Done! a solid 10 for the delivery! I repeat it is really rare to see a pure wholesome drama where everyone is really kind and nice except for the villain. Everyone is supportive and even the soldier who's hellbent on his revenge knew when to stop when he learned the truth.
This drama is just plain wholesome and didn't have those tiring trope of jealous and vicious side characters. I can feel the chemistry between the main leads. Cold yet thoughtful ML and naïve sweet FL. But while the second couple is as lovely as the first couple, I find the chemistry a bit off. For some reason, I felt like I am stuck with XiaoCi's character (and couple spark) in the Tower of Whispers lol.
Anyway, enjoying it so far. Can't wait for the next episode.
This was really hilarious and enjoyable on the first part of the drama. I was glad they didn't drag the soul swap part, but then the plot seems to have gone nowhere after they returned to their original bodies (ep8-9). I'm already in ep16 and there's really nothing going on so I'm losing my interest....
I came here for XiaoCi after Tower of Whispers but unfortunately the plot progress is too slow to keep me engaged. I'll probably come back and finish this when I'm in a better mood
Ep1 and FL is already annoying. Thanks for your mini review, saved my time. The ML won't save a stupid FL for…
I have seen first part of the Sinful Marriage because it was recommended from a drama I recently watched at that time, and I can say her acting there was tolerable because the character she was portraying was badass. Nevertheless, I still couldn't finish it for how toxic they are to each other til the very end. Anyway, I was really wondering how she kept getting FL roles. 😏
This version is actually sweet and I like how they focused on the blossoming love between the leads and not on the revenge plot nor schemes of the 2FL.
DROPPED! (because I saw the ending lol) The FL was badass and its nice to see how she was able to survive with all the palace scheming.....however I wish she didn't end up with that stupid prick of an ML. NO, the ML didn't love her from the very beginning. He loved the 'person who save him' (and had mistaken someone else), so through out the drama, he didn't actually cared for her, only favored her for s*x. Only when he learned that the FL was the one who really save him had he seemed to have truly liked her, so his so called love was just shallow.
I enjoyed this one and FL has one of the most character growth in vertical dramas I've seen. The flow of the story and every character's interaction were engaging to keep you hooked . There's no nonsense excessive chatter and bullying that are usually present in every vertical dramas I've seen so this one is refreshing.
What puts me off are the 3 male leads (ML, 2ML-adopted brother, and the emperor) who seem to have perverted fantasies. I'm glad the ML's suggested psychotic desires were brushed off immediately and the adopted brother's were not explored more so it didn't ruin the romance.
If you want to watch this, just watch first few minutes then skip to the last 12minutes. THE END. I wasted my 3.14hours for a back and forth denial of each others feelings.

Others are saying a bit of Wei Zhe Ming or Ao Rui Peng
