I think its because many people have watched ''The Double'' very recently since the 2 shows have been released one right after another. I've also seen people in the comments comparing this to ''Story of Kunning Palace'' and ''Scent of time'' because it has some familiar elements and cast... I wouldn't take it seriously since indeed they're very different shows, but unfortunately people tend to do it a lot anyways regardless if its relevant or not, so try not to let it affect your experience while watching TPR 😉

It's pretty good so far, and I have a feeling it's going to be even better as the episodes are being released, but it also depends on what kind of shows you like to watch 😉

Yes, many viewers are hating on the FL's character while the other on ML's character. Perhaps hating is a strong word, disapprove would be a better choice. While personally I think that is absolutely normal since everyone is entitled to their own opinions, it has stirred some hostility in the comments, thus influencing the viewers I guess. I could be way off mark though with this one.
Another thing that has been pointed out is the choppy editing that's more evident as the show progresses, because as I understand they released the drama way more early than it was initially planned, and that impacting the more fine and detailed touches in post production...

I think its because the series have sparked some controversy between the viewers ( which is getting harder and harder to overlook in the comment section atp to be honest). Personally, I prefer to rate a show when I've seen at least half of it, especially that many dramas tend to go downhill in the second half... which I'm really hoping it won't happen with this one

I may be in minority but I actually like both leads a lot.
I like how savage and confident the FL is and at the same time how vulnerable she actually is and how much of her true self she has suppressed in her past life. I have a feeling she is a very devoted and at the same time quite a proud person.
Same with the ML, I like how the show unfolds more and more layers of his character, he is not so simple as he appears to be, at least that's the vibe I'm getting. He's loyal to his beliefs and has always been cautious when it comes to love.
It's evident they had a complex relationship in their past life yet they are often in sync and I love how they are communicating in their present life....lol, I went on a roll here, apologies ))))))))
