My favourite couple from My School President, Fourth and Gemini, are back, and they have never been better. On top of that, Bright, who became one of my favourite actors after I Feel You Linger in the Air, recently joined GMMTV and is as stunning as ever.

I went into this series with very few expectations. I am not particularly interested in God, religion, or stories centered around faith, but this show completely caught me off guard. It feels refreshingly different from the standard high school or university BL. The setting of a boys' boarding school creates a unique atmosphere where students pray, attend classes, play sports, and carry out daily chores, making the world feel grounded and believable.

What impressed me most is how mature the production feels. The directing, cinematography, and pacing are far more restrained than what I usually expect from a GMMTV series. Everything feels deliberate, from the quiet character moments to the romantic scenes. Nothing feels rushed or forced.

Fourth and Gemini have improved tremendously as actors since My School President. Their chemistry feels natural, nuanced, and emotionally convincing. They bring a level of depth to their characters that makes every interaction feel meaningful.

The series also handles its religious themes surprisingly well. You do not need to be religious to connect with the story. At its core, it explores faith, duty, guilt, identity, and personal desire in a way that feels universal and relatable.

Episode 3 delivered one of the strongest moments of the series so far. The emotional payoff felt completely earned after several episodes of careful buildup, proving that the show trusts its audience and its characters rather than relying on cheap fan service.

My only real complaint is the episode count. With only six episodes, we are already halfway through the story just as it feels like things are reaching their emotional peak. The tight pacing is great because there is very little filler, but it also means the series will be over far too soon.

So far, this has been one of the biggest surprises of the year for me. Even if religious themes are not normally your thing, the strong performances, beautiful cinematography, emotional storytelling, and unique setting make it well worth watching.

Binged I Became the Main Role of a BL Drama in one sitting before Season 2 drops — only 3 eps, under 3 hours, super easy to get through. The leads? Stunning 😍 with great chemistry 🔥 (that birthday cake moment was seriously cute 🍰💕).

But let’s be honest — the plot is very simple. It gave me similar vibes to The Spark in Your Eyes (2025 Chinese BL) — both are about actors falling for each other while filming a BL. Not saying one copied the other — just funny how the trope is back again 👀.

Still, I was kinda bored 😅. Nothing really grabbed me or made me feel butterflies. And the biggest letdown? That so-called kiss at the end. ONE. SECOND. I waited all 3 episodes for something swoony and we got crumbs 😤. Where’s the passion? Where’s the drama? Hoping Season 2 delivers a proper kiss and some actual heat! 🔥💥

It’s a light and visually pretty BL with a cute pairing, but if you’re looking for intensity, keep those expectations low.

This is honestly one of the cutest and warmest BLs I’ve ever seen—pure, wholesome, and full of heart.

✨ Moo’s first love for Kang was adorable right from the start. I still can’t get over that beautiful moment when Moo wrote the theme song for Kang and sang it through the school’s speakers 🎶🫠 If someone ever did that for me… I’d simply melt into a puddle.
🎵 I also LOVED the OST—especially the theme song Moo wrote. I've listened to it so many times now, it's stuck in my head and heart 💘🎧

💚 Loved the lack of unnecessary drama—no annoying third wheels, no miscommunication, just healthy communication, apologies when needed, and emotional maturity.
The break-up scene on the Metro was so unique and heartbreaking 🥹 And Moo keeping the frozen curry-rice in the freezer for a year?? That was LOVE in its purest form 😭🍛💔

💫 I also adored the second couple, Potoe and Payos. Watching all four boys grow from high schoolers to successful idols while supporting each other was so heartwarming.

🎤 A special shoutout to Keen (Moo) — I was shocked he’s only 18!! He’s super talented: he can act, sing, dance, and just lights up the screen with his cuteness and charm 🥹 Can’t wait to see more of him!

Title: Most Intense Enemies-to-Lovers Ever — Completely Obsessed!

I just finished all 12 episodes of Love Syndrome III in just a couple of days — and let me tell you, I was hooked. I watched the uncut version (1 hour per episode) and I highly recommend everyone do the same. Do not watch the cut version on Viki — it loses so much depth and emotion. The uncut version is raw, powerful, and totally worth every minute.

