (In Ho) added a chilling, calculated energy to the season, and the dynamic with his brother Jun Ho raised the stakes even further. Their storyline had me on edge the whole time, especially with the ever-present question of who can really be trusted. The reveal of the traitor? Absolutely jaw-dropping.

The writing was tight, the twists hit hard, and the ending? Bittersweet perfection. It was a grim yet fitting close to a series that never shied away from exposing the darkest corners of human nature.

If you’ve followed Squid Game from the beginning, Season 3 is the brutal, emotional payoff you’ve been waiting for. A masterclass in storytelling that left me breathless.

Messy plot, but MaxNat chemistry saves the day

As a longtime MaxNat fan (Cutie Pie, Two Worlds, and currently Suntiny), I had high expectations—and in terms of chemistry, they didn’t disappoint 💯 These two have incredible screen presence together, and their romantic scenes (especially the kiss and NC ones) were intense, emotional, and beautifully shot 😍🔥

Visually, Naughty Babe is stunning. The cinematography, locations, and styling all give the series a polished, high-quality feel 🎥🌄 It’s a feast for the eyes in every way.

But... the plot is where things fall short 😕 The storyline is quite messy—between the business-arranged marriage, Switzerland escape, and amnesia twist, it just felt like too much without enough depth or consistency. I found myself enjoying the moments more than the actual story.

The frustrating part is that Max and Nat have the acting chops to deliver a great emotional drama, but the writing just didn’t live up to their potential. It had the ingredients to be something amazing, but ended up feeling like a collection of nice scenes rather than a strong, cohesive series.

Still, for fans of the couple or anyone looking for a visually beautiful, romance-heavy BL with steamy moments and great actors, it’s worth the watch. Just don’t expect a tightly written plot 🫠

I watched all 4 episodes (about 20 minutes each) in one go, and unfortunately, I was bored from start to finish 😴. The plot felt empty, and the leads had no chemistry at all — nothing pulled me in.

Visually, it didn’t help either — the kiss scene by the fire pit was so dark I could barely see anything 🔥🌑. Both kiss scenes lacked emotion and impact, which made things feel even flatter.

I’m glad I finished it, but this is one of those BLs I’ll never rewatch or even remember in a few weeks. Just not for me.

I’ve watched over 250+ BLs, but Happy to End is definitely one of the hardest to get through. 😔 This show is not for the faint-hearted. Be prepared for some heavy, triggering content. ⚠️ It includes child rape, abuse, alcoholism, prostitute parents, abandonment, suicide, and much more. I was deeply traumatized after finishing it. 💔

No child should ever have to go through what the characters in this show did. It’s honestly one of the worst childhoods you could imagine. 😢

That being said, I still rated it 8/10. Both of the lead actors did an amazing job, and their chemistry was undeniable. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 The performances really carried the show, and despite the dark themes, I found myself invested in their characters. 🎬

Final Thoughts:
This series is powerful, but it’s not an easy watch. Be warned before you in. ⚠️ The emotional toll is real, but the acting and depth of the story left a lasting impact.

This series pulls you right into an emotional rollercoaster between two timelines, two Krams, and one unforgettable love. The premise is wild—in one world, Phupha is gone and Kram mourns deeply. Suddenly, he’s thrown into a parallel universe where another Kram had once loved Thai, only to die at the hands of Thai's own father. 😭💔

When Thai sees “Kram” again on that road, the shock, confusion, and heartbreak in his eyes were everything. The tension, longing, and mystery had me on edge every episode. Thai and Kram's chemistry is 🔥 and the emotions are so raw and layered.

✨ I loved seeing Gun (from Unforgotten Night) finally take the spotlight as Phupha—so manly, handsome, and just giving daddy vibes all the way 😍. Mas and Nat are fantastic as Thai and Kram—great casting, emotional depth, and strong screen presence. Also, it was my first time watching Pak and Mon as the second couple and their chemistry is insane! 🫠💘

💋 All the NC/loving scenes were beautifully shot—so passionate yet intimate. And the forest and water scenes were stunning. I love how it’s set away from the busy city—very atmospheric and dreamlike.

