Title Moon River
man, looking at the comments here I start to question some you guys' tastes and even know how to watch a drama.…
It’s just the same thing the ML loves the FL more than his own life, while the FL likes him like she likes anyone else. I’ll wait until she remembers him to see how she reacts. Will she even feel half of what he felt when he thought she died?

What I dislike about Asian dramas recently is that the ones who show deep emotions, fall first and harder, make more effort, and build their whole life around their love interest are always the MLs. Meanwhile, the FLs only seem to like the ML conditionally. You can feel that if the ML didn’t do all that, she wouldn’t even like him.

Her feelings always come with terms and limits, and she easily breaks up with the ML for her own reasons without thinking about him. Then he has to accept it and wait until she finishes whatever “more important” things she has before she decides to get back together 😂

I don’t know about this FL yet, but I bet like always , the ML’s love is ten times stronger than hers if we could measure it 😅
and it will be normal if they make sml fall for her first and likes her too before start liking the sfl , and jealousy cliche, I can imagine the cringe if they make him in her body and get jealous because of SML and has to pretend 😅 I hope it's not like this sh*t cliche . and have a good reason for doing that.

sorry for rants 🤗

So, in this drama, there’s a love triangle the female lead kissed both the male lead and the second male lead, and she even slept with both. The male lead found them in the same room, and instead of doing anything, he just glared at her angrily.

Throughout the whole drama, whenever the male lead did something she didn’t like, she slapped him. But when she did the same or even worse, he just cried about it and kept suffering because of her. She humiliated him by getting close to the second male lead, supposedly for a “good reason,” but in the end, it was pointless because she could’ve found out what she needed without kissing or sleeping with him.

Still, she did it , and the male lead kept crying, confessing his love, and simping for her 🤣😅🤣. He’s honestly in the top 5 most simping male leads, and almost a “cucumber,” because he acted like what she did wasn’t a problem ,as if it was all for a good reason, lol.

So basically, every time they had a problem, she could just kiss or sleep with another man to “solve it,” and he’d be okay with it I mean He had no say to start with so it's her decision , or else she’d slap him again if he didn't want to listen . this how I feel about this because I hate something called love triangle and simping mls without any personality just crying and getting slapped and watch his love being with another man and saves her everytime and cook and clean for her while she chilling

about the 7 point, I read that she had a crush on the sml for more than half of the drama and I watch some clips…
Thank you for answering, but in my opinion, that’s exactly what a love triangle is. A friend even said the SML kissed her( ep 6 ) while the ML was watching, and that she spent more than half of the drama crushing on sml. The ML also listened to her confession when she was thinking confessing to sml . To me, all of this makes it a love triangle.
I dropped it at episode 4 , I regret downloading all the episodes. 🥲

Title Welcome to Samdal-ri Spoiler
ML character is really pathetic. Another male character who has cursh on FL is beyond pathetic. Nothing special…
What’s even crazier to me is her confession that she was with many men just to forget him , and that she was actually a good girlfriend to her cheating ex before he cheated .

Meanwhile, the ML stayed celibate for eight years, traveling to the city just to see her from a distance, supporting her, never trying to forget her, and never seeing other women. Yet somehow, he’s the one who has to do everything againto get back the relationship.

And then she has the nerve to blame him and their friends for not asking about her problems , like what kind of logic is that? 😂 She wasn’t even a good friend to any of them! For eight years she didn’t know anything about their lives, while they always supported her, watched her on the news, and were proud of her , and they didn't asked her just to not make her sad and help her forget but still she blames them and they cry for her again .

The SML was a pathetic simp in every sense of the word.

And then comes another cliché , when they finally get back together, she suddenly acts like a teenager virgin whenever he tries to be intimate 🤡, The poor guy waited eight years, while she was out there dating multiple men to “forget” him, and had just broken up with her ex 😅🤣 I guess she was satisfied in that regard so she didn't need it 🙃 like the ml who was celibate.

Yet the ML still worships her, accepts the tiniest smile from her, and would literally give his life for it.

Then, of course, they try to make it seem like she’s sacrifice also “waiting” for him at the end while he chases his dream , but in reality, it’s just so she can keep working without feeling guilty about leaving him again because he didn't want to go to city . And in the end, he’s the one who moves to the city for her, so she doesn’t have to sacrifice even a little or do something for him only .