Honestly, this is the perfect example of why you shouldn’t trust MDL ratings blindly. Despite its low 6.5 rating here, I’m giving this drama a solid 10/10. I wasn’t bored for even a second. Each 1-hour episode flew by. If you love chaos, pain, deep emotional bonds, and intensity — this is it. One of the best, most brutal and emotionally exhausting enemies-to-lovers I’ve seen. And I’ve watched a lot of BLs. Nothing comes close to the level of obsession and emotional whiplash this series delivers.

I watched Love Syndrome III after finishing Unforgotten Night and Love Syndrome: The Beginning — and to be honest, the order doesn’t really matter. But if I could rewatch them, I’d do it in reverse release order:

1. Love Syndrome: The Beginning (2024)
2. Love Syndrome III (2023)
3. Unforgotten Night (2022)

The characters Day and Itt appear in all three, but each version features different actors. My favorite by far is Long (Day) and Frank (Itt) in Love Syndrome III. The chemistry between them is insane — intense eye contact, explosive fights, and passionate moments. Both are tall, gorgeous, and incredibly talented. Their portrayal of Day and Itt is unforgettable.

What I Loved:
The Plot: People say it’s toxic — and yes, it is. But that’s exactly what makes it so addicting. If it wasn’t “toxic,” it would be just another forgettable BL. You have to watch the entire series to fully understand the emotional layers and the reasons behind their actions.

Emotional Shift: At first, Day is endlessly patient with Itt’s childish behavior. But after the accident, the roles reverse. Itt sacrifices everything for Day. The love, pain, and loyalty he shows is heart-wrenching.

Itt’s Devotion: He’s so tired, emotionally wrecked, and all he wants is to be loved back. And still, he never gives up. Even when he’s hurt, even when it’s unfair, he takes care of Day. That is real love.

The Title: It lives up to the name — Love Syndrome. It's not a light romance. It's about obsession, sacrifice, heartbreak, and healing. It’s a full-blown emotional syndrome.

They’ve been through so much together. This was not just a love story — it was a war, a survival, a test of what love can endure. One of the most unforgettable and chaotic BLs I’ve ever watched.

Beyond Life and Death – A Standout BL That Touches the Soul

I randomly stumbled upon "My Stand-In" while browsing iQIYI, not expecting much — and I ended up binge-watching all 12 episodes in one sitting (over 15 hours with breaks!) because I simply couldn’t stop. I still can’t believe I missed this gem when it aired. Every second was worth it.

This is my first time seeing Joe (Poom) and Ming (Up) — and wow, both are absolutely stunning. Their acting is phenomenal, their chemistry is electric, and they brought so much depth to their roles. Joe, especially, completely broke my heart. Growing up as an orphan, all he ever wanted was something so simple: a home-cooked meal and someone waiting for him. His journey, the pain he hides, and his quiet strength made me fall in love with his character.

As for Ming, I honestly don’t get the hate. Yes, he made mistakes and came off as toxic in the beginning, but context matters. It was a misunderstanding, and by episode 9, everything changes when he realizes it was Joe, not Tong, who he fell in love with at first sight. He fought his entire family for Joe, starved himself to the point of hospitalization, and gave up everything — money, family, reputation — just to be with him. And when Joe got kidnapped, Ming was ready to trade his life for him. That’s not a red flag — that’s a man who learned, changed, and truly loved. He even apologized with sincerity. To me, Ming turned out to be one of the biggest green flags in any BL I’ve watched.

And let’s talk about that moment when Joe shielded Ming and took the bullet for him. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is.

I also adored their home — finally, something different from the typical uni dorm! That city-view balcony where they shared so many moments felt like its own character in the story. I also liked the bodyguard Jim, and I really wish we had more screen time with Mike!

From the cinematography to the music to the unique supernatural twist — this show had it all. The plot was emotionally layered, never predictable, and handled so beautifully. It made me cry, smile, ache, and hope. I’ve watched over 200+ BL series, and I can confidently say "My Stand-In" is in my Top 5 of all time.

