The 2nd ML here is the most adorable 2ML I've seen in a long time. He's too honest and simple π π€£My favorite line, "you're keeping the baby but not the baby's father. you're a badass!" π€£π Anyhow, if you can get past the poorly written intro/first part, the rest is actually sweet and enjoyable. No abuse. Both have their own issues where ML didn't give her security and didn't know how to express his love and FL lacks confidence. She's inlove with him for so long but it seems like she never said it as well.
It's good to see Daisy Li in a vibrant and bubbly role. She's so adorable here. Most of her roles I've seen are dark and melancholy. As of FZX, this is by far the greenest flag role too with no choke-holding, insulting/bullying or threatening from him.
As for what the others are saying after Ep16, yes just stop there if you don't want to ruin your experience from the first 1-16 episodes.
Waaah!! He's falling in love first and fast ππ
Just first episode and yet their chemistry is already insane!!! I mean I've watched most of Daisy Li's drama where she had good chemistry with any ML (though it usually takes time to build up); and watched some of FZX's too but I've only liked few of his FL's but here, they hit it off instantly.
I fast forwarded almost the entire thing. Not a fan of dragged out mistaken identity shenanigans that make everyone…
Agree. It was frustrating to watch. I even fast forward/skipped more than half and it didn't get better. I think it's on the last 20ish minutes that everything was revealed.
I've seen a lot of Sun Qian Sun's drama and most of her MLs matches her enthusiastic character. Unfortunately the ML here is just too dull and spineless to even admit his feeling. For a person that was given a second chance for the love of his life, you would think he would fight for her but no, he cowardly left her in one of the scenes and gave up just like that. I know romance isn't the main focus of this drama but a bit of push/action from the ML would've been nice.
It was cute at first and I was laughing when she fools him with her cute acting. But she kept acting like that til the middle and I got tired of it because I'm not into that kind of FL (talks and acts like a 5 year-old). I was waiting for her to be herself and toughen specially when you act against a dominant ZZD. It really doesn't match. Dropped it.
My 2nd time watching this FL (first was the Accidental Firing -dropped bec of her) and again, her character is annoying. Let's see if I'm able to finish this.
lol I've never considered this actress to be an FL because she's so good as a villain in Queen of the Battlefield. Anyway, I quite enjoyed this but didn't like how they portrayed the villain to cause such big accident. It's not a joke to play with so many lives involved.
This is hilarious (first half atleast) π€£π€£ Though I had to skip a lot of the villain SFL's blabbering because its the same old "I'm better than you" toxicity. Anyway, I always enjoy Sun Qian Xun's drama.
It was ok. I watched this due to the comments below gushing about the ML. Unfortunately, I couldn't connect with his acting and the story itself. I liked the FL the first time I watched her, but I think her chemistry with Wang YiLei is still the best. And kudos to the FL's bestfriend, she actually can steal the show if given more scenes. The ending was also not satisfying not showing how the villains got what they deserved.

I just want to comment on the age gap you mentioned. If ML's 33 and FL is 23, I don't think there's really a noticeable difference in appearance specially with Asian genes (Chinese, Koreans the most). Some are really young-looking even at the age of 40 lol.
Tried this because of the actress but, i don't recommend to watch it! Totally no chemistry with how the ML's character was written. He's just so friggin daft til the end. No character dept. Nothing! Just plain boring.

Also, his dramas storyline were written well. I'm checking his list now.
