I’d like to see Kim Yoo Jung stretch her talents a bit next time. She’s done enough rom/coms and Joseon dramas.…
would be nice to see her as a supernatural creature like a werewolf or gumiho. she was fantastic in gumiho tale of the fox child (she was only 10 but she pulled of the fox version of her character).
I didn't find a sense for the drama, the story is not suitable for the actors even if they did a good job. Kim…
I feel like they got her to do this drama because they needed a person young enough to play a high schooler but recognizable enough to be able to lead and carry this movie and ensure this movie earns.
She’s been beautiful for a long time. See her in final scene in Love in the Moonlight when she was 16. She was…
that's not her first kiss in real life nor in screen. her first kiss (both reel and real) was a deleted scene for road no. 1 kdrama back in 2010. it was deleted scene so not many people realized she even had kiss scene there. the second one was in 2010 kdrama grudge the revolt of gumiho. here is a video of her and her gumiho costar (who was a highschooler at the time) talking about their drama and their scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GK53rTmizX0 . basically her costar is getting the flak for the kiss scene but they were explaining that kim yoo jung was actually the one with more experience as she had done kiss scenes before whereas this was her costar's first (both reel and real).
I really want lee tae ri to play a main role. Been following him since 2012 , he is a good actor
Same, it's kinda sad and annoying his costars in both Moon Embracing the Sun and Extraordinary You (especially the latter) already had leading roles but not him. He is a great actor, hope Korea gives him a chance. I would be happy even if he got just second lead role. The highest lead role he ever got was villain (Tale of the Nine Tailed) and fourth male lead (Extraordinary You), he did get second lead but only in the childhood parts of the drama). It was a struggle to google him prior to his stage name change in 2018 (even though he has been acting longer than the actor who shares his real original name), Even now, it's kinda hard to look for him.
In my culture 'dowager' refers to a queen who was wife to a - now deceased - monarch, whether or not her child…
Not sure about alll the rules, but I think the parents of a king can be honored as king and queen when their son is king. Ex: Queen Insu was a queen mother but she was never queen since her husband died before inheriting the throne. Her husband Grand Prince Uiseong was posthumously honored as King Deokjong
Just finished my rewatch. All actors here really did a great job. I just noticed with my rewatch that Choi Young Joon (actor for detective Jae seob) is playing 2 roles here. I think he's also the guy playing Do Hae Soo's boss in episode 6. They have him big hair and round glasses to make him different from the detective. Kudos to the production for me not noticing at first.
I hated Park Jae Sang character more when Lee Min Woo was killed in Little Women since I was in the middle of rewatching him in The Princess Man. To be precise, I watched the Little Women episode of his gruesome death just after watching TPM scene where he was accepted by his wife for his selfless love for him.
Lol. In a span of a year I’ve seen Vincenzo, Again My Life, Attorney Woo. Will watch this (not sure if this is lawyer show) and Law Money (Lee Sun Kyun Moon Chae Won drama) too.
People worry about SSK, but she was phenomenal in Tree with deep roots, six flying and in Run, in my opinion.
especially in 6 flying dragons. i thought she was really a sensible replacement since she was very much familiar with the arthdal screenwriters (she was in queen seon deok, tree with deep roots, six flying dragons --> all dramas by arthdal screenwriters).