🌀 The only reason I didn’t give it a 10/10 is because the two parallel worlds were a bit confusing at times. I might need to rewatch certain parts to fully understand the plot. But overall, I really enjoyed this BL. Deep, mysterious, and full of raw emotion.

Disappointing Follow-Up: Lovely Writer Special Episode Lacks the Heart of the Main Series

I loved the main series of Lovely Writer, but unfortunately, the 105-minute special episode didn’t quite live up to my expectations. 😕

After two years, I was hoping to see a deeper, stronger bond between Gene and Nubsib, but instead, it felt like their relationship hadn't progressed much at all. In fact, the plot seemed a bit off, and I found myself confused for most of the episode. There were too many extra characters added, and none of them really contributed anything meaningful to the story. I honestly just wanted the special to focus on Gene and Nubsib and their relationship without all the distractions. 😔

This is the first time I’ve ever felt disappointed by a special episode after a main series. I really think it would’ve been better if they just ended things with the main series, as the special didn’t add much to the story or their development.

That being said, I did love the moment when Gene gave Nubsib the bracelet from his dad—it was a beautiful gesture that showed just how committed he was. That moment alone was the highlight of the special for me. 💖

Overall, it’s an 8/10 for me. Not terrible, but definitely not as strong as the main series.

I honestly don’t even know what kept me watching Unforgotten Night—the plot isn’t revolutionary, the characters make questionable decisions, and some moments are borderline absurd. Yet, despite all that, I couldn’t stop. I ended up binge-watching all 12 episodes in just two sittings. There’s something about it that pulls you in, even when you know it’s a bit of a mess.

The show follows Kim, a 25-year-old office worker, who's been secretly in love with his senior, Day, for a long time. To get over him, he decides to have a one-night stand with a random stranger he meets at a bar. Enter Kamol, a 30-year-old mafia boss with some very special needs in the bedroom. He’s been hopping from one partner to the next, looking for someone who can truly satisfy him. And Kim? Well, he’s exactly what Kamol’s been searching for. Once Kamol lays eyes on him, he’s determined to make Kim his own, and thus begins their messy, intense journey.

What really kept me hooked was Kamol’s insane dedication to Kim. Kim plays hard to get, he’s stubborn and sassy as hell, but Kamol keeps coming back for more. Every episode, Kamol does whatever it takes to win Kim’s heart, and honestly? It was addicting to watch. Kamol’s persistence, despite the many walls Kim throws up, is what made me keep watching. It’s a slow burn, but when it finally heats up, it’s worth it.

As for Kim—he’s a total mood. His sharp tongue, sassy comebacks, and general "I’m not impressed by anything" attitude made him such a fun character. He’s tough to crack, and that’s exactly what makes his dynamic with Kamol so interesting. The way he stays one step ahead, constantly throwing out “already ready” responses, made me laugh more than I expected.

But it’s not just the leads that make this show enjoyable. The side characters brought so much to the table. Day and Itt’s height difference and their playful interactions were adorable, and Ruj, Krit, and Lop? They were the comic relief I didn’t know I needed. Honestly, their shower scene was one of my favorites—it was so hot and steamy, and the chemistry between the three of them was undeniable. I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing more of this threesome bodyguard trio! They added so much fun and heat to the show, and their moments together were always a highlight for me.

I also loved Baiboon’s pure innocence and cuteness. His moments with Kim and Kamol brought some much-needed lightness to the show. And then there’s Kom—his loyalty to Kamol and his care for Baiboon made him such a solid character. It’s nice to see loyalty like that in the mafia world, where trust is hard to come by.