And she still working with her ex in the end! 🤯 Let's not talk about he cheated on her , but she didn't even think about ml seeing her ex who hurt her working with her !? It's another way to say she's in control and he has no say about it

The ML existed in drama only to worship her, make her happy, sacrifice for her, and tolerate anything she does. He was the perfect man for her, but she was never even close to being on his level.

what the f !? she even kissed sml !? this is 🤡 and ml is a cucumber after he just get with it and still they…
I know, unfortunately they’re crazy 🙃, and also about sad endings most of the time just because they like them .
I stopped watching Asian dramas in general, except for a few good ones that don’t have love triangles or too many clichés , especially the “break up just to break up” and time-skip ones, like the recent K-drama To the Moon 😅🤣😂

what the f !? she even kissed sml !? this is 🤡 and ml is a cucumber after he just get with it and still they…
thank you for answering I appreciate it. and sorry for rants, I just let my frustrations out 🙂😅

They like to make male leads into cucumbers lol, watching their love interest get close to another man, and one she actually likes, in this drama. I’m allergic to love triangles, so I didn’t even finish it. I dropped it after just four episodes because the female lead was crushing on the second male lead for more than half of the drama and even imagined him on the male lead’s face. The male lead had to listen to her confess to his friend and even see that friend kiss her, and she still acted like nothing happened. She even seemed to like it just because it was from her crush.

What I hate is how they write men as the biggest simps possible while giving the female lead all the choices. In this one, she even gets kissed and still stays friends with him like it’s no big deal. What’s unique (and frustrating) about J-dramas is that the female lead usually apologizes or comforts the guy who forced a kiss on her , and she doesn’t even stop him 😒. But when it comes to the male lead, she curses him, disrespects him from the start, and misunderstands him even though he didn’t do anything wrong 😒.

Yet her crush, who literally kissed her without her consent, is still “the best man she knows” 😅🤣😂. I just get frustrated, even without watching the rest , because the male lead still falls for her while she’s worshipping his friend, and he has to see her get kissed by him. So every time that friend gets drunk and depressed over his girlfriend, he can come to the female lead for comfort, kiss her thinking she’s his girlfriend, or even force himself on her, and she’ll still make him breakfast the next morning. I watch a drama she literally did this and his excuse later for doing that is that he tested her to see if she's a good wife to his best friend, and she just saying sorry sorry and she Wash his clothes and make him food staying in the house while the husband working 😒

I read below that fl kissed sml ep 6 and she didn't kissed ml till episode 8 !? is it true!? thank you
That’s the worst thing about J-dramas in general for me , the female leads usually have no boundaries or values when it comes to the second male leads and accept anything even if he tried worse than kissing.

If she ended their friendship afterward, that would be a little okay. But I know how it goes in J-dramas the FL acts like the SML didn’t do anything wrong .
I bet she even apologizes for not kissing him back or something , then pretends it never happened.not even say a thing bad about him like she was saying to ml in his face in Korean 😔🤔

thank you have a good night

I dislike love triangles🥲, and I actually dropped it before without knowing she kissed the second male lead first. I thought she just had a crush on him, but to kiss him and then not even end up with him just to test maybe something is 🙃 and maybe know she likes ml so she date him while he’s still trying to please her from start even knowing she likes his friend ! 😒 I’m allergic to this kind of plot and simps.

Thanks for reminding me I should add this to my blacklist.

Okay people, I might sound controversial here, (hehe😌)We may despise an Evil Second Female Lead, but why is…
It’s a C-drama, so a male lead having multiple love interests is rare, but the female lead having many love interests is totally normal. Most of the time, both men are even “green flag” types. The ML getting jealous and acting silly because of it is another cliché ,but the FL being jealous or acting silly over another girl is much rarer.

Another common cliché is that the FL can stay friends with the second male lead and act like he doesn’t like her, but if the ML has a second female lead around, he can’t be friends with her because the FL will always be mad at him.

