I dislike love triangles🥲, and I actually dropped it before without knowing she kissed the second male lead first. I thought she just had a crush on him, but to kiss him and then not even end up with him just to test maybe something is 🙃 and maybe know she likes ml so she date him while he’s still trying to please her from start even knowing she likes his friend ! 😒 I’m allergic to this kind of plot and simps.

It’s a C-drama, so a male lead having multiple love interests is rare, but the female lead having many love interests is totally normal. Most of the time, both men are even “green flag” types. The ML getting jealous and acting silly because of it is another cliché ,but the FL being jealous or acting silly over another girl is much rarer.

Another common cliché is that the FL can stay friends with the second male lead and act like he doesn’t like her, but if the ML has a second female lead around, he can’t be friends with her because the FL will always be mad at him.

And of course, the ML isn’t even allowed to get mad at the FL for being close to her ex or a guy who clearly likes her , because then it’s “not his right” or “he doesn’t trust her.” 😅🙂 The double standard in this trope is just crazy.
and another reason is to show fl is the star and the one that every good man fall for her and it's her ex lost in many times if she had an ex , like only for love Cdrama 😅🙂😒 ,

And her reason is basically that men are doing it too, so she wants to be better than men at being a shitty, gross person, lol. Toxic feminism is exactly about things like this doing everything men do, even if it’s disgusting. And it’s not like her sleeping around is even difficult like it is for men; she easily get a 100+ body count, while the men she hates in the drama can’t even get two or three women in a long time, lol. and how she hate men but she was Soo masculine and acting like a man even in her speech and how she reacts with men and abusive!!? she can be all that but act feminine to show she can do what men do but stay feminine not be a man in a woman's body.

I just feel she get with it just because she's a woman and because of feminism, if the man who do what she did , I bet he will be one if not the worst ml in kdrama history 😅 even if he get better at the end and still don't want to get married and have children 🙂

That would never happen because the ML is a simp without dignity or backbone he’s only in the drama to be in love with her, tolerate everything, and wait for her for years just to lose his virginity 😂😅. I dislike these tropes because of this misandry making men tools to please the FL and be perfect for her, even remembering her medication time that she doesn’t care to remember herself because her job is more important and he's there so why she should focus on that . And of course, they’ll give him time to become successful too, so he’ll be perfect for her in every way, with a good job 😅😅. So in the end, she wins, and time skip should be three to four years because that time when crypto get higher in price with the coronavirus thing so they meet after COVID and happy ending

Yes,I realized it will be like this , because that’s how they write MLs . But if it were reversed, I bet he’d need several episodes just to apologize before she finally forgave him. And even if she didn’t make it too hard for him, at least he would still apologize and confess his true feelings unlike her, who just acts like she didn’t do anything wrong. It’s always okay for her to lie or hurt him if it benefits her or if she’s supposedly helping him and doesn’t want him to know because she cares about him 😅🙃.

But it is what it is C-dramas love this kind of double standard in romance between the leads, where the FL is always right. And since the majority of viewers seem to like it, it’s a win-win for them.

any Cdrama and kdrama have same tropes when it comes to romance unfortunately, that's why I stopped watching it , like you said in Cdrama enemies to lovers and in kdrama fake marriage and fl just had a break up and they know each other from young age lol

And the big red flag for me when it comes to not watching it is that I read above she didn’t even apologize for all that, and he didn’t care act like she didn't do anything bad 😔🙄🤡. This is what I dislike about C-dramas they make the MLs love the FLs unconditionally, so they accept any disrespect and tolerate everything in the name of love. Then they make the FL sick so he can’t blame her or get angry, but instead runs to save her. And they don’t even let him find out until episode 25!!!

The ML was just a punching bag for everyone his close ones, his enemies and he just tolerated it. None of them apologized to him: not the FL, not his master, not his mom, not the woman he helped. No one apologized, and still he loved them all as if they hadn’t made his life miserable and caused him so much suffering.

I read above that the FL hurt the ML and lied to him a lot, and she never apologized for it (yes, I also read that she sacrificed for him, did things for him, and loved him). But she never apologized for what she did, like everyone else who hurt him! Is that true? And if it is, then what’s the difference between her and the others who hurt him for their own benefit? and is it true that they didn't really become together till the end and they only pretend to be married because of her lies!?

It was at 13:43 in the first episode. It looks and sounds like she was thinking about what he said before he got the message. She told him that he needed to let her see his phone because she would always regret it if she didn’t. That means she was thinking about going through with the wedding, but she wanted to see his phone to have a reason not to do so.

And they make the male leads like that too only a “green flag” for the female lead, otherwise they’re pushovers: insecure, lacking confidence, and just waiting for the female lead to be strong so she can defend him and make him trust himself 🙃🤦

We all know she won’t succeed with that, and she’s definitely going to get exposed so all of this is just annoying clichés. Let’s wait and see whether she’ll even care about her ex or not.

If he doesn’t say anything about the fake marriage and still helps her but ends up getting exposed, I bet she’ll just become friends with him. The only way she’d actually hate him is if he exposes her.

But for now, it’s clear she still has a soft spot for him. In the first episode, she was even considering forgiving him for cheating if he ended things with his mistress if it weren’t for that message. That’s just how her character is: she did everything in the relationship, tolerated all his crap, paid for everything, and still thought he was a good guy.

I don’t blame the writers that much because they only write what sells. Even after everything you mentioned, the majority of viewers still like it and find it okay they just turn their brains off while watching to enjoy it 😅. So, writers simply write what makes them money.

Like you said, he cheated on her, broke up with her, then came back and accused her of cheating on him. And she’s so nice that even when she’s angry at him, she still lets him do that and even feels sorry for him just because he got a fractured bone or something. If it were me, I’d make him hurt more instead of helping him 😤. And if I’m not wrong, I can already see that she’ll forgive him in the end and they’ll even become friends again.

Because they like the actors and how they portray those tropes, as well as the chemistry between the leads and the second couple. There are also many people who enjoy this cliché plot. (I'm one of those who don’t like it, but I still wait to see if they change anything at least when they get exposed, they don’t do the breakup and time-skip cliché. If they do that too, then I don’t watch it, even if I’ve already downloaded all the episodes 😅🙂)

Me too, my friend. It's refreshing to read opinions like yours different from the majority of viewers who see what we dislike as something empowering for the FL or somehow a good thing 🙃. Especially when they have SML syndrome or whatever they call it, and dislike the FL just because she chose the ML over the SML 🤦🤦.