Another part of the show I appreciated was the unwavering support Kim got from his friends, May and Jin. No matter how messy his life got, they were always there for him. Their care and love for him felt so real. And Kamol’s journey from being an orphan to finding a sense of family with Kim’s parents was beautiful. Kim’s parents were just so lovely and understanding. They accepted Kim and Kamol’s relationship with open arms, and seeing Kamol, who grew up as an orphan, finally able to call them his own was such a heartwarming moment. It added so much emotional depth to Kamol’s character arc, and I really felt for him in those moments.

There’s also Danil, whose obsession with Kamol is both creepy and fascinating. His fixation added a certain edge to the show, and it was fun to see how far he’d go to get Kamol’s attention.

Now, I totally agree with what a lot of others are saying about this show—it’s so bad, it becomes good. The plot is all over the place, the music often doesn’t match the scene, and honestly, some moments felt like they were just cut and pasted together without any real flow. The mafia boss and his four bodyguards literally kill everyone in their path with zero consequences, which is both ridiculous and strangely entertaining. Unforgotten Night is a hot mess—it's bad, funny, and silly all at the same time, which, somehow, makes it even more addictive. The flaws make it so much fun to watch because you just can’t look away. It’s so over-the-top, but that’s what keeps you coming back for more.

Sure, the show has its melodramatic moments, and the writing can get a little on the nose at times, but I couldn’t help getting wrapped up in the messy drama. Kamol and Kim’s relationship goes through so many twists and turns that you can’t help but root for them, even when it all feels a bit too much.

It’s not a perfect show, but I can’t help but love how it made me feel. The ending left me wanting more, and now, even days after finishing, I’m still thinking about it. Unforgotten Night isn’t flawless, but it’s definitely a wild, messy ride you won’t be able to stop watching once you’re in.

What a beautiful and heartfelt way to wrap up the series! 😭💖 After working hard at work planning weddings for others, Nuea finally gets his own surprise wedding — and it couldn’t have been more perfect 💫

What really stood out was the traditional Thai ceremony held in remote Chiang Mai, rather than the usual Western-style setup. It was deeply cultural, intimate, and so visually beautiful 🌿🌸 Watching Lom and Nuea tie the knot in such a meaningful setting made my heart burst with joy 🥹💕

The atmosphere, the soft music, the emotions — everything about this special episode was so romantic and sweet. It truly felt like the happy ending they both deserved 🫶✨

Seeing Nuea so surprised and emotional, and Lom proudly standing by his side in traditional attire, just sealed the deal for me 💍😍 It was simple but so full of love. I'm so glad they gave us this extra chapter to end things on such a high note.

? A Love That Defied Death – Haunting, Beautiful, and Unforgettable

Eternal Yesterday (Eien no Kino) is one of those dramas that only Japan could come up with—where else would you get a love story involving a literal living corpse? And yet, despite the strange and surreal premise, it works so beautifully. It’s poetic, heart-wrenching, and unforgettable.

From the very beginning, it’s clear this is a story about love at first sight—on both sides. The connection between Koichi and Mitsuru (Micchan) is instant and intense, and the drama does a beautiful job exploring the depth of their bond, even when death gets in the way.

I absolutely loved Koichi. He was so protective of Mitsuru from the start—whether it was standing up to bullies in the classroom or always walking on the traffic side of the road to shield him. Ironically, that very habit led to the truck accident that took his life. Speaking of the truck—honestly, the driver should have been fined or jailed. He was clearly speeding and caused Koichi’s death. But even after being hit, Koichi got up and his first thought was still Micchan. That says everything about the kind of person he is—selfless and full of love. Even in their final moments together, he was still thinking about Micchan’s future, saying he couldn’t leave his “corpse” behind because it wouldn’t look good for Micchan. It broke me. He was always putting Micchan first.

And then there was that final scene. The crying, the love-making, the constant exchange of “I love you”s—God, it was so emotional. Koichi knew he was disappearing soon, and his tears showed just how much he didn’t want to leave. Meanwhile, Micchan tried so hard to comfort him, saying things like “You are the one I love the most,” “I will never forget you,” and “You’ll always be my number one until I die.” Those words hit so hard. It was painful to watch two people love each other so deeply and still have to say goodbye.

