Only Friends Season 2 Is Hotter, Wilder, and Completely Addictive
After 2.5 years of waiting, Only Friends Season 2 kicks off with a bang. The first few episodes are electric, easily a 9 out of 10. Seeing so many talented GMMTV actors in one series still feels unreal.Season 2 is sexier, bolder, and messier than ever. The chemistry is stronger, the emotional chaos hits harder, and the storytelling feels confident and exciting. I love seeing actors break away from their previous roles. Earth and Mix, known from A Tale of Thousand Stars, step into completely different characters, and it’s a joy to watch. Joss and Gawin also shine, proving their versatility in this lively university setting.
The standout couple has to be Boom and Aou. Their bathroom one-night stand was steamy, bold, and utterly believable. The tension is off the charts, and I’m hooked on watching their dynamic unfold. Plus, I cannot wait for Neo to appear because he is bound to stir up even more chaos.
However, the series hits a slump in the second half. The story becomes repetitive and drags across 12 weeks. I still enjoyed parts of it, but the excitement faded, dropping my final score to an 8.
Overall, Only Friends Season 2 starts strong, sizzles with bold chemistry, but loses momentum toward the end. It is still worth watching, just brace yourself for the slower stretch.

A Masterclass in Crime, Suspense and Bromance That Had Me Hooked
Sometimes a 20 minute episode can be far more powerful than an hour long one, and Cases Between Us proves exactly that.Set during China's Republican era, the story follows Zhao Shao Shang, a young man with a deep appreciation for traditional culture, who unexpectedly teams up with the talented police officer Yuan Hong. Coming from completely different worlds, the two constantly bicker and clash, but as they investigate a series of mysterious murder cases, they slowly develop an unbreakable partnership. With political unrest growing around them, every investigation pushes them closer to dangerous truths while testing their courage, loyalty, and sense of justice.
The bromance between the two male leads, Zilu as Zhao Shao Shang and Si Chao as Yuan Hong, is absolutely perfect. Their chemistry feels natural, their banter is entertaining, and their contrasting personalities make every scene together enjoyable. They are true polar opposites, but that's exactly what makes their teamwork so satisfying to watch.
I love crime, detective, murder mystery, and investigation dramas, and this series delivers everything I look for. Every episode is thrilling, suspenseful, and keeps the tension high from beginning to end. The storytelling is well paced, the mysteries are engaging, the acting is excellent, and the soundtrack adds even more intensity to every investigation. Chinese dramas have a way of pulling you into their world, and this one had me hooked from the very first episode.
I'm currently 11 episodes in with 25 more to go, and so far this is easily one of my favourite dramas of the year. If the remaining episodes maintain this quality, I can already see this becoming one of my favourite bromance crime dramas ever.

A Promising Omegaverse Romance That Ultimately Disappoints
My most anticipated drama of 2026 has finally arrived. As someone who absolutely loves the Chinese ABO Omegaverse genre and adored My Stubborn, I went into this with incredibly high expectations because it felt like the best of both worlds coming together.The biggest highlight is seeing Boat and Oat reunited once again. They proved in My Stubborn how incredible their chemistry is, and they remain the strongest part of this series. Oat is great as Phatsa, while Boat perfectly captures Nakhun's commanding presence and cold personality, making him feel like a believable True Alpha.
Without revealing too much, the story follows Phatsa, who lives an ordinary life until a chance encounter with Nakhun, a powerful and emotionally guarded Alpha, changes everything. Suddenly drawn into a hidden world of Alphas, Betas, and Omegas, the two become bound by a fate neither of them expected. As their connection deepens, they must navigate trust, destiny, and the challenges that come with being fated mates.
M Flow Entertainment continues to deliver excellent production quality. The acting is solid, everyone looks fantastic on screen, and the soundtrack fits the emotional moments perfectly. The world building is also one of the stronger aspects of the series. I also appreciate that Phatsa is an Omega who can fight instead of constantly needing to be rescued, which makes him a refreshing protagonist.
Unfortunately, after such a strong start and an amazing trailer, the series has gradually lost momentum. The plot becomes weaker with each episode, introducing too many characters and side stories that add very little to the overall narrative. At times, the story feels directionless, and there are moments that simply do not make much sense.
The intimate scenes have also been disappointing. While I understand this is an ABO series, some of the NC scenes feel awkward, especially with characters remaining partially clothed, making them look more strange than passionate. Boat and Oat also had much stronger chemistry in My Stubborn, so their relationship here has not felt as convincing or emotionally engaging.
After four episodes, which is already one third of the series, I'm finding it surprisingly boring. I'm completely lost because there are simply too many characters, and the main story feels unfocused. It honestly feels like the series was rushed into production after My Stubborn, which makes the missed potential even more disappointing.
My rating has steadily dropped from 10 to 9, then 8.5, and now 7.
While I still enjoy the leads, the production quality, and the world building, I cannot ignore that each episode has felt weaker than the last. I really hope the second half can turn things around because the potential is there, but right now I'm genuinely disappointed.

