I'm currently watching it on YT and so far its not as bad as other MangoTV dramas I've watched.
From comments above, the subtitles were updated and probably that's what I was able to watch and so far its good like other normal subs. Some aren't perfect but still understandable.

Yes that 2023 drama. and I've also dropped the Butterflied Lover LOL! I think it's her character that I don't like both on those dramas. I may pick up (edit : again) the Butterflied Lover because her character there is better but I got bored with so much flashbacks with how their romance started. As for the Dear Mr. Heavenly Fox, dropped it on Ep.11. I tolerated the character there, but based on the comment section, it gets worse.
I was supposed to watch this after it's done airing but since I dropped the ' Dear Mr. Heavenly Fox' I can't wait for this instead.
I'm on Ep4 and so far I'm loving it. Love how the FL maintained her pure innocence and not jumping right away with the ML. Its the ML slowly falling in love with her instead haha. I also like her camaraderie with the Emperor. I hope they stay friends through out the drama.
I started this knowing it has bad ending with alternative (still not so satisfying) ending. LOL
Everything started beautiful, the premise, the ML, side characters, costumes and action scenes. BUT WHY THE FL??? I don't mean to discredit her looks because she still has a good chemistry with the ML and I think she can act well. But let's admit it, she's the least pretty among the female casts so why her costumes and make up/hairstyle too? Her dresses are too funky, like the designer wanted her to look unique but can't decide what kind of fashion to follow. Can't blame viewers for saying the actress is miscast here because she looks too shabby beside the ML. Sigh! The ML is really an eye candy so watching this while my patience allow me but surely dropping this when the FL becomes unbearable with her stubbornness and recklessness.
Just finished it and it was fun! My only complaint is the unnecessary screen time of the 2 brats. The time the FL spent intervening and giving advice to them would have been used better with more interactions with the ML.
First time watching the ML, and I think he really did it well. I checked his profile to find more of his works but unfortunately he only had this as his costume drama as the ML. Hope to see more of him.
The young uncle is really getting into my nerves! What a hypocrite! He keeps on saying the FL is a liar, which is true, but he and the other girl are fabricating stories too which not only damaged the FL but the whole of his family he wants to protect.

Ep3-5 gets draggy. They expatiate too much on the killer's background story I couldn't care less. It felt like 2 episodes were wasted and it has nothing to do with the main plot anyway. Aside from that, the romance started on Ep3 which is toooo soon IMO. Ep6-7 were the same, a lot of fillers that I'm already losing focus. Too many characters added too, and only Sima Dang is interesting. Not sure if I should keep watching if a lot of episodes are like this.

Anyway, the idea with the friendship here seem to be similar with The Blood of Youth where friends (one a bit dumb too lol) are protecting non-combatant smart friend (where its a bit disappointing he really doesn't know martial arts). I dropped TBOY because of the annoying FL, but so far I like the FL's attitude here.
EDIT : After putting this on-hold for a month, picked it up again, and I was really disappointed how the FL's character continued after she joined the gang. The character that I liked on the first part of the episodes become totally someone else. The romance, is there really? totally FORCED! 'I like you because you save me' kind. I felt there is more connection between the ML and the physician Wicked Woman and the chemistry build up is more convincing.
The execution was just WOW! It may be a common revenge story , but every part of the whole plot was executed well. If you are looking for a nice action movie, watch this. Some are saying this is a bad movie adaption of a drama and novel series (which I haven't watched yet), but you should give it a try and rate it yourself.
9.5/10. Half star taken for my love and hate with the FL. Sometimes she uses her brain sometimes not. Sometimes she reacts instantly, at times she just froze. And when she's in a dilemma whether to trust someone, she freed him from his bounds then points the gun to him and say 'don't move'. SERIOUSLY!!??? Oh not to mention her stroll outside the house right after the assassins JUST left! I was hoping there's one sniper out there to give her a scare shot LOL
based from the synopsis, the idea seems from a movie "Frequency" where a guy (in present time) was able to communicate with his dad from the past and saved him from an accident.
8.5/10 This was actually good! I have put this off due to its low rating before but I'm glad I gave it a try. The plot was well-executed so far no plot holes that I noticed. First time watching the ML and he did and amazing job here and had a good chemistry with the FL. My only complaint was the minimal fight scenes when the FL and ML can both fight. I guess it takes more time to execute and edit fight scenes in mini dramas.
WTF! Ep1, she was able to run away/get away several times but was caught/found several times???? Is this another stupid FL trying to be smart and look cool so in the end, another disappointment??? Everyone is looking for her, so after getting away, why not hide for the mean time?? NO, she went for a leisure walk!
Plot : Boring! Chemistry : No. The FL kept or looks like smiling all the time! Funny Moments : None Action : decent Dropped at Ep12! Waste of Time There's really nothing engaging in this drama!
DROPPED at Ep15. 7/10 is a generous one from me! Not because of the actor and actress age gap, but because I started this expecting a good laugh specially when Rui + Bai (from Romance of Tiger and Rose assistants) were here. I was disappointed. There were some funny moments but not enough for me to continue anymore as it seems that from this episode onwards ( from comments/reviews) the story gets darker and that they keep on adding villains on the show that are really unbearable, I don't want to stress myself out!
FYI, the ML here is the villain. Its a battle between him (and his bit*hes) and the FL. So if you came here for Dai Gaozheng (SML - protagonist), you'll be disappointed because the romance is MINIMAL. This totally is a revenge plot so rating it low because DaiGZ didn't show much abs is BS and unfair.
One of the best well-written vengeful FL! No BS! No annoying decisions like "why did she do that" or "she could have done this instead" After all the betrayal and cruelty she has been put through, she didn't lose her wit at all! She cleverly executed her plans and cunningly twisted all the evil plans against her and use it to her advantage making her enemies destroy each other instead.
This is similar to another short drama WISE WOMAN (where Dai Gaozheng is also in it), but I swear, the FL here has much stronger will and executed her plans better.