Overall, Eternal Yesterday is an incredible series—unusual, emotional, and deeply moving. The plot and chemistry are everything. My only wish is that Japan would invest a bit more in the production quality of their BL dramas. Compared to Korean or Thai BL, the visuals and cinematography here felt a little lacking—but the story and the emotional depth absolutely make up for it.

If you’re looking for a BL that’s raw, touching, and unique, this one is a must-watch.

Past 10 weeks, Mondays have been incredible because of Reset. Wow. This show kicks off with a bang and doesn’t let up for a second. Another time-travel BL — but this time, we’re going back into the past ⏳ — and it totally gave me My Stand-In vibes (in the best way)!

Pond as Armin 💙 truly shines here. I loved him in Fourever You, but this role suits him even better. His chemistry with Thada (Peterpan) 💛 is magnetic. No hate to Earth (I adore him 🥺), but Pond and Peterpan just click. 👏

All 10 episodes are over an hour long ⏱️, yet they fly by. Not a single dull moment — just pure emotion, mystery, and intensity 🎢🔥.

And let’s talk visuals — the 1999 setting is chef’s kiss 👏✨. From vintage cars 🚗 and old-school phones 📞 to the old houses and clothes 🏡, you can feel the production effort.

That line — “My life has been reset” 💔 — ties so beautifully into the title and theme. A perfect metaphor for love, second chances, and fate.

The romantic scenes are unforgettable:

The NC pool scene? Next level. The purple-pink lighting, the sensual music, and those four words — “I am yours, Tada” — right before that passionate kiss… pure electricity 💦💋.
Episode 6’s love scene was like poetry in motion: tender, aching, spellbinding.
Episode 9’s bathroom-to-sofa scene was soft yet intense, love unfolding in real time.
The shooting scene in Episode 8 was haunting and raw, and Peter caring for Pond in the hospital right after melted my heart. 💔
The finale with both of them crying in the hospital had me emotional all over again.
And can we talk about Veynai, the bodyguard? 🔥 He’s so hot and adorable. I really hope we see him in more series — he totally stole some scenes for me!

Once again, Peter and Pond were exceptional. Their chemistry is so natural, so magnetic — it didn’t feel like acting. It felt like truth.

I can’t believe it’s over. It feels like just yesterday I pressed play on Episode 1, wide-eyed and curious, not knowing I would fall this deep. Good things always seem to slip through our fingers too soon.

A Sweet and Heartwarming Korean BL That Feels Like a Warm Hug

Peach Trap is adorable, cute and wonderfully light. This series delivered everything I hoped for. It is sweet and beautifully shot. All four male leads are stunning and each brings a unique charm and warmth to the story. The music fits perfectly and creates that soft but exciting Korean BL atmosphere I love. The plot hooked me immediately and it even reminded me a little of Secret Relationships, my favourite Korean BL this year where three men fall for one person. But unlike that messy and toxic love triangle, Peach Trap feels pure and joyful with genuine affection and natural jealousy that never turns cruel.

Yoo Do Ha is the heart of the series. He is small, adorable and innocent, the kind of character who does not even realise how lovable he is. No wonder three gorgeous men are drawn to him. His team leader Jeon may appear cold and strict on the outside but he is the only one who believed in Do Ha when everyone else turned their backs after he was framed and fired. Yeon Ha Ram, the aloof café worker, treats most customers with distance but softens instantly around Do Ha with free drinks and quiet smiles. Then there is Taek Gyeon, the protective childhood friend, a taekwondo instructor with a sculpted body and a loyal heart.

Watching these three men orbit around Do Ha is delightful. Their jealousy is playful rather than toxic which makes the love square feel chaotic in the best way. The series balances humour, emotion and romantic tension without ever crossing into abusive or possessive territory. It feels safe, comforting and thrilling all at once.