Unrequited Love Under the Summer Sky That Doesn't Drag
The first two episodes hooked me right away. I have a soft spot for high school crushes turning into romance, especially when there are unrequited feelings involved, and this series delivered that without wasting time. I was genuinely surprised that Saeki confessed in the very first episode instead of stretching it out for half the season.The story feels simple, light, and refreshing, focusing more on the emotions and awkwardness of adolescence than unnecessary drama. The chemistry between the leads is natural, the acting is convincing, and the soundtrack fits the youthful summer atmosphere really well. I'm always happy to watch another high school BL, and this one has already pulled me in.
I can't wait to see where the next ten episodes take their relationship.

A Delicious Blend of Time Travel and Royal Romance
Wow, I absolutely love time-travel dramas, and Bon Appétit, Your Majesty did not disappoint one bit. The series mixes palace-era storytelling with the modern twist of cooking, and the result is fresh, funny, and absolutely addictive.Lee Chae Min completely stole the spotlight for me. I already liked him from Hierarchy, but here he truly shines. Tall, handsome, and commanding, he looks every bit the perfect king. His presence on screen is powerful yet warm, making his character both regal and relatable.
On the other hand, this was my very first time seeing Lim Yoon A in a drama, and I was pleasantly surprised. She’s so naturally funny and brings such a lively energy to the series. Her expressions and timing had me laughing out loud more than once, and she balances the drama’s historical setting with just the right amount of lightheartedness.
What really sets this series apart is its unique mix of genres. The cooking element blends seamlessly into the palace backdrop, creating moments that are both heartwarming and mouthwatering. The time-travel concept feels refreshing instead of cliché, keeping the story engaging and full of surprises.
Beyond the characters and concept, the production value is top-notch. The cinematography is gorgeous, with sweeping shots of the palace and beautifully framed cooking scenes. The soundtrack elevates every moment, and the pacing of the story keeps you hooked from the first episode.
Overall, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty is a perfect combination of humor, romance, and fantasy. Every detail—from the acting to the music, feels spot on. I genuinely love this show and cannot wait to see how the rest of the episodes unfold.

A Dark Historical Drama That Keeps You Hooked
This series grabbed my attention from the very first scene. The dark, stormy opening with the heavy rain, eerie atmosphere, and suspenseful soundtrack immediately sets the tone for a gripping historical dark fantasy. The cinematography is stunning, the attention to detail in the royal costumes and palace settings is exceptional, and it's clear a tremendous amount of care and effort went into bringing this world to life.Set in a kingdom where supernatural forces quietly lurk behind the palace walls, the story follows a powerful ghost slayer with extraordinary spiritual abilities who joins forces with a court lady cursed with the ability to see and communicate with spirits. As they investigate the growing darkness surrounding the East Palace and the royal family, hidden secrets, restless ghosts, and sinister conspiracies begin to surface, creating a thrilling mystery that constantly keeps you guessing.
The blend of action, historical drama, horror, and fantasy is executed brilliantly. The supernatural elements feel genuinely unsettling, while the royal intrigue and mystery add even more depth to the story. Episode 1-5 was fantastic from start to finish, with strong performances, excellent pacing, and enough suspense to leave me eager for the next episode.
If the quality stays this high, this is shaping up to be one of the best historical supernatural dramas on Netflix.

