Even the most awarded director cannot do magic for untalented actress and vice versa. Now pair an untalented actress to a rookie director, this happens. So if we are to blame the director solely on this, why isn't the ML affected? I mean he's not the best in acting here, but surely he's way much better than the FL's acting in this drama. FL's facial expression is like a lost puppy in all of the scenes. I've been watching short films for a while and already lowered my expectations but this one, I can't get pass it.

Dropped it too! I've been watching short films for a while now and this is the worst actress I've seen. Sorry but not sorry. I wonder how she landed the role.

I'm starting this. Is it good?

I came here through a reco from Dominator of the Gods and decided to watch it because of the rave from comments and reviews. Sadly it was not for me. Halfway through and nothing is happening. I got bored and had to skip a lot of scenes specially with that evil King and evil fox. This is just a 2-hour run movie but I felt like I've wasted a whole day watching it lol. The plot is going nowhere, no action/fighting scenes. It seems that the whole movie is just an introduction for a second movie, but how am I supposed to look forward to a part 2 when part 1 didn't impress me. I should've watched the last 30 minutes and I wouldn't have missed anything.

This is by far one of the best mini series I've seen. FL's got to be one of the most badass and has the strongest will out there considering to what she has been through. She didn't waver, she didn't doubt, she didn't compromise. She is set to her goal, revenge!

My only complain is the quick ending (literally) of the villains. I wish one of them suffered atleast half of what was done to her.

I wonder who's rating it too low that the rating went down from 8.3 to 7.8. This deserves to be more than 8 for a mini drama.

Agree with the actress. She has that villain vibe. I thought the 2FL would have had a better pairing with the ML. Anyway, I came here too after DoMG lol.

FL was mostly OP in most part of the dramas where she manipulated everything to achieve her goal. Yet in episode 18, it was totally out of character for her to enter the enemies' mansion and got caught. They didn't show nor tell us what she was planning to do going in alone so to me it was a sudden dumb decision just so the ML has something to do - to save her.
Anyway, I enjoyed it so far though I would have liked to see how that deposed empress is suffering.

Yes atleast we get to see real strong FL's and not only in the first episode.

Someone mentioned the drama is by Bilibili, so they have the rights of releasing them first but not translated. iqiyi is doing the correct translation but delayed release.

That twisted FengSi had a chance to redeem an ounce of himself. Qingchuan will never forgive him but doing the right thing at the end could have made him a bit humane. tsk!
