c dramas are never as warm, kind, sophisticated as kdramas, imo. Sorry but I really think so. The only thing is that cdramas sometimes go so deep that kdramas never went to, for example, 2016 movie Xuan Zang about a buddhist monk who walked on foot to India to get Buddhist texts. FOR 5 years each way.... There are other amazingly deep c pieces of visual arts but overall, .. kdramas are more ... warm and POSITIVE

Well see UNLESS I took care of my mother as her sole caretaker 24/7 for a year, I would have NEVER really learned. It is exactly like the litte 11-yr old rescue and 2nd AH felt - "my parent could have never done that" - and even you see the evidence, and even you know on one level, you still give them the benefit of the doubt and it somehow doesnt sink in. BECAUSE THEY BRAINWASHED YOU That is the point I am trying to make.

I heard my mother and my brother talk shit about me in October 2024. But that was the first time ever in my life. Until then, it was hidden. I overheard it by chance. That is the FIRST TIME EVER that I got some proof of what I was suspecting. THEY LIED TO ME FOR LIKE 60 YEARS.

SO finally after 1 year, I have concrete and unquestioned evidence that those shit talks are a NORMAL behavior for them bc I overheard at least 2-3 more. and also I have 100% proof of my mother lying bc she keeps denying they ever talked like that and my brother openly admitted it.

Yesterday I got ONE MORE PROOF and FINALLY I GOT THE MESSAGE.

THE EXTENT OF BRAINWASHING AND BELONGING TO THE FAMILY is what I am talking about. It is very hard to break from that but it is possible.

Basically I feel like I am LIVING in the Low Life kdrama, everyone is chronic cheaters. Also, when you are born into that situation, like The Nice Guy, then you have to somehow escape, even physically.

I learned so much from this it is incredible and it is still hitting me hard what this all means. When I was younger I thought it is a lot easier to escape. I now fully realize that it is NOT possible to escape unless you have a super strong will and put in tons of effort to rewire your brain.
Some children are unlucky bc the brainwashing looks "nice" so they never wish to escape. Kids who are abused are more likely to try to change.

Redemption is something that does not have expiration date :) and it requires TONS of work
JH killed so many that he will have to work his as@ off for a veery long time to atone for killing 100s of kids and adults. Saving a few kids from fire is just the START.
Sorry I wasnt precise enough. He cannot redeem himself no matter what happened with SS bc there are 100s of other kids and adults he killed. But he can START redeeming himself by saving that small group from fire.

Nah you cannot eliminate it by killing them, bc evil is intentionally planted by God, like parasites and germs, to provide a situation where "good people" can prove themselves by making correct choices.
Also, wishing bad people death is bad karma for YOU, you are attracting death and misfortune to yourself, as you are behaving just like them.
I concluded that the only real solution is spiritual education, where ppl learn to be self aware and self reflect and keep inner peace. "The inner engineering"

regardless if he killed Seok Su, JH is destined for hell, how many hundreds of people and children did he kill? The only difference that saving the kids from the fire would make is that he dies knowing what he did and feeling remorse, which WOULD help his case up there in Hell. The sooner he starts paying his karmic debt, the easier it will be. The karmic debt interest is HUGE :)

Even if Seok Su lives, JH can never fully redeem himself by saving several kids from fire. it is impossible to atone for killing hundreds of children and adults just by saving several in a fire. BUT at least he will START ATONING and go on to afterlife knowing what he did and feeling some remorse. That is a better start than going in as 100% cold blooded killer. He cannot jump into Heaven for sure :) but at least he can get some karma off if he saves everyone from fire. I added the small print clause into my post. I never meant he will be 100% redeemed :)

EVERYONE GOOD NEWS! Love Take Two is an AMAZING old style masterpiece family kdrama. I love it. SOOOO exactly why we love kdramas. Communication, wamth, kindness.

Dramabeans has a nice review of My Lovely Journey BUT I THINK IT IS JUST WATERED DOWN KIDS THING, it is boring and not really well filmed. The story is good. The acting is not, for most part bc FL is a bad actress.

I stumbled upon it by chance since Queen's House is off for 1 night bc of baseball, I went to watch Love take two. OMG OMG OMG what a great surprise!!!!

Low Life drama by Disney made me scared to the point of depressed and ready to puke. It is unfortunately well acted but the drama itself it TOXIC, it is a bunch of very rough crude pirates and criminals all male and gredy, they are either smoking, cussing, stealing, or killing. They cannot string a sentence without cussing and fighting. Watching those losers makes you feel like life lost any meaning, it drags you doooown FAST. It is like watching a Western movie about a gang of ugly mean raiders you know like the kind that went raiding and killing gold miners in California and then hid in Arizona. Just ... YUCK

imo 3 BS had a great 2nd couple and ML was great, actually after all I remember only ML. FL was ... wow... iceberg.
imo It is Beautiful now had so no romance except dentist and lawyer.... I remember only them and the other lawyer.

I want to make a drama about stealing condos and houses in Hawaii under pretense of law - some sharkey attorneys sue you for nothing and judge condemns you for nothing and then they claim you owe them huge money for attorney fees and then they take your house THAT happens a LOT in hawaii