Bold, Sexy, and Surprisingly Intimate
Peach Lover earns a strong out of 7/10 for me, mainly because of how bold and confident it is right from the start. I honestly did not expect that level of sexual energy in the first episode, but it works. The series feels erotic, romantic, and unapologetically sensual without feeling awkward or forced.Poom completely surprised me here. I already loved him in The Sign and My Sweetheart Jom, but this role shows a much braver side of him. He really lets loose and commits fully, which makes his performance stand out. Ki is new to me, but for a first impression, he holds his own very well. Together, their chemistry feels natural, intense, and convincing, especially in the NC scenes.
The plot itself does not have the strongest start, but that is easy to overlook when the acting, intimacy, and emotional tension are this engaging. The connection between the leads carries the episode, and it makes you curious to see how their relationship will evolve beyond the physical side.
Overall, Peach Lover is bold, sexy, and emotionally promising but a weak story line.

A Mature and Addictive Love Triangle that Stands Out from GMMTV this Year
So many GMMTV BL series are airing right now, but Burnout Syndrome truly feels different. This is not the usual university BL. It is a more mature story built around a captivating love triangle between Off, Gun and Dew. I already love OffGun from Not Me and the addition of Dew brings a fresh dynamic that fits perfectly into the plot.I absolutely love height differences in this BL! Gun being 168 cm, the shortest artist in GMMTV, paired with Drew at 190 cm, the tallest artist, is already giving me butterflies. This love triangle with Off is going to be so much fun to watch! I’m so happy it’s airing on Wednesday nights because my Fridays and Saturdays are already packed with BLs.
The few first episode delivered a strong start. The plot is engaging, all three characters have presence and the dark bar atmosphere with its sensual music pulled me in instantly. Burnout Syndrome is shaping up to be one of the standout GMMTV BLs of the year and I cannot wait for the next episode.

10/10 Masterpiece of Superpowers, Friendship and 1999 Nostalgia
The WONDERfools is an incredible Netflix series that did not disappoint. With only 8 episodes, it delivered an exciting mix of action, adventure, comedy, fantasy, mystery and heart. This was my first time watching Cha Eun Woo act, and wow, he absolutely impressed me. Not only is he extremely handsome and hot, especially in the iconic white singlet scene while smoking, but his acting, presence and powerful character were amazing. His supernatural abilities were intense, thrilling and brought so much excitement to the story.The story follows an unexpected group of ordinary people living in Haeseong City in 1999, a time filled with fear and uncertainty. After a mysterious incident changes their lives, Eun Chae Ni, Son Gyeong Un and Kang Ro Bin suddenly gain supernatural powers. However, their abilities are not perfect, and they must learn to control their powers while facing dangerous situations and uncovering the mystery behind what is happening in their city.
The trio of friends was honestly one of the highlights of the series. Chae Ni, Gyeong Un and Ro Bin were so funny, clumsy and lovable. Their friendship brought so much charm and comedy to balance the intense action scenes. I also really enjoyed the grandma as a supporting character because she added warmth and heart to the story.
The 1999 setting was beautifully done, with incredible attention to detail from the clothing, old cars, buildings and overall atmosphere. You can really see the amount of effort put into creating this nostalgic world. The music was thrilling, the action scenes were exciting, and the fantasy elements with supernatural powers were visually impressive.
The unique storyline, great acting, amazing chemistry between the characters and the combination of comedy, action and magic made this series such an enjoyable watch. The WONDERfools is a must watch for anyone who loves supernatural powers, friendship, mystery and unforgettable characters.

A Supernatural Masterpiece That Had Me Laughing, Crying, and Cheering From Start to Finish
Wow. I just finished all 16 episodes of Phantom Lawyer, and without a doubt, this is one of the best K dramas I have ever watched. From the very first episode to the last, it delivered an incredibly refreshing and unique story that kept me completely invested.What I loved most was how brilliantly the supernatural elements were blended with mystery, law, comedy, and emotional storytelling. The ghost cases were not only fascinating but also deeply touching. Every one of the seven ghost stories carried so much heart and emotion that I found myself crying more times than I expected. This drama knows exactly how to balance humor, suspense, heartbreak, and healing.
The cast was absolutely phenomenal. Yeon Seok was outstanding as I Rang. His performance was on another level, especially during the possession scenes. Watching him completely transform into different personalities, whether it was a child, a dancer, or a skilled fighter, was incredible. His versatility and talent were on full display throughout the entire series.
Han Na Hyeon was also a fantastic female lead, and I loved the partnership between her and I Rang. Their chemistry, trust, and growth made their relationship one of the strongest aspects of the drama. The supporting cast deserves just as much praise. From I Rang's mother and sister to his adorable niece, every family member added warmth and charm to the story.
Phantom Lawyer has everything I look for in a drama: mystery, comedy, law, supernatural elements, heartfelt stories, emotional depth, ghostly encounters, spirit possession, and even a touch of romance. It is heartwarming, entertaining, and unforgettable all at the same time.
This is a rare drama that made me laugh out loud, cry my eyes out, and stay emotionally invested in every single case. A perfect 10/10 from me. I will definitely be rewatching this masterpiece in the future.
One of the most complete and satisfying K dramas I have ever watched.

