Idk why you're saying this, because for me (as a k-dramas watcher), It's been a long time since there was a romcom…
I watched 1/2/3, but I didn’t watch 4 because I didn’t like the plot.5 was frustrating for me even though I didn’t watch it how is the ML such a simp, following her while she’s having a great time with her ex? šŸ˜’Because This Is My First Life was good, but I disliked the clichĆ© breakup and time-skip (if I remember correctly, she broke up with him for a while and then went back to him).I downloaded 1% of Something to watch, but I still haven’t finished it. I get bored watching it and I don’t know why.The only one I actually liked from all of these is Crash Course in Romance, because the FL doesn’t have an ex and the ML doesn’t either and there’s no love triangle. My Sweet Mobster was fluffy and good too.I disliked Love to Hate You because of the toxic feminism and the simp ML. I did like that it showed a mature relationship and had good intimate scenes, but when I remember that she did all of that with who knows how many men, and that she did it just because ā€œmen do it tooā€ and wants people to accept it the same way, I end up disliking her personality specifically and the entire drama overall because of her choices and that she forced ml to accept them indirectly because if he didn't she will break up with him . šŸ˜…šŸ¤£sorry for the long paragraph and rants . thank you have a great night

She is not sleeping with them
if he did that I will watch it happily because I dislike evil fls or mls get with it in the drama, and I like more if he stopped loving her , because it's humiliating if he knows what she's doing and still wants to have something with her it gives he's a doormat without dignity. I wait if he's like you said it will be good. thank you

She is not sleeping with them
I will, when it ends and I know she gets what she deserves for everything she did. I really dislike characters like her getting a happy ending or even an open ending. I’ll be frustrated for a long time if she gets away with all the things she’s doing, and it’s only halfway through the drama and she’s already this bad.šŸ¤—

It doesn't matter. No need to shame her with her body count. This story isn't about that. So far writers didn't…
Shaming a psychopathic, narcissistic, toxic, sadistic FL is ā€œbadā€!?? And I should wait until they justify her crimes and manipulation!? šŸ™ƒ
She’s literally everything bad any one say about her, and honestly, shaming her about her body count ,_ if she really used herself to manipulate her victims _ is the nicest thing to do, lol.

She is not sleeping with them
So she’s manipulating them without even dating them!? Are they really men, or just weak simps with no brain to think with? I’m asking because I want to know if they actually make her smart and the men smart too, or if she’s the only smart one in the drama while all her ā€œvictimsā€ are just weak, virgin simps who get manipulated easily. (I already know the ML is definitely one.) I’m not sure about the other victims.
Thank you for answering.

Ugh...think there's something wrong with me. I love seeing the male leads simp and pine for A Jin.
most viewers I guess here is liking simps and call them green forest, it tells you they like to see men humiliating themselves for a woman and she plays with them like idiots šŸ¤—šŸ˜…šŸ˜… maybe I'm wrong

You don’t like it don’t watch. Problem solved. Except we all know you’re going to watch coz it’s so good…
I’m not against exes; I just want MLs to have exes too, not be virgins that’s all , like also when they use love triangle cliche , most of the time sfl is evil and sml is more perfect than the ml šŸ˜’šŸ™ƒšŸ˜…
. I’ve watched Touch Your Heart; it’s a good drama. I’ve also watched Her Private Life, See You in My 17th Life, and Destiny to You (a K-drama where the ML have a girlfriend and the FL was single ).

Lol, wdym? The main audience for these dramas are women. And these classic plots allow them to vicariously live…
I agree with you. It’s successful because the audience is mostly women, and they make the ML nearly perfect always doing what audience dream men would do in real life . I also see what you meant about toxic exes. In general, it’s disrespectful to compare a nearly perfect person to a toxic, lowlife one. But in dramas, like you said, they use it to bring the leads closer and create cute scenes, like the ML’s jealousy and also his ā€œSupermanā€ moments saving her from the ex.

I’ve never read negative comments about this kind of K-drama if the ML is nearly perfect and they have good chemistry. You only see negative comments if there’s no chemistry because these tropes without good chemistry are a death sentence for any drama, even if the leads are A list actors.

I’m just talking about the K-drama world in general, not about this drama, And be sure, I’m not watching, because I know it’s the same tropes with different actors. If it’s different after it ends, then I watch it because I'm still waiting for a different rom-com for ages . I mean, for example: the FL is strong and has boundaries with her ex if he’s in the picture; she doesn’t forgive her family without them doing something to deserve forgiveness; she doesn’t break up with the ML because of her lies and makes an effort in the relationship for him instead of choosing to break up; and the ML doesn’t act like a simp, blindly chasing after her without her doing anything to redeem her lies .

It's not "always" like that in fact i can think of more MLs with an annoying ex (or a fiancee/fiancee-to-be)…
Recent K-dramas? I don’t think I know that many. If you want, give me some K-dramas where the male lead has an ex, and the female lead has never dated or has dated, but her ex is not in the picture , and she likes the male lead even when his ex is around. Thank you.

Lol, I give up on K-dramas to have the different ideas for rom-coms , the same clichƩs with different actors , they just sell it with the chemistry between the leads and some good comedy that uses those clichƩs in a decent way "kind of"

Is it forbidden in K-dramas , especially rom-coms for the ML to have an ex and be normal rich man even if he doesn't dating !? Why does the FL always have exes, usually toxic ones, and she was making more effort in the relationship , and the ML has to fight the ex and sometimes get jealous if fl friends with him ? And why do we always get the selfish, evil family who treats the FL (ml) like she isn’t even part of the family!?

Why are rom-coms always the same tropes with different actors? Same storyline every time: meet → fake dating → real dating → breakup/get back together.
ML falls first and harder, while the FL has no boundaries with her ex !!!

Poor FL and rich ML… now it’s become as common as humans breathing oxygen lol.

1. The chemistry is insane, dynamite levels2. They are both amazing actors which means their acting is not cringe3.…
Is it like in recent K-dramas where the female lead has some ex in picture , and the male lead has crazy illness that prevents him from dating women, so he never did and the female lead becomes the cure because she's special šŸ™ƒ thank you

First episode, and I see the FL slapping the ML even though he didn’t do anything , she only think it was a dream, and she still doesn’t apologize as if nothing happened. šŸ˜’šŸ˜”One of the most clichĆ© things I hate in C-dramas is how easily they make FLs slap MLs, and then the MLs just act like nothing happened sometimes ( always) even falling for the one who slapped them 🤔.I can already imagine how many things the ML will have to do just to make the FL fall for him again a d has to wait and tolerate everything, I bet he’ll end up being one of those simps in female-centric dramas all about women’s empowerment and independence and men are second degree citizens , where his only role is to be supportive and "beg" for love.I really hope this one is different and not like the usual female-centric costume C-dramas .oh boy if they give fl another love interest and she has to marry or something like that, and if there a separation between them for some years it will be perfect for recycling same sh** tropes and cliches with different actors.
