Sageuk Lover

This is Park Eun Bin's drama and I can't imagine another actress playing this character. If we're giving idols a chance at acting, we should let actresses give their chance at singing too especially if they sing good enough for their roles.

Lee Re is amazing, as much as I love Park Eun Bin, I have to admit Lee Re's song is what I remembered the most in the drama.

She's always beemn amazing ever since she was a child actress.

So happy for Park Eun Bin with all her succcesses now. This is her moment. Happy for the rest of the cast too.

I like this drama and the acting (especially Park Eun Bin), but for some reason I just couldn't like/connect with the storyline of the brothers' father and him chasing his family that left him. It's not that I hate some melodrama or anything, for some reason I wasn't too invested in the show anymore when it arrived at that plotpoint.

The villains in My Demon remind me of Reborn Rich villains actually.

Huh? Both MBC (Park's Marriage Contract) and SBS (My Demon) are public channels. In fact, MBC is older than SBS (SBS I believe started only in the 1990s while MBC had been around much longer).

The last scene feels so refreshing. It's usually the male lead who mentions the female's heart is beating so fast and usually male lead who initiates first kiss, but here it's the female lead.

There was a drama called Empress Chunchu aired in 2009 but I haven't watched it. But it's another Goryeo era drama that is not exactly a youth oriented sageuk

The lead couple are the same actors in Time Between Dog and Wolf (drama is modern but also about revenge and Joon Gi's character here also has more than 1 identity) , but I personally find their romance here not as compelling as Time Between Dog and Wolf. You should try Time Between Dog and Wolf, it's a drama that shows their chemistry better. In this drama, I found the second female lead more compelling and has more chemistry with Joon Gi (I know they dated, but I don't think it has anything to do with that seeing as the female lead is someone that Joon Gi has worked with before and also has chemistry in their other drama).

they just announced their separation, you don't have to worry about her being paired with him anymore.

When she first arrived she didn't realize immediately she got transported to the modern world. She thought she was dead at first. We do see her getting confused at first when she roamed around the streets, thinking the foreigners wearing hanbok can bring her back to the Joseon she knew.

There are many of them but maybe the ones you see often are the ones that feel like working this year? Most of them are filming more than one drama at the same time (because they are not needed in all scenes they can film another drama while waiting to film their scene in one drama).

This drama has been on my watchlist for a long time. So excited to see this.

I have almost the exact same feelings as you in everything you said though I'm willing to give My Demon a chance for Kim Yoo Jung (I love its cinematography and the visuals it give though). I want more sageuk scenes for Park's Marriage Contract too. It's cool they used the young Deokim in Red Sleeve as young Lee Se Young here.

I liked the first two episodes of Park Marriage Contract better, though My Demon has really good cinematography plus it really uses the visuals of the main leads to its advantage (the scene at the beginning of the second at the beach coast was very picturesque). I'm willing to give the two dramas a chance. Both Lee Se Young and Kim Yoo Jung are beautiful and great.

I haven't even watched the first season, but I might watch that so I can watch this.
