The young uncle is really getting into my nerves! What a hypocrite! He keeps on saying the FL is a liar, which is true, but he and the other girl are fabricating stories too which not only damaged the FL but the whole of his family he wants to protect.

Ep3-5 gets draggy. They expatiate too much on the killer's background story I couldn't care less. It felt like 2 episodes were wasted and it has nothing to do with the main plot anyway. Aside from that, the romance started on Ep3 which is toooo soon IMO. Ep6-7 were the same, a lot of fillers that I'm already losing focus. Too many characters added too, and only Sima Dang is interesting. Not sure if I should keep watching if a lot of episodes are like this.

EDIT : After putting this on-hold for a month, picked it up again, and I was really disappointed how the FL's character continued after she joined the gang. The character that I liked on the first part of the episodes become totally someone else. The romance, is there really? totally FORCED! 'I like you because you save me' kind. I felt there is more connection between the ML and the physician Wicked Woman and the chemistry build up is more convincing.
The execution was just WOW! It may be a common revenge story , but every part of the whole plot was executed well. If you are looking for a nice action movie, watch this. Some are saying this is a bad movie adaption of a drama and novel series (which I haven't watched yet), but you should give it a try and rate it yourself.
9.5/10. Half star taken for my love and hate with the FL. Sometimes she uses her brain sometimes not. Sometimes she reacts instantly, at times she just froze. And when she's in a dilemma whether to trust someone, she freed him from his bounds then points the gun to him and say 'don't move'. SERIOUSLY!!??? Oh not to mention her stroll outside the house right after the assassins JUST left! I was hoping there's one sniper out there to give her a scare shot LOL
based from the synopsis, the idea seems from a movie "Frequency" where a guy (in present time) was able to communicate with his dad from the past and saved him from an accident.
8.5/10 This was actually good! I have put this off due to its low rating before but I'm glad I gave it a try. The plot was well-executed so far no plot holes that I noticed. First time watching the ML and he did and amazing job here and had a good chemistry with the FL. My only complaint was the minimal fight scenes when the FL and ML can both fight. I guess it takes more time to execute and edit fight scenes in mini dramas.
WTF! Ep1, she was able to run away/get away several times but was caught/found several times???? Is this another stupid FL trying to be smart and look cool so in the end, another disappointment??? Everyone is looking for her, so after getting away, why not hide for the mean time?? NO, she went for a leisure walk!
Plot : Boring! Chemistry : No. The FL kept or looks like smiling all the time! Funny Moments : None Action : decent Dropped at Ep12! Waste of Time There's really nothing engaging in this drama!
DROPPED at Ep15. 7/10 is a generous one from me! Not because of the actor and actress age gap, but because I started this expecting a good laugh specially when Rui + Bai (from Romance of Tiger and Rose assistants) were here. I was disappointed. There were some funny moments but not enough for me to continue anymore as it seems that from this episode onwards ( from comments/reviews) the story gets darker and that they keep on adding villains on the show that are really unbearable, I don't want to stress myself out!
FYI, the ML here is the villain. Its a battle between him (and his bit*hes) and the FL. So if you came here for Dai Gaozheng (SML - protagonist), you'll be disappointed because the romance is MINIMAL. This totally is a revenge plot so rating it low because DaiGZ didn't show much abs is BS and unfair.
One of the best well-written vengeful FL! No BS! No annoying decisions like "why did she do that" or "she could have done this instead" After all the betrayal and cruelty she has been put through, she didn't lose her wit at all! She cleverly executed her plans and cunningly twisted all the evil plans against her and use it to her advantage making her enemies destroy each other instead.
This is similar to another short drama WISE WOMAN (where Dai Gaozheng is also in it), but I swear, the FL here has much stronger will and executed her plans better.

Story : nothing new. could have been better if the execution was well-done Chemistry : good ML : Good! The well-written character made me finish it. FL : an absolute MARY SUE annoying dumb FL from start to finish. The actress is one of the leads in short dramas that can actually act, but her character here was stupidly written. No character development at all!

I think it was your review that had me put this off for long after watching The Killer is So Romantic. And today I started it and had to agree with you, episode 3-6 is such a waste. It really kills the momentum of the drama. Dropping it Lol

The only saving grace for this drama is the ML and the 2FL. The FL is one of the weakest FL I've ever seen in cdramas. All barks and no bites. I could have accepted her being weak if they hadn't portrayed her as a threat to the Empress! lol The FL admits that she isn't that bright, (and that's the only thing I agree with her) so why does the empress even be threatened to a dumb easily manipulated FL? And while she maintains that stoic domineering-like attitude, she's a bore! I really cannot understand how the ML even fell in love with her, albeit just being kind. TOO KIND actually, that even if the ML has been working behind her back several times, on the pretext of protecting her, she should atleast felt hurt, or so they say but FL's acting and how she handled those situations were sooooo lacking!
Role-Reversal drama! oh please, that's only the premise but not the plot. The ML had everything under control. no role reversal here really.