The Love in The Air Special Episode was the perfect way to wrap up both couples’ stories. At 70 minutes long, it didn’t feel like an afterthought — it felt like a proper continuation and closure for PayuRain and PrapaiSky 💞.

We got more of everything fans love: hot NC scenes 🔥 (yes, multiple and yes, they delivered), beautiful beach visuals 🏖️, and those funny, relatable relationship moments — like when Rain and Sky both left their boyfriends because they were mad and jealous 😆. It was such a cute parallel, and seeing Payu and Prapai panic and try to win them back was chef’s kiss.

Sky and Prapai’s scenes were especially tender and healing 🫶, while Rain and Payu brought the usual fire and chaotic charm 💥💨. The emotional beats landed well, the humor was light and genuine, and visually it was one of the prettiest episodes in the whole series.

Tokyo in April is... completely stole my heart. It's not just a love story—it’s a quiet, powerful journey about healing, reconnection, and the lingering impact of first love. From start to finish, I was emotionally invested in every moment, and it’s one of those rare series that stays with you long after the final episode ends.

📝 Story & Writing
The plot is simple yet profound. It follows Kazuma and Ren, two high school friends reunited as adults after years of silence and heartbreak. Their past is filled with pain, but their reunion is beautifully restrained, realistic, and emotionally layered. The storytelling never rushes, allowing space for meaningful glances, silences, and subtle emotional shifts that speak louder than words. It’s mature and authentic, and I deeply appreciated the way it explored trauma, identity, and forgiveness.

🎭 Acting
The performances are outstanding. Takeda Kouhei as Kazuma and Sakurai Yuki as Ren bring so much depth and nuance to their roles. You can feel the history between them in the way they look at each other—the longing, the hesitation, and the unspoken words. Their chemistry is undeniable, but more than that, it’s genuine. It felt like watching two real people find their way back to something they thought they had lost forever.

Takeda Kouhei as Kazuma is absolutely adorable—gorgeous, beautiful, and effortlessly charming. He plays Kazuma with such warmth and tenderness. He's the kind of character who cooks, cares deeply, and lights up when he sees Ren. His acting in Episode 7, when he breaks down crying, and in Episode 8, when he’s overwhelmed and confused about his feelings for Ren, was so moving—I cried right along with him. He truly comes across as the kind of husband or boyfriend anyone would be lucky to have. When Ren says, “I’ll do whatever it takes to come home to Kazuma,” I felt that deeply—and completely agreed.

🎬 Production & Atmosphere
Visually, the series is soft and atmospheric, with a beautiful use of light and Tokyo’s quiet corners to reflect the characters' emotions. The soundtrack is gentle and perfectly chosen, adding to the emotional pull without being overpowering. The pacing is slow in the best way—it gives room for the story to breathe and for the emotional beats to land.

❤️ Final Thoughts
I binged all 8 episodes in one sitting—I simply couldn’t stop watching. The emotional pull, the gentle pacing, and the connection between the leads kept me fully hooked. This show melted my heart in the best way.

I really hope we get a Season 2, especially with the hint of Ren moving toward marriage and family life. There’s still so much story left to tell, and I would love to see where their paths lead from here.

After watching Perfect 10 Liners, I came into this series with high expectations—and it absolutely did not disappoint. Both shows are must-watches: cute, non-toxic, and filled with supportive friendships and an incredibly charming cast. I was so hooked that I binged all 17 episodes in just three sittings!

🌟 Story & Characters

The series follows four close friends—Easter, Hill, North, and Johan—as they navigate university life, personal growth, and romantic relationships. While it took me a bit to warm up to the first few episodes (especially with Ter/Easter, played by Earth), I gradually grew to appreciate his character more. I’ve loved Earth since My Only 12% and Until We Meet Again, but here his character felt a bit immature at first. That said, his friendship with North was a highlight—supportive, wholesome, and real. My only small critique is that Ter studies veterinary science, yet we never see him interact with animals or do anything related to his field—most of his screen time involves art classes, which feels like a missed opportunity.

