I've seen a lot of Sun Qian Sun's drama and most of her MLs matches her enthusiastic character. Unfortunately the ML here is just too dull and spineless to even admit his feeling. For a person that was given a second chance for the love of his life, you would think he would fight for her but no, he cowardly left her in one of the scenes and gave up just like that. I know romance isn't the main focus of this drama but a bit of push/action from the ML would've been nice.
It was cute at first and I was laughing when she fools him with her cute acting. But she kept acting like that til the middle and I got tired of it because I'm not into that kind of FL (talks and acts like a 5 year-old). I was waiting for her to be herself and toughen specially when you act against a dominant ZZD. It really doesn't match. Dropped it.
My 2nd time watching this FL (first was the Accidental Firing -dropped bec of her) and again, her character is annoying. Let's see if I'm able to finish this.
lol I've never considered this actress to be an FL because she's so good as a villain in Queen of the Battlefield. Anyway, I quite enjoyed this but didn't like how they portrayed the villain to cause such big accident. It's not a joke to play with so many lives involved.
This is hilarious (first half atleast) 🤣🤣 Though I had to skip a lot of the villain SFL's blabbering because its the same old "I'm better than you" toxicity. Anyway, I always enjoy Sun Qian Xun's drama.
It was ok. I watched this due to the comments below gushing about the ML. Unfortunately, I couldn't connect with his acting and the story itself. I liked the FL the first time I watched her, but I think her chemistry with Wang YiLei is still the best. And kudos to the FL's bestfriend, she actually can steal the show if given more scenes. The ending was also not satisfying not showing how the villains got what they deserved.

I just want to comment on the age gap you mentioned. If ML's 33 and FL is 23, I don't think there's really a noticeable difference in appearance specially with Asian genes (Chinese, Koreans the most). Some are really young-looking even at the age of 40 lol.
Ok, this is my second drama of this actor and I watched both in a row, and I must say he's paired with really gorgeous FLs 🤩 Also, his dramas storyline were written well. I'm checking his list now.

Even the most awarded director cannot do magic for untalented actress and vice versa. Now pair an untalented actress to a rookie director, this happens. So if we are to blame the director solely on this, why isn't the ML affected? I mean he's not the best in acting here, but surely he's way much better than the FL's acting in this drama. I came here through a reco from Dominator of the Gods and decided to watch it because of the rave from comments and reviews. Sadly it was not for me. Halfway through and nothing is happening. I got bored and had to skip a lot of scenes specially with that evil King and evil fox. This is just a 2-hour run movie but I felt like I've wasted a whole day watching it lol. The plot is going nowhere, no action/fighting scenes. It seems that the whole movie is just an introduction for a second movie, but how am I supposed to look forward to a part 2 when part 1 didn't impress me. I should've watched the last 30 minutes and I wouldn't have missed anything.