Peach Trap is a refreshing addition to this year’s Korean BL lineup, a soft and heartwarming escape from the darker and heavier stories we have seen recently. It is funny to see it rated R18 plus on iQIYI because it feels more like a cozy romance than anything scandalous.

A lovely 9.5 out of 10 for a sweet, non toxic and beautifully filmed romantic comedy that captures the magic of modern BL storytelling.

A Fun and Unique Twist in Fourever You

After watching Hill and Ter, Johan and North from season 1, and recently Tonfah and Phoon from season 2, the second couple of season 2, Arthit and Dao, already feel very different from the others.

Arthit chaotic, and has such a funny personality. He always feels like the highlight of the group and brings a lot of energy to every scene. On the other hand, Dao is quiet and gentle, but he has the unusual ability to see and speak with spirits. This immediately makes their story stand out because after more than 24 episodes in this universe, this is the first time we get a supernatural element with ghosts and spirits.

Their dynamic already feels interesting because they are such opposites. Arthit is loud, bold, and playful, while Dao is calm and mysterious. Opposites really do attract here, and I am very curious to see how Dao slowly starts to fall for Arthit.
The story still keeps the familiar university setting that fans love, but the supernatural twist makes it feel fresh and different.

After Episodes 1 and 2, and my heart is so full right now 🥹💖. The way these two communicate is everything, honest, sweet, and straight to the point. There’s no drama or unnecessary games, just pure connection. The pacing of the first two episodes is fast, but it’s got me hooked; I love how quickly things develop. The chemistry between the two leads is off the charts, like, it’s almost too perfect to handle! Both actors are drop-dead gorgeous and ridiculously cute, making every scene a joy to watch 🥰.

I also really appreciated Episode 9, where we finally see them move in together as a couple. It’s so heartwarming, especially because the dynamic feels so real. You know the kind, one is neat, the other’s messy, and it’s just a perfect example of opposites attracting. The small arguments they have are realistic too, but what stands out the most is how they deal with things. They apologize and work through everything with raw, honest communication. It’s real life in its truest form, and I couldn’t love it more.

Kanade Shinichiro’s family situation was also something that hit me hard. His reluctance to go home because of his father’s expectations feels so relatable, especially in Asian cultures where family honor, expectations, and shame often loom over every decision. He’s terrified of being rejected for being gay, even though society has shifted. This is so much more than just a coming-out story, it’s about the emotional toll of living under the weight of generational pressures and fear. The way this was portrayed was poignant and made me reflect on how deep those family dynamics can run.

Episode 11 was a standout, where the whole family dynamic was brought to the forefront. Kanade's mom and sister offering their unwavering support was deeply moving, it's a reminder that sometimes, the people we fear rejecting us the most can end up being our greatest allies. It’s a beautiful portrayal of hope and acceptance, especially in cultures where the fear of disappointing loved ones can be overwhelming. The scene with Kanade and his father walking and talking together was so emotional—it felt like a real breakthrough.

What I Dislike & Room for Improvement
I absolutely loved Episode 6, honestly, the jealousy moments were peak cuteness 💕. But Japan… it’s 2025, and we need to talk about that kiss. It was, like, 0.5 seconds. A blink. A peck. A goldfish kiss lasts longer. 😅 Please, Japan, we need a real kiss! I’m all for teasing, but by this point, these two have known each other for years, their love is deep, and when the moment finally comes, it’s a total letdown. I was expecting passion, fire, but it felt so restrained, almost hesitant. For a couple that’s been through so much, this was the moment we’d been waiting for, and it just… fizzled.

The lack of emotional payoff here was frustrating. I get that there’s a fine line between restraint and giving fans what they want, but after eight episodes of building tension, this was a huge missed opportunity. The chemistry was there, and we’ve seen them grow into their love—so why hold back on the most important moment in their relationship? I’d rather have no kiss at all than a scene that feels half hearted and rushed.