Fated Hearts: A Perfect 10/10 Masterpiece of Enemies to Lovers and Heartbreaking Betrayals
Wow, what can I say, this is truly one of the best Chinese dramas I have ever watched. Twenty five hours long and I finished it in just five days because it was so addictive I literally had to call in sick to keep watching. That is how intensely this story pulls you in.This show ticks every single box. The production, story, acting, visuals and OST all come together to create something unforgettable. It is not just a romance, it is a beautifully layered enemies to lovers journey filled with betrayal, redemption and emotional depth that left me speechless.
Visuals
Visually stunning from start to finish. The palace, the Prince's residence, the village, the breathtaking forest scenery, the mountains, even the boat sequences look incredible. Every frame feels crafted with care and it completely immerses you in this world.
Fighting Scenes
The fighting scenes are some of the best I have ever seen. Intense, perfectly choreographed and addictive to watch. The palace confrontation, the boat fight, the mountain battles, the war scenes and the iconic moment at the gate were all executed on a level many dramas can only dream of.
Acting and Characters
What makes this drama so special is the plot twists, betrayals and the morally complex characters. The flashbacks give depth to every villain and every hero, showing why they became who they are. It is clever, emotional and incredibly satisfying.
Chen Zhe Yuan as The First Prince is perfection. Tall, handsome and magnetic. His expressions, his voice, his emotional scenes and especially his crying were so captivating it was impossible to look away. He delivered one of the best performances I have seen and instantly became one of my favourite actors.
Li Qin as Fu Yi Xiao is an amazing female lead. Smart, brave and strong. I love that she is hard to get at first. The lost memory twist was brilliant and the way her love shifts from the Prince of Zhennan to the First Prince of Susha after waking up adds so much emotional tension and complexity.
Xia Meng as the Princess of Susha is such a refreshing addition. She brings a unique charm and the bond between the three siblings is one of the most heartwarming aspects of the show.
Qin Tian Yu as the Emperor of Jinxiu is weird, cruel and unforgettable. His twisted love for the Princess of Susha is chaotic yet strangely compelling. Without this character, the show would not be the masterpiece it is.
Zuo Ye as Murong Yao is outstanding. He starts off funny but watching him transform into someone entirely different in his quest for revenge was fascinating.
Chen He Yi as Xia Jing Shi, the Prince of Zhennan, delivered heartbreaking and powerful acting. After seeing his suffering and the betrayal he experienced, it becomes impossible to blame him for what he does.
Overall
This is the best Chinese drama I have ever watched. The enemies to lovers story, the emotional betrayals, the breathtaking martial arts scenes and the exceptional acting all come together perfectly. The attention to detail is insane and with hundreds of cast members working together to build this world, it truly feels like a masterpiece.
If you have not watched Fated Hearts yet, you are missing out on something extraordinary.