Hill (Pond) is visually stunning and has undeniable screen presence. I really enjoyed his calm yet captivating portrayal and can’t wait to see him in his upcoming series Reset. As a couple, HillTer has great chemistry, and I would rate their pairing an 8/10.

💘 But the real stars for me are Johan and North. This couple completely stole the show. Johan (Maxky) is tall, handsome, smart (a med student!), and comes from wealth—he’s the full package. Paired with North (Bas), who is just adorable, genuine, and emotionally expressive, they became one of the best BL couples I’ve ever seen. I wholeheartedly agree with the many MDL and YouTube comments: JohanNorth is top-tier BL couple goals. Their dynamic felt mature, affectionate, and deeply romantic.

Studio Wabi Sabi continues to deliver. While Thai BL production budgets may not always match those of Korean dramas, the chemistry, storytelling, and emotional payoff are all there. The show is visually appealing, the pacing is smooth, and the soundtrack enhances the atmosphere beautifully.

Fourever You is the kind of series that sneaks up on you emotionally. It’s about friendship, love, and growing into the people you’re meant to be—with lots of heart along the way. I’m already counting down to Season 2, especially to see more of the other three couples.

Now let’s talk about Big as God... I’m completely OBSESSED 😍 He’s literally perfect — the height, the body, the smile, the everything. He’s so cute and handsome, like the ultimate boyfriend. I’m already counting down the days until Me and Who — can’t wait to see him again! 🫶

Also really liked Park as Diew — he’s adorable too! Though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the blonde hair 🙈 Sooo happy he’s back to his natural black hair in Me and Who — he looks 1000x better with it 🖤✨

At first, I was confused by the imagery of the characters walking in a straight line—but by the end, everything made perfect sense. The title, “Life: Love on the Line,” resonates so deeply now. It’s not just a metaphor—it encapsulates the entire journey of Akira and Yuuki, who meet at 17 and grow old together until they’re 82.

I can’t believe this was released in 2020 and I only came across it five years later. This is far from the typical Thai university BL series filled with light-hearted romantic tropes. Instead, it's a deeply mature and realistic portrayal of a same-sex relationship navigating the complexities of life, family, and societal expectations.

Akira was the first to feel attracted to Yuuki, initiating their first kiss. He was drawn to Yuuki from the very beginning. But after living together for 11 years, it becomes evident that Akira faced immense pressure—from both his parents and friends—to lead a so-called “normal” life: marriage, children, and conformity. That inner conflict resonated with me on a deeply personal level. I found myself in tears, overwhelmed with emotion, because I too am in a similar situation. In my early 30s, still closeted, I continue to face pressure from family and friends to marry and start a family, all while hiding who I truly am.

Akira, like many, may have momentarily lost sight of the person who truly loved him—Yuuki. Sometimes, people don’t realize what they have until it’s gone. That realization can come too late.

Many viewers may feel anger towards Akira for leaving Yuuki, but the context matters. Yuuki’s mother was open-minded and supportive, while Akira’s mother was not. Akira simply wanted to be seen as "normal" in the eyes of his family. But in the end, he recognized the mistake he made and showed genuine remorse. His confrontation with his mother was powerful, emotional, and incredibly realistic. He not only stood up for himself but also supported his sister through her own struggles.

It begs the question: Does living a “normal” life truly bring happiness? For many parents, like Akira’s mother, being “normal” means avoiding gossip or judgment. But happiness doesn’t come from fitting in—it comes from being with the person you love, someone you want to spend your life with, regardless of what society expects.

What I loved most about this series was its realism. The chemistry between the two male leads was profound, the storyline was compelling, and every moment felt authentic and powerful. It’s an absolute masterpiece—10 out of 10.

I wholeheartedly recommend this series to everyone. Japanese BL dramas hit differently—they don’t just entertain; they make you feel, reflect, and relate.

A Bold and Steamy Step for Korean BL

Tide of Love is our first Korean BL that leans into BDSM and while it is not as explicit as Thai or Japanese BLs, I still really enjoyed it. I already love both main leads from Sweetheart Service and Myeong continues to impress me with every role. He is tall, handsome and incredibly attractive which makes every scene with him even more captivating.

