Okay, something was obviously off-putting to me about We Are that I haven't seen it till today. It's not that I don't plan to, I guess I am gonna ride it all at ne go and catch up with time and stuff, but like I am collecting the best out of best these days and this belongs in that category. (As well, many series that will be top notch are or will start airing soon.) As was mentioned below, this one has perfect pacing. I suspect it is only part of the magic. But yes, they don't stumble over things where they would just linger in the past. And I wonder, if they are gonna succeed in the last part of the series to make that. I mean, I am so grateful that I watched in one go all currently aired episodes. And I must admit that time flies when you watch this.

hmm, offgun's first series? or maybe someone from Bad Buddy? Def. second couples in recent BL chinese series. The problem you will run into is, since we discussed second couples so much more than several years ago, and they are spotlighted too, and series albeit they work with the same tropes, they improve them. So, technically speaking, you will not find anything better than this in the past, because what is now is working with the things that worked in the past (and twisting and imprving them), especially if we are speaking about series under GMMTV series. And I believe they are listening, at least to some of the complaints we have, and they try to avoid things and issues that we run into in the past. So, if you find anything, please send it my way. I like them (2nd couple) too. However, I am afraid we will have to look forward to more in the future, not looking back in the past - like it depends, it's always project from project. But overall, from what I feel, especially with internet and information traveling fast, they really improve. And they improve way faster than they did in the past with developments and stuff like this.