A Haunting Melody of Love, Lies, and Memory
I have always loved crime scenes, murder, and investigation stories, so pairing that genre with BL already had me excited. What made it even better is seeing one of my favourite couples, ForceBook, back on screen. Force as Tankoon, a criminologist, and Book as Botphleng, a crime journalist, is honestly a perfect pairing. Their chemistry is strong, natural, and convincing, and their acting feels more mature and grounded than ever.We have seen ForceBook in both office and university BLs before, so getting them in a fresh mystery crime genre feels like such a breath of fresh air. The first two episodes completely hooked me. I was genuinely shocked by how many kiss scenes we got in the very first episode. The idea of kissing someone when you do not remember anything about them, yet your heart and instincts know you have loved and kissed them before, was portrayed so beautifully. It felt intimate, unsettling, and emotional all at once.
I will be honest, like many viewers, I was confused during the first episode. But it was a good kind of confusion. The title has the word Secrets for a reason. The storytelling is deliberately fragmented, and that sense of disorientation puts you right into Botphleng’s state of mind.
For anyone who felt lost after episode one, do not give up or judge it too quickly. The confusion is intentional. If everything were explained from the start, the mystery and tension that make this genre so addictive would completely disappear. With eight more episodes to go, the series is clearly designed to keep you questioning, uneasy, and constantly guessing, and that is exactly what makes it so compelling.
There is no second couple in this series, which actually works in its favour, as it keeps the focus tight and intense. I am also glad they added Boun to the cast. He is a strong actor and adds another layer of intrigue to the story.
So far, the plot feels unique, the acting is strong across the board, and the atmosphere is dark, suspenseful, and emotionally charged.
Personally, I think this series has been executed really well and perfectly captures the tone of a true psychological and suspense BL. I am genuinely looking forward to the remaining episodes, because if it continues at this level, Melody of Secrets could easily become one of GMMTV’s standout BLs.

A Chaotic, Hilarious, Heartwarming Ride
One of my favourite couples, PondPhuwin from Never Let Me Go, and two of my other favourite pairs, WilliamEst from ThamePo and PerthSanta from Perfect 10 Liners, all appear in this series. Those three shows are 10/10 for me, so having all three couples together instantly made this drama exciting for me.This series is funny, cringe and completely unrealistic, but that is exactly what makes it so entertaining. Peach and Thee’s dynamic is pure chaos from the start. Thee is rich and out of touch with reality in the funniest way, while Peach is grounded and trying to keep him in check. Their personalities crash into each other and somehow fit perfectly.
I adore Pond as Thee, he is so handsome and his comedic timing is amazing. Phuwin matches him so well, and their chemistry makes every scene feel alive.
The only downside for me is the random annoying cringe sound effects. Aside from that, this has become one of my favourite GMMTV series of the year.

The Police Enemies to Lovers Romance I Needed
Japanese BL always hits differently with its unique storytelling, and Duty First, Kiss Later proves it once again. Finally, a mature workplace romance instead of another high school or university BL. Set in a peaceful rural police station, the series focuses on the everyday lives of its officers rather than solving major crimes, creating a cozy and refreshing atmosphere that perfectly complements the romance and comedy.The story follows Takoi, a kindhearted 38-year-old detective who is still single and enjoys unwinding with a drink after work. His complete opposite is Shiono, a younger, ambitious officer who seems to clash with him over every little thing. As if their constant bickering at work wasn't enough, they also live next door to each other in the police dormitory, making their hilarious neighbors-to-lovers and enemies-to-lovers dynamic even more entertaining. The age gap between them adds another layer to their relationship without ever feeling forced.
Episode 1 completely won me over. Takoi goes on a blind date, but Shiono's jealousy gets the better of him, leading him to ruin the date before unexpectedly confessing his feelings and kissing Takoi. I never saw that coming, and it was the perfect way to kick off the romance. It was funny, sweet, and left me wanting more immediately.
The acting is excellent, the cast fits their characters perfectly, and the chemistry between the two leads is incredible.
If you're looking for a romantic comedy with mature characters, great banter, plenty of tension, and an exciting enemies-to-lovers journey in a unique police workplace setting, this is definitely worth watching. I already love it and can't wait for the next episode.

Strong Cast, Weak Plot After Episode Two
Great cast, and I genuinely like the actors, so I don’t want to be negative. However, after episode two, the story starts to feel weak. Three university students who are supposed to be studying are instead spending their time walking around campus putting up heart-shaped stickers with photos of their crushes, which doesn’t feel realistic at all. If you’re going to do a university BL, it should at least feel believable. University life should focus more on studying and personal growth, not posting pictures of your lover all over campus.I’m also hoping the entire 12-episode plot won’t just be Duang chasing after Qinn, with Qinn playing hard to get the whole time and only accepting his love at the very end. I really like the cast, but after the second episode, the storyline just isn’t working for me so far.