The kiss scenes and the erotic moments are definitely the highlights. They are intimate, well shot and full of chemistry.

My only criticisms are the very weak plot and the editing issues. Some scenes feel mismatched with the audio and the pacing suffers because each episode is only around ten minutes. I wish it were longer because the potential is there.

Despite its flaws, Tide of Love is still a fun, hot and refreshing BL to watch and a bold step for Korean BL content.

Mystery, Brotherhood, and Adventure at Its Absolute Best

Wow, this series came completely out of nowhere. I was just browsing on iQIYI and stumbled across Archives: The Nanyang Mystery, and what an incredible surprise it turned out to be. This Chinese bromance starring Xin Cheng and Zhou Jie has quickly become one of my favorite series of the year.

The production quality is outstanding. The cinematography, costumes, visuals, soundtrack, and action sequences all feel incredibly polished. Every episode pulls me deeper into its world, blending Action, Thriller, Historical, and Mystery elements perfectly. There is also a great balance of adventure, suspense, slight comedy, horror, and conspiracy that keeps the story constantly engaging.

Without revealing too much, the series follows a mysterious investigation that begins with a bizarre case connected to the Zhang family during the Republic of China era. What starts as a dangerous mission gradually unfolds into a much larger mystery filled with secrets, hidden organizations, and unexpected twists. The writing is extremely clever. Every episode leaves me with new questions, but the answers slowly emerge through carefully placed clues, making the journey feel rewarding rather than frustrating.

Xin Cheng continues to impress me after Justice in the Dark. This is his second bromance, and while I wish it could have been a true BL, China's restrictions on the genre do not stop this from being a masterpiece. His chemistry with Zhou Jie is fantastic. The bond between their characters goes far beyond friendship. They constantly protect, trust, and sacrifice for each other in ways that feel deeper than many actual brothers. Their dynamic as polar opposites works wonderfully, and their relationship is easily one of the strongest parts of the series.

The supporting cast is equally strong, especially the skilled and badass female characters who bring even more energy to the story. The teamwork, mentor-mentee elements, smart characters, secret organizations, and intense fight scenes all add to the excitement.

I am only halfway through, but I am already completely invested. Between the mystery, horror atmosphere, thrilling action, emotional character relationships, and fascinating adventure, this series has exceeded all my expectations. If it continues at this level, it will easily remain one of the best shows I watch this year.

Married, Husband and Husband, The Perfect Sequel We Waited More Than Six Months For

After waiting more than six months since Me and Thee finished airing, we finally got a sequel, and it was absolutely worth the wait. I honestly expected maybe a special episode, but getting a four episode instead was such a pleasant surprise. As someone who loved the original series, I couldn't have asked for a better continuation.

What I love most is that the story doesn't stop after the wedding. Instead, we get to see Peach and Thee adjusting to married life as husband and husband, which feels so refreshing. So many romance series end once the couple gets together, but this one lets us enjoy what comes after. Their relationship is just as sweet, chaotic, and entertaining as ever.

Thee is still his dramatic, loud, and completely over the top self, and I wouldn't want him any other way. He absolutely spoils Peach, going all out to make every moment special. Their playful bickering, affectionate moments, and effortless chemistry remind me why PondPhuwin are one of my favorite pairings. They slip back into these characters so naturally that it feels like no time has passed at all.

I was also so happy to see WilliamEst and PerthSanta return. Episode 1 immediately reminded me why I loved them in the original series, and seeing all three couples back together made the reunion even more enjoyable. They each bring their own charm to the story, and I can't wait to see what the remaining three episodes have in store.

Even though this is a lighthearted romance, the series does a great job showing the realities of married life. Peach wants to focus on his career while Thee wants to spend every possible moment together, creating fun and relatable situations without losing the warmth of their relationship. It's a simple premise, but the characters make it incredibly entertaining.

If you enjoyed Me and Thee, this sequel is an easy recommendation. It delivers everything fans could want, including lovable characters, hilarious comedy, heartwarming married life, and plenty of romantic moments. Watching Peach and Thee continue their journey as a married couple is exactly the kind of follow up I was hoping for.

I already can't wait for the remaining episodes.
