Is this worth starting?I know its a longer drama... Is is slow pasced? Is there a lot of angst? Or pointless misunderstandings?
I think it's worth giving it a try, but it is a slow burn romance. There is angst, sure, but nothing devastating so far. I'm only on ep 16, but the chemistry between the leads is very good, they have very mature interactions and no misunderstandings. Really hoping for some sweet romance moments once they get together, but this being a 40 ep drama, it will probably happen after ep 20, maybe later even. So if you're good with this kind of setup, you'll probably enjoy this one π»
i love the thing that HT teach JX so many things. Most of them JX heard and learn from him. In the end she always…
Very true, he's a good teacher and his lessons are effective. He's also prepping his future hubby fit into his family π€ I also love that he never raises his voice or throws a tantrum if he doesn't get his way, quite mature, love me this kind of CEO π
I'm up to ep 16 and even though it's a pretty slow burn romance, I love how the ML is steady in his pursuit for the FL, he's not coming in strong or volatile, just giving pointers, mentoring and helping home girl do her thing and grooming her to navigate in this world full of sharks. His lessons may seem harsh sometimes, but always on point. Love that. Obviously our girl is not even close to thinking in that direction with her barely getting out of a 4 year relationship, but she'll get there, its a good thing our guy is very patient. As for the side plots, don't really care much for that, I usually skip most of it but I do enjoy Lili's character very much, although her bf seems shady for some reason, don't know why but I don't trust him. Also, I wish they would make the second female leads more likeable in dramas, they're always jealous, and extremely pushy and clingy, and as much as I hate any sort of love triangles, still, it's tiring to see the same archetype in every drama...as a woman, when I see this kind of trope, I just want to shake those SFML's, like girl, show some dignity and find a man who will know your worth π€¦ββοΈ
watching it on going. Waiting for next episode is tormenting me.
Indeed)) I've reached ep 11 in one sitting already π Enjoying this quite a lot. Although the main leads are playing ''well used'' kind of characters given the drama type, so far I find their personalities very likeable, I'm also loving the caramel haired bestie of the FL, I think her name is Lili, she slaaaaays πππ Knowing myself, I'll definitely re-watch the eps while waiting for the rest of them to drop ))))))
Just started this today and did not expect I'd enjoy it this much πππ Although the concept of 40 eps seems way too long for me, I hope it will stay good till the end , manifesting this to the drama gods π
Finally caught up with the last and this week's episodes.... Binging is way better than to marinate with 1 or 2 episodes a day... bruh the πΆ scene..waaaa πππ
I've had enough around ep 20 (with excessive skipping) and went straight for the ending with no regrets lol))) No way I could've endure more 20 eps of this trainwreck π
Watching this drama made me realise how the perspective on things changes with age. If I were to watch this in my early 20s, I would've been obsessed and completely enthralled by this story. But since I've watched this in my early 30s, well, I really struggled and had a hard time with it. Couldn't help but notice how dysfunctional was the relationship between the leads and how often they were on completely different pages with a messed up power dynamic. I think this is the first time when I'm glad leads broke up in the drama lol. My girl needed to grow up and stop being such an airhead and the ML also needed to sort out his feelings because they were just too different, and his inability to express himself was very frustrating. They were too different, and yes, there are many couples and relationships when being different is a good thing, but not in this case. We as the audience knew how the ML felt about the FL, how much he cared, but she did not, and being so immature, their relationship just fed her insecurities further and further to a point were she was a mess. I'm very glad they were able to find their pacing and communicate better, after all they matured as the story went on, and sometimes perseverance pays off I guess. The lesson I got from this series is that love is not enough, for something to work you need communication, maturity, compromise and understanding. We've got a happy ending for the squad, but I can't help but feel a bitter after taste to be honest....I don't know, love should be beautiful and wholesome, it's admirable to chase the things you want, but just don't lose yourself in the process, because it seems to me the FL lost herself in the process of chasing the ML before even figuring out her identity first.
It's a fun drama, obviously not meant to be taken seriously with a lot of hilarious moments. Love the take on the time travelling/transmigration theme, especially with the ML's POV in the real world. However they dragged the story in the second half so much and it became boring, had to FF a lot...but I still had fun watching this πΈ
I think what made this comment section quite heated up is the fact it has conjured sensitive subjects that are…
I get what you're saying and really hope she will make up her mind soon and stick with the ML ( I know she will, but the indecisiveness although somewhat understandable is killing me) , as much as I love the FL, I don't know if I can take it if they'll drag this too many episodes(((
I think some of you are just trying to twist the words who are not liking FL's attitude towards ML.Most of them…
I think what made this comment section quite heated up is the fact it has conjured sensitive subjects that are just magnets for online beef ( gender equality, misogyny, misandry, feminism, I even read mentions of c*ckolding etc). Like I've stated before, people can and are expected to disagree, and everyone is entitled to their opinions, but it doesn't mean we cannot be respectful and civil with each other about it. I think that's my biggest issue in this comment section tbh. While personally I agree with you that both leads contributed to their massive misunderstanding in the past life, I also think it is not that easy to severe and discard so many years of angst and it will take time for them to find their steady pace. One of the things I appreciate most about PWX is that he took the initiative to mend things in the second life and I hope that our stubborn FL will start walking in his direction.

I thought that one was fun, but THIS is AMAZING!! Loved it π€©