And of course, the ML isn’t even allowed to get mad at the FL for being close to her ex or a guy who clearly likes her , because then it’s “not his right” or “he doesn’t trust her.” 😅🙂 The double standard in this trope is just crazy.
and another reason is to show fl is the star and the one that every good man fall for her and it's her ex lost in many times if she had an ex , like only for love Cdrama 😅🙂😒 ,

And her reason is basically that men are doing it too, so she wants to be better than men at being a shitty, gross person, lol. Toxic feminism is exactly about things like this doing everything men do, even if it’s disgusting. And it’s not like her sleeping around is even difficult like it is for men; she easily get a 100+ body count, while the men she hates in the drama can’t even get two or three women in a long time, lol. and how she hate men but she was Soo masculine and acting like a man even in her speech and how she reacts with men and abusive!!? she can be all that but act feminine to show she can do what men do but stay feminine not be a man in a woman's body.

Same happened to me. I couldnt stomach female lead's writing. If I meet this kinda writing in male lead I can…
I just feel she get with it just because she's a woman and because of feminism, if the man who do what she did , I bet he will be one if not the worst ml in kdrama history 😅 even if he get better at the end and still don't want to get married and have children 🙂

Ok I’m gonna be harsh and I apologise in advance.I don’t think I have seen such dislikable main female characters…
sorry for the rant 😅

That would never happen because the ML is a simp without dignity or backbone he’s only in the drama to be in love with her, tolerate everything, and wait for her for years just to lose his virginity 😂😅. Like she said, Just go, and I’ll come to you when the time comes", after she get rich lol and he even asks, “How many years?” 🤡

I dislike these tropes because of this misandry making men tools to please the FL and be perfect for her, even remembering her medication time that she doesn’t care to remember herself because her job is more important and he's there so why she should focus on that . And of course, they’ll give him time to become successful too, so he’ll be perfect for her in every way, with a good job 😅😅. So in the end, she wins, and time skip should be three to four years because that time when crypto get higher in price with the coronavirus thing so they meet after COVID and happy ending

No it's a very happy ending and the way they wrote their relationship is very enjoyable even if it has usual tropes…
thank you for answering.

Yes,I realized it will be like this , because that’s how they write MLs . But if it were reversed, I bet he’d need several episodes just to apologize before she finally forgave him. And even if she didn’t make it too hard for him, at least he would still apologize and confess his true feelings unlike her, who just acts like she didn’t do anything wrong. It’s always okay for her to lie or hurt him if it benefits her or if she’s supposedly helping him and doesn’t want him to know because she cares about him 😅🙃.

But it is what it is C-dramas love this kind of double standard in romance between the leads, where the FL is always right. And since the majority of viewers seem to like it, it’s a win-win for them.

I wouldn’t necessarily say Wuxia, but most of the fantasy and Xianxia dramas do, since they tend to be more…
any Cdrama and kdrama have same tropes when it comes to romance unfortunately, that's why I stopped watching it , like you said in Cdrama enemies to lovers and in kdrama fake marriage and fl just had a break up and they know each other from young age lol

The lies went on too long . Dear lawd. Making the ML think the golden millet was for a guy in my opinion made…
sorry for rants it's just a frustrating thing in Cdramas the double standard on how they write mls and fls .

And the big red flag for me when it comes to not watching it is that I read above she didn’t even apologize for all that, and he didn’t care act like she didn't do anything bad 😔🙄🤡. This is what I dislike about C-dramas they make the MLs love the FLs unconditionally, so they accept any disrespect and tolerate everything in the name of love. Then they make the FL sick so he can’t blame her or get angry, but instead runs to save her. And they don’t even let him find out until episode 25!!!

The ML was just a punching bag for everyone his close ones, his enemies and he just tolerated it. None of them apologized to him: not the FL, not his master, not his mom, not the woman he helped. No one apologized, and still he loved them all as if they hadn’t made his life miserable and caused him so much suffering.

(I read this in the comments; I haven’t watched it, and I’d like to be corrected if I’m wrong. Because I really dislike these kinds of MLs who have no dignity or self-respect the excuse is that they’re “kind” and “understanding,” and nice that didn't become evil even when he treated like shit , so they let people use them, lie to them, and mistrust them and they don’t even make an apology to him but he act like he's the one in fault . That’s not being nice; that’s being spineless, with no personality at all. Anyone can treat them badly, and they’ll just smile back.)
