It’s the double standard in recent K-dramas — and C-dramas too. If the FL was so close to SML( I know a kdrama fl even kissed sml just because she wants and she blame ml about it and he just agreed with it and move on, but she get mad at him because he was talking to his ex ), it’s not treated as a big deal. But if the ML even touches another woman’s hand, he’s suddenly a scumbag, lol.

The FL often misleads the SML or other men — not always directly, but by letting them touch her, lay on her lap, or by being overly kind to them — without thinking at all about how the ML might feel. And when the ML gets upset, she gets angry at him and makes it seem like he's insecure or unreasonable.

Meanwhile, the ML isn’t even allowed to go near another woman — even if it's to save her. And most of the time, they write the ML so weak that he can’t set boundaries or speak his mind about what the FL did, because he's afraid she’ll get mad or run off to the SML. So they make him compete with other men for her attention, get jealous, and just stay quiet

I never said that if someone gets shot, they’ll develop the skills to dodge bullets. What I said was that training takes years — it’s not something you get in a day or two. And John Wick is the guy you call to kill assassins — not just some boxer. In real life, a boxer isn’t that dangerous compared to athletes trained in other martial arts. John Wick is shown to have trained in those more dangerous martial arts, along with his talent in handling guns. So his abilities are more logical than Dong-ju’s.

Especially considering Dong-ju is weak even compared to the second male lead, who couldn’t pull off what he did. It’s just illogical that they made Dong-ju fight like that and survive, always ending up with some black eyes or broken ribs, but somehow fighting again the very next day.

and about your logic that he trained so he can dodge every punch is correct to a degree but you forget he can't fight for Soo long and against that many people and still dodge every punch, of he has infinity stamina yes he can beat them all and don't get hit that much but fighting is about stamina not just skills

And yes, if you're trained that hard and get stabbed and shot many times and didn't died, you develop skills to dodge that. It's not realisticto a degree, but they give you a good reason for why he's like that, not just friendship power or love power

Because John Wick was trained his whole life for that job — it's what he does and he's the best of the best. But Dong Ju is just a boxer who gets beaten up 😅🤣🤣🤣 You're comparing Baba Yaga to a lovesick, act like silly teenagers! lol

It's a C-drama, so don't expect the male lead (ML) to ever be portrayed as smarter than the female lead (FL) — even if she's not actually that smart. It's a FL-centric drama, so he’s never going to "win" over her.

They always follow the same formula: first, the ML keeps losing to her, then he falls for her, and after that, she controls him and he does everything she wants.

Even the better C-dramas with solid plots still have this issue — like The Prisoner of Beauty.

There’s never any real balance in these types of C-dramas. I’ve never seen one where the ML is allowed to shine equally. The FL is always the one who wins and is portrayed as more intelligent.

Just to be clear, I’m talking about dramas like this not ML centric ones with doormat FLs.

but why they make it love triangle also!? Why not make sml only friends with them !? I never liked this plot of be friends but love same woman and get hurt silently of sml a nice guy like kdrama while you were sleeping sml get hurt silently and ml know it but fl never know about it, I dislike it so I never ended watching that drama

and fls more open with high body count lol most recent kdrama like this and some even make fl talking about sex openly in time ml act like a little boy never speak about it

is she was not acting hard to get for 4 episodes and it's just a 12 episodes drama so she was hard to get for a third of the drama time lol

Jokes aside, I hope they don't make the second male lead give them his blessing like he's her father or brother, or make her cry over it. It's already bad enough that they make the male lead friends with his girlfriend's ex

But they still make the second male lead like the female lead, while the second female lead is often an evil character who doesn't even like the male lead! ,
in many dramas the female lead falls first, but after the male lead pushes her away, she stops chasing him — then suddenly he starts chasing her way more than she ever did, and she plays hard to get. So there are no real reversed gender roles; it's just a fake version. I dislike that. I hope they don't use it in this drama too. And they really need to stop the stupid love triangle cliché — especially when the second male lead has been her friend for years but never says anything, and then suddenly acts on his feelings just because the male lead shows up and we see two men stupid jealous all the time and fl even when she can see the future can't even see that her friend love her romantically 🤔😅😮‍💨 lol

I will not even watch it because of this cliche that sml is in friendzone and he likes her and don't say anything till ml in picture he will try to say something or do something, and it's another drama that proves men and women can't be plotonic friends lol
